“I loved my experience at Dear Margaret! This was my second time here and I thought it couldn’t be better than the first time (which was outstanding) and it exceeded expectations! The wait staff is so kind and takes time to explain the menu and wine selections. The meal was coursed perfectly. We loved the duck confit, pork schnitzel, and the pommes frites. “The food is amazing! We ordered the steak dinner and lamb chops and they were phenomenal! Seasoned and cooked to perfection! The mashed potato’s were sooo good along with the broccoli. Also got the Margarita flatbread and it was WOW!! Don’t get me started on the crab rolls. I could eat 10 of those. Finally we got the bread pudding and I was in heaven! Kids were even given Wikki sticks in these cute little goody bags to keep them busy even though they were super occupied with the game room. The chief/owner even came out and greeted everyone which I thought was really nice. It’s hard to come across good quality food and great customer service and this places defiantly provides that. Believe it or no, I was a vegetarian for 7 years even throughout my pregnancies where I craved everything but meat! Just recently started eating meat on occasions (I still get grossed out) but the steak I had last night I can honestly say I want to go back today and order it again ? called my mom, sister and some friends to tell them they have to try this place since we are always looking for good food which is so hard to come by!“
“Edit: I really appreciate Dave reaching out and taking the time to investigate the issue. I stopped in again today and Dave was there himself making sure things were going smoothly and trying to figure out what the issue was. He even comped my sandwich to make up for the last mistake. With that kind of care and attention, it’s clear this place really cares about their quality and their customers. Thanks guys!If ordering takeout, double check that it’s correct before you leave. I go here every other Saturday and get breakfast to-go, and half the time when I get home I realize I didn’t get what I ordered. Last time, I asked for a sausage & cheese bagel with no egg, got home and unwrapped it to find an all egg sandwich with no sausage or cheese. The food is tasty when they get it right, so I will keep going, but I will never leave before confirming again!“
“Visited Sojourn Restaurant for brunch in Chicago, IL, and it was a delightful experience! The smash burger I ordered was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. They let me add a poached egg, too! The live music added a fantastic ambiance, creating a perfect Sunday morning vibe. The staff was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall positive atmosphere. “I loved this place!! I had reservation for my cousins and I, they were great with sitting us. The ambiance is so romantic and mellow, great for conversation. Our waiter was awesome, really patient and helpful with the menu as it was our first time there. The food was delicious, our drinks were pretty good, and we even had dessert!! I will be returning!“
“Cool bar for drinks and music. It was early when we arrived, but it was already pretty busy. Once tables are taken, there isn't much free space to stand. We had to wait a bit to order, but bartenders were going as fast as possible. Drinks were pretty strong, and we all enjoyed them. If you are coming for the music I suggest arriving early.“
“Very happy to have another local eatery, the fried chicken dinner was great however upon second visit the chicken portion was woefully small, the whole dinner was barely enough for one. I haven’t been back since though it still is enticing because I did enjoy the food and Tobey is friendly.“
“Visiting Chicago for the first time, I had to find all the vegan options. I ordered a traditional deep dish pizza and the Oreo chocolate cake to go as we were in a rush to also go to a non-vegan pizza place for my husband. Very dark and creepy inside for me but the service was great and I really enjoyed the food! I’ve never had a Chicago deep dish before going vegan so I don’t have much to compare it to. The crust was thick and crunchy and the vegan sausage had a nice spiciness to it. I would have ordered all the desserts if I could! “The owner is so sweet! She let us in after our night of karaoke and served us drinks. Literally the sweetest woman ever! The drink menu had lots of variety and the lounge itself was well kept and clean. She says the space can also be used for private events as well. Next time you're in the area, please go visit Anna!“
“The food was delicious! I ordered the surf and turf!!! You get to choose as many veggies as you want. I chose mozzarella cheese. It’s so filling that I at some yesterday and finished the rest for lunch! “Awesome affordable quick breakfast. I happened to order at a time where the kitchen had no other tickets, and this plate was served hot in just two minutes. $6 mimosas, too! Quick friendly service, cool decor, and noticeably spotless. Murals and brightly colored furniture all around, and great music playing. Do not miss this stop!“
“Just came from ordering a chicken breast combo, a pizza puff and a cheese burger.. and let me tell you. This place never lets me down. I’m very picky on my chicken breast and they are nice and juicy grilled just right. Always order mayo lettuce and grilled onion and the onions are even on point. They are definitely not greedy with the chicken either.Parking: Never a problem with parking.!!“
“So its the B day and I decided to eat a little healthie, food was good but the chicken fried steak was a little tuff around the edges but tasty along with veggies and the mash. Wonderful atmosphere with a lovely hostess that made me a banging drink definitely will return when I'm with my vegan crowd in thus area.“
“Lucky Platter is a a true gem. Very tasty food, wonderful staff and a great owner. My favorite dishes at Lucky Plater are: Swedish crepes, tandoori salmon, pull pork tacos with a most amazing pineapple salsa and pumpkin soup.5 ⭐️ all the way!“
“The food is amazing here.. The Hakka noodles were the star of the show.. We also tried chef’s special fried chicken biryani which was delicious and the dosa was great too.. The best way to end our meal was the Madras Coffee which was amazing and authentic!! We will definitely go back there..“
