He ordered traditional combo fajitas and I ordered 2 steak tacos and one shrimp taco. We also ordered a side of black beans, I do not recommend the black beans. The guava margarita was soooo good. This guacamole was the best in lake county, hands down!!!!“
“So this place is an amazing "Pocha" experience! Great social drinking vibe with amazing food. Note that the wait can be 40mins+ and it can get very packed. Now although you might wait a bit, which should give you enough time to have an order in mine, the food comes out super fast once placed. Probably took only 10mins for the food to start coming out.Highly highly recommend the Tofu Kimchi (which comes with pork belly), Spicy BBQ pork belly w/mozzarella, and the Rose Tteok bok ki.Definitely what we were looking for and they also have karaoke which we might come back to try.“

As someone living in the loop, I was willing to make the trip to the suburbs based on the authentic menu- the food exceeded expectations and was exactly like the goulash I had in Prague.We also had the schnitzel (pork), but was surprised they did not have a veal or beef option.Service was excellent and there is a nice bar with whatever game is on as well. “I was always resistant to trying bar food but my son loves going there with his friends so, I had to give it a try and to my surprise, the food was absolutely amazing. I used to only order the sample platter, steak sandwich and chicken wings but last night I tried their steak fajitas and it was surprisingly spectacular. Their margarita didn't taste as authentic as the food made by authentic Mexicans. However the manager was kind enough to offer me an amazing old fashioned and the bartender nailed it making my experience even more special. I'm not a fan of dive bars but they make you feel very welcome definitely turning into one of my regular places to go!“

Some of our favorites are the chicken kabobs, the Jerry's Special, and the burgers, which are excellent! Half price martinis on Wednesdays with a long list of options to choose from. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday there and they were very accommodating and everyone had a great time!“

They were very gracious apologized and corrected the problem within 15 minutes. This was my first time at the Oak at The Glen. Not to a point that I had to ask to remake the steak but enough for me to be slightly disappointed with the steakhouse signature menu. I ordered. Rare plus. Might be because of it ? But I ALWAYS order rare plus in all of my steak. No inside steak was cold. But I am very happy with the staff. I would return any time. It is a minor thing . “Do yourself a favor and grab some friends for karaoke and Korean food at AGIT. A group of us went on a Saturday night and we had a karaoke room for 2hrs. Depending on the size of your group they may add a few chairs in so everyone can fit. Once you're in your room you can start with the karaoke session and in the corner of the TV tells you how much time you have left of your session. They also have instructions on the wall for how to use the remote to choose songs and how to use the control. You can press a button and a staff member will come and wait on you. We ordered a handful of stuff to share family style. We had the bulgogi, fried chicken, seafood pancake, tteokbokk. There was plenty of food to go around and everything I ate was enjoyable. It was so much fun being in a private room and eating delicious food. I wish they would have had plates instead of the paper boats because you can't fit much in the boat and maybe some serving untensils for the dishes. But minor things I could look past. They are located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking avaliable.“

“We were in the area and remembered that Two Chefs was down the street. We have emotional ties to this restaurant because they catered our wedding in 2011 and we were very impressed with their food. The waitress greeted us at the door and was very professional, polite, and well dressed. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie, it was very flavorful. The chicken was very tender and the crust was flaky like you would expect. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli it was so delicious and brought back memories. “The Newark Nook is one of the more famous speakeasy's on Chicago's Northwest side. While it is most famous for being Milton S. Hershey's preferred watering hole when he visited Chicago for the 1893 World's Fair, it was also the scene of several gangland shootings in the 1920's, and was built on the site of a civil war battle where famed wild Buffalo hunter, Col. Michael Gallen, was killed. Today the bar is mostly known for its extensive cocktail list and secret lounge area. The food is prepared by a former James Beard award winning chef but is a bit too fancy to my taste, but everything is very nice. The Colonel Gallen Buffalo Nachos are stellar and include a commemorative plate that can be taken home.“

“Smitty's ale house is at the location of the old stores, the spirits bar not the strip club. They really did not change much from the outside. The new owners updated the bathrooms, looks like they expanded the kitchen and removed the dj booth. All probably good moves, based off of the history. The aaa staff was nice and engaging. The crowd for a bears Sunday was a lot lighter than the places previously iteration . That may be due to the bears sucking this year though. There was also less staff but enough for the limited crowd. For an ale works they had pretty standard beers on tap. Looked like only one rotating tap out of the 10 on the taps. Not a very deep option for beer needs. I do think any bar named Smitty's should have guineas on tap . I had the steak quesadillas. They were solid bar food. Overall thisplace is worth the stop but needs a bit more to stand out.“

The flight of Mezcal was a great experience. I love mezcal but never had tried different kinds before. The waitress was attentive and nice. The chicken poblano enchiladas were delicious, highly recommend! We also ordered the guacamole trio and ceviche appetizers which isn't pictured because we devoured them pretty quickly.“
