“Flew in for a few hours and this was recommended at the airport. We arrived a little before they opened and many people were already parked in the lot waiting, a good sign. I had the soup and salad and my coworker had the garlic pizza. Both meals were good. The cranberry walnut salad was the highlight. Despite many people arriving at once the service was quick and we did not wait long for our freshly made meals.Vegetarian options: If vegetarian just let your waiter know. They do put bacon on salads but I asked and they left it off for me.“

“We arrived on a Sunday morning around 8 and were seated immediately. The restaurant has a great small diner feel with all of the comfort food you want. Food was above average and Hot from the kitchen. Very good service and food to match. We will definitely be back.Parking: Parking is sufficient but scattered about the property“

“Well 2 weeks in a row we have come to breakfast and on a Sunday they was walking around filling drinks. BUT TODAY, I had to ask for more coffee and I was almost done eating. And never offered my other half anymore to drink either. It seemed like the waitress was exhausted. At 930 am. Other wise most of the time all is good.“

“This was a cute and quaint little place. You could tell they absolutely have regulars that know the waitress' name (Suzy I think?). She was very nice and likely the only waitress that actually works there. She handled 5 tables at once with ease. This place is pretty small (5 tables in the room we were in and another 2-3 near the entrance/kitchen). They surprisingly had a lot of options on the menu and although it is a bbq place, my coworker and I did not try it as we had a long day ahead of us! They sell breakfast, bbq and lunch all day though so whenever the desire strikes, you can eat it here! We both ended up getting cheeseburgers and they were good! I realized we weren't asked how we wanted the meat cooked, but it came out well-done which is how I would have asked for it anyway. The meat was still tender and juicy. The fries were also just a little crispy, which I enjoyed and the coleslaw was sweet and delicious ( and I don't like many people's coleslaw)! It felt like a family atmosphere and it was a nice little place. I'd definitely come back to try the BBQ if I was ever back in this area.“

Everyone ordered their food and even though we all ordered one after the other our orders did not come out in order and others got their food before we did making it so we were waiting on some of of our group to receive their food while others had finished theirs.Now, the food. We ordered garlic knots and El Gringo calzone. I cannot wait to eat there again because this calzone was SO good. One was big enough for 2 adults to share. I forgot to order it with no tomato but even that didn't affect my usual taste preference. The marinara is a tad spicy but their homemade ranch is very tasty.Its very busy and can get loud inside but the atmosphere was very laid back and chill. 10/10 would eat again.“

“Very neat place but small. The service was adequate, there were only two people working and they were busy. However my meal was great! We started with a local brew and their pretzel and beer cheese dish. The pretzel was HUGE! Definitely a two person or more dish to share. But it was delish and I recommend trying one when you visit. Go for the set red dipping sauce, I forget what it was, but it was good.I had a very tasty signature salad. You've got to try it! From the fresh baby spinach, salty walnut, sweet cranberry, and the feta to the rich balsamic vinegarette dressing, oh my! The combination of flavors! It was truly delicious! I also had a cup of corn chowder that was very hearty, served with toasted baguettes, and I couldn't finish it all. Thankfully, they have to go soup bowls, I love that! Lunch for tomorrow. Ordered and picked up dinner a couple days ago. The food was great. Basil spicy rice. Yum. But my 7 dollar crab rangoons were notIn the bag. I called but nobody could understand me when I was saying they were not in my bag. They did say come back? I said no. I am 15 minutes away. I asked if I could get it at a later time. They didn’t understand. Sooo I was out the 7 dollars. Not the biggest deal, but I really wanted them! Would have had 5 stars otherwise.“

“After moving here for college, I went and ate here with friends and loved it. I enjoy the atmosphere, especially when it is warm out, being able to choose to eat inside or out. The outdoor seating is great, with the ability to play games and take photos. The food is also delicious, and I love the ability to walk up and order right away, without waiting. The food is always warm and quick, rarely having to wait.“

“Born and raised in New Haven, I can be a pizza snob. Don't skip this place if you're in town - just straight-up pizza. It's all take out with a drive thru, but there might be a picnic table nearby. “For a Greek Gyro restaurant, the Hamburgers are pretty dam good too. So, bought a kid's cheeseburger meal, which included fries and 12 oz drink for $7.95 and a Double Cheeseburger Combo for $11.20'ish, which also came with fries and a 16 oz, then finally a piece of Baklava for $4.50. The burgers were delicious. Make fresh to order and how you want them. The only downside of the restaurant was that they didn't serve bacon to add to your burger, other than that they were hot and perfect. The patties were firm, uniformed, and well seasoned. They have fresh cut fries of the approx quarter inch square size. The size difference between the kids size menu burgers and the regular menu burgers being little to no difference. The kids menu is a great value. But note it is stated for "10 under". If taking home you might want to have a separate bag for the fry's. As just driving a short distance caused the toppings to wilt, because everything was so hot. Perfect double edged sword. The service was friendly and fast for fresh cooked food. The the restaurant's dining room is open and has definite Greek and Olympic feel. With booth and table seating. The they do implement a 2 student at a time in the restaurant policy, to control students from North High School over crowding the restaurant. They are currently open 11am - 8pm every.“

Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we asked for a new server. They moved us to a new server and he was fantastic (wish I could remember his name). “The review says, "what can I recommend about Duck City"...The answer to that, is everything. There is not one thing on the menu not worth getting. The Chef greets you, checks in on you. The wait staff is so attentive. Drinks were refilled, bread and butter kept coming. My meal was as if God robed himself in flesh and plated my meal. I cannot understand how the food tastes the way it does, because I can assure you, nothing I make at home ever tastes like what I have had at Duck City. I was also surprised that the cheesecake was only $6! It was delicious. Usually we don't get dessert because we hate spending another $10-$15 but for $6, it truly was the cherry on top of an already perfect meal. The atmosphere is so laid back, kind of an eclectic use of decor. This is THE best restaurant in the QC, no competition. I just. I can't say enough about this place. “When visiting my hometown of Moline this is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. I have been coming here since it opened decades ago and it is so good. Very friendly, attentive service. The ambience is comfortable and cozy. We had a 4 top table near the fireplace which was a perfect setting for a cold winters night . As it was Saturday night, the entire dining room filled up, so it is definitely a popular seating establishment. Our food all excellent. My favorite dish is the ginger chicken. My husband had the salmon. Both were excellent. The shrimp spring rolls (I think that is the name) are the best I have had anywhere! Service tends to be a bit slow. Looking forward to another meal here when we are back in town! Thank you!“
