“I come here often, and the cookies & service is always exceptional.HOWEVER, I want to make note of my experience on Friday night of 2/23/2024. The staff that night provided the best service I've experienced anywhere in years. Their phenomenal energy and service always makes my visit memorable. The two working tonight are by far my favorite across the board. Boss, if you're seeing this, please give them the full raise! They're the best ?“
“I was throwing my husband a surprise "Freight 50 Birthday Party". He has been working in the freight train industry for 30yrs, and is also an avid train enthusiast. So I was looking for a non kiddie themed train cake.Le Sucre was literally my best decision in finding the perfect cake! The lead chef/owner is an "Artistic Genius" who listened to my vision and exceeded all my expectations. It looked phenomenal and tasted Heavenly, it was one of the best cakes I've ever had. All my guests were asking where I got the cake from, for their own events bc it tasted so Delicious! I got Tiramisu cake, it was so moist and each flavor was bold and prominent, but yet cohesive a mouth full.“
“We wandered in just cuz it looked cool and it knocked it out of the park. While we decided what to order they gave us samples of their chicken jalapeño lumpia and chatted with us. We got the mixed mini lumpia, pork skewers, BBQ Bulgogi Bao, crab lumpia and a coconut smoothie. All of it was so incredibly good. I can’t wait to go back - we’ll definitely dine in next time.“
“Great place for breakfast !- Ordered the Omega Skillet- Good ambiance.- Big portions and tasty food compared to the small price.- Big pastries variety at the entrance counter.- Can accommodate big groups too.- The staff came to our table often for the refills or to clear the table.- They serve a shortcake at the beginning of the service instead of bread like any other restaurant. (Big plus)“
“This is located next to Woori Village. Huge parking lot. The bakery/cafe looked spacious upon entering. We only came here to check out their bread selection. We ended up getting a variety. Prices are not expensive, the size of the bread is not like a pea size. I feel like people use the word “expensive” or “pricey” these days, just because it’s not less than $1. They also have coffee, teas, cakes, and bingsoo. The woman at the register was very nice. The shop was clean.“
“I got the spinach pie and cheese bread. Spinach pie is outrageously good, just perfectly seasoned. Cheese bread was simple and tasty, my children loved it. I would never have found this place if I hadn't gone shopping with my sister-in-law who was familiar with Middle Eastern food and spotted it after we went to the Greek store next door. This place is a treasure, go try it!“
“Its my go-to after hrs place in the ‘burbs with my teen. We are mainly go for appetizers and desserts - all vegetarian options are good, ouzo is alright and the coffee with ice cream is my kids favorite. The vibe is family friendly, calming, low-key, and the ‘price is right’. Thank goodness we found this Gem!!!“
“I have been searching for the perfect croissant since moving to the north shore. I can honestly say, I found it at Paris Baguette. The light, buttery, flaky crust with the layers and layers of soft dough inside make this my go to for croissants. Because I was trying it out for the first time, I didn't buy any of the pastries... but you can count on me going back here over and over again. The service is... fine. You walk around with a tray and add the items you plan to purchase, take it to the register (which there aren't enough), pay for you food and sit in the void. That is how it felt when you first walk in. Concrete floors with some tables. Nothing particularly appealing. Just somewhere to sit. But honestly, the croissants are the draw. I have a baguette as well. It is exactly what a baguette should be. Bravo on the rocking baked goods!“
“This review is brought to you by the letter F! F: resh mochi, rice flour based donuts every time! Rotating flavors to suit every palate. F: amily friendly menu, with Korean hot dogs, donuts, bubble tea, and coffee drinks. F: ind it at the northeast corner of the Milwaukee/Golf intersection next to Fannie May.“
