They were very friendly and inviting, and held a simple but classic brunch with mimosas and the atmosphere was kind and caring! “This is definitely the best Korean Gastro Pub I've ever been to. Great food with reasonable price. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. We had their Pork Bossam and squid salad with noodle. Come early or really late cause this place is busy during dining hour and parking can be difficult. The staff is always on top of everything, very fast and attentive, always ready to welcome you with a smile. The atmosphere is so authentic and really makes you feel like you are at a pub in Korea! “Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to. A beautiful place with a great vibe. They have a bar in the main dining area which is great if you're looking to hangout after dinner. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and fun! Every dish we had was SPECTACULAR!!!. We ordered about 8 dishes and every single one was delicous. You can tell they use high quality products/ingredients. Lastly, the price we paid for this 10 STAR experience was too low in my opinion. I would easily pay triple the amount for this place. Our waitress, Colleen, was attentive and helpful and answered all questions. The menu was varied and interesting and the selections were easy to read and understand. I had Scallops which were terrific. My cousin had the Duck Confit with Sausage. She liked it as well. Since it was a celebration for our Birthday's, we were treated to a special desert. We asked for separate checks and were accommodated. We really took up too much time and were never hurried, we do not see each other enough and had so much to say. I have always loved this Restaurant and yesterday exceeded my expectations.“

“My husband and I have been coming here for years. The owners, Chris and Nikki and the bartender, Monica are always welcoming and take good care of us. Nice atmosphere, good company, lots of tvs if you want to watch the game, great music playing in the background. The food is always very good and freshly made. Some of our favorites are the chicken kabobs, the Jerry's Special, and the burgers, which are excellent! Half price martinis on Wednesdays with a long list of options to choose from. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday there and they were very accommodating and everyone had a great time!“

This was the first time I’ve had it since moving and I can FINALLY say we found the place. The egg rolls were so good, which is usually my biggest test on a place! The beef egg food young was also great, no big chunks of onions either. It was a good portion of ingredients, and the flavor was spot on. My husband had the chicken fried rice and orange chicken and he said it was really good - he usually says “it was fine” whenever we get Chinese, so this is a big compliment coming from him. The service getting the food was quick and still warm when we got it. I do remember coming here years ago, and remember it being really a great atmosphere and really good. So luckily with Uber Eats, we were able to have it delivered. I am thrilled to say I FINALLY found my go to spot!!!!“

“This place is simply amazing. I went there for a paint n sip and instantly knew I'd like to host an event there. I decided to have my 30th birthday party there. I rented out the private area, where you had the option of having your own DJ and personal Bartender. David, the owner, worked with me closely throughout the process. From helping me choose a DJ to helping with the food options. He made sure during the night that me and my guests were happy and satisfied. It was definitely a vibe there! All the guests had a great time and enjoyed the atmosphere. DeeJay Nez was great. He understood the assignment! The Theme was "Back to the 90s" he played a great mix of 90s/2000s. If you want to have a good time and relax, or need a space to host a party, I definitely recommend Social Bar and Grill! You won't be sorry! “Zin is a place that we don't visit often. The food is decent enough, but an extremely limited menu. The service was slow on a night where it wasn't very crowded, and I would say our meals were above average but definitely not something that I would recommend as a must go to. It's a decent place to meet friends for a cocktail maybe a couple of appetizers really more than anything else.“

“I really liked the place. The restaurant is very cute inside and has a nice bar. We ordered a couple margaritas which were good. The all you can eat chips were amazing along with the salsa. My only complaint was my dinner was so spicy and it was just fish tacos. My other friends also complained about the same thing. One had shrimp tacos and the other shrimp enchiladas. I've been to many Mexican restaurants and don't remember those types of dishes being that spicy. All in all I would come back again as drinks and chips were very good.“

“When I was 12-13 years old in 1977, 1978 the owner of this establishment at the time, Joe Kidd, would pay me $2/hr to sweep and mop the floors on Saturday and Sunday mornings. On Saturday mornings he would lock me in the bar so he could go out to breakfast with his buddies. So, I would pour myself a tall, frothy mug of Old Style and stare at it for a while before pouring it down the drain. I live in South Carolina now, but in 2016 I took a trip around the country by Amtrak, stopped in Chicago and rented a car to take my wife to visit Wauconda. We came here and I sat at the bar and drank an Old Style beer and pointed out to my wife that the tile was the same as what I swept and mopped in 1977. Thanks for the memories.“

The quality (in every regard) of all of our meal choices was absolutely superb! They won because every keeps their expectations low because it's bar food, but it's actually very good. And the vibe here is just fun! I had one of the best salads I've ever eaten. The Thai Spinach salad. Soooo good and spicy! Loved it! We also had the Spinach artichoke dip, which was fabulous. My 17 yr old son had the 8pc wings and a burger with a sunnyside up egg on it. “We booked my son’s 1st birthday party here because we really loved the four seasons room they had. The food was very good! The server Beth, we had was very sweet and nice to everyone. However I just wish she was a bit more tentative with supplying the things we needed. We had “open bar” for beer and wine for a part of the party but I believe there was some miscommunication from one of the bartenders to the guests about that.. We also didn’t have enough tables/chairs for the amount of people we had even though we gave them a final count a week before the party. I did have to clean up most of my guests plates myself too which was a little disappointing. And I also had to keep going up to the bar to ask for more plates, plasticware, napkins and cups. I realize this is a bar, not a banquet hall but I think we just expected a little more attention from what we got.
