“Super cool place. It's a part-Vietnamese restaurant and part-convenience store with Asian snacks. It's in a pretty hip neighborhood. The pho broth was decent but wasn't as flavorful as other pho broths I've had. Still tasty. The thing I liked is that they used slightly thicker pho noodles. The salt & pepper fried chicken skin was a little bland, but fried perfectly. It went well with the hot sauce. My favorite dish was the Hainan chicken. It was poached to perfection and tasted delicious with the 3 sauces. The rice was addicting and the side soup made sure things weren't too dry. 4/5 for food, service, and environment.“

A lot of place use a sugary/ fake tasting orange sauce, but Broccoli has a very authentic and delightful taste. Our appetizers were super good, too. I was in town for a convention but I'd happily drive the hour it takes to get there to eat at Broccoli again.“

“During a class, I asked for suggestions for Vietnamese food and this was the suggestion.We arrived around 5:30ish on a Wednesday and was immediately seated. We placed our orders and the food began arriving...Every single item ordered was hot and fresh. We started with springrolls, they were small and unassuming but we were so wrong. That filling was perfectly seasoned. We had the crispy wings and it you like plain wings with an amazing crunch....this should be your go to. Those wings were dynamite.We ordered flank pho...the small bowl and it was ginormous. The broth was perfection and the fresh veggie platter was plentiful.Overall this was a great choice that was very reasonably priced.“
“We had a wonderful meal at Ni's Kitchen located in downtown Wilmette. Ni's has an airy, light feel with representational art of Vietnam on the walls. Convenient, free parking right out front. Service was very friendly and we spoke at length to Lisa, the charming proprietor. The beef steak and brisket Pho was tasty with the noodles and broth being seasoned well and the beef very tender. A portion of Thai Basil with Shrimp also hit the spot. Total bill was under $40 and we had leftovers!“

“It's hard to get a bahn mi to be well balanced and I think this place gets it right. I'm a sucker for ginger chicken and it was great, the pickled veg rocked and the bread (arguably the most important component) was outstanding. Liked the counter style ordering and the tea I got was pretty good, I don't know tea so I got no notes. Nice music too and service was quick.“

“It's their broth. You might not expect a place this good to be where it is, but there you are. The key to great pho is the broth, and theirs is rich, flavorful and never oily. They don't use the same for each, so if you order chicken, it will be different from the beef. The bowls are on display right by the door, be sure to take note. A "small" is more than enough. The appetizers I've tried so far are great. They do have a full meal menu beyond just pho, and I can only assume it's good. But when I crave pho that's in my area, this is where I go, and I'm so happy that it's this good“

It’s family owned restaurant so the atmosphere was very comfortably and quiet.Food was phenomenal, fresh and delicious! But most importantly reasonable priced. The service was friendly and fast. We had Pho and broth was rich and aromatic filled with lots of toppings. We also had Bo La Lot which was beautifully presented. Then we also had Bun Cha Ha Noi, amazing and authentic. “Returning tomorrow after about ten years or more. The restaurant is very tight between tables so it wasn’t handicapped friendly for my late mother who loved this place prior to being on a wheelchair, which is one reason why we stopped going there. Cleanliness was another issue, especially the washroom. I hope the restaurant has improved.“

“The atmosphere is very calm. The food tastes fresh. You can see them through the window as they are preparing so it puts your mind at ease with the cleaniness. The servers are very thorough, they came by a few times to make sure everything was good. Over all, it was a good experience. We cant wait to see more exciting items on their menu“

The drinks and apps really stand out in my opinion and I wouldn't mind just stopping in here for the drinks alone. My gf and I loved it.•Vietnamese iced coffee- reminds me of those Starbucks drinks you buy in glass bottles at gas stations but much better. It's a great pick-me-up•Cherry pomenade- both my gf and my friend really enjoyed this drink and I thought it tasted great too. Another solid choice.Apps:•egg rolls- amazing, I could eat a hundred of those things. Definitely can tell they're made fresh. The sauce it comes with is great too.•spring rolls- great and very fresh. “It was a delicious lunch that had me tempted to get more spring rolls. I don't really even like going up north like that, but I'm willing to right back up there to eat some more of their food. That pork Bahn mi, it was the pork one number 148, was delicious. The fresh, crisp, and flavorful veggies with the tender pork were a party on my taste buds. I even enjoyed the heat of the jalapeños. I think my only problem was the food (i had the pho with all the kinds of meat, which while good wasn't hot enough to fully cook the beef or even fully defrost it in a good amount of time, which resulted in my trying to heat the broth in the microwave as to speed up the process. I will note that I had gotten it to go and am not sure if it is a better situation when dining in, and honestly, I imagine it would be.“

I used to love it when the meat came to the table in a place raw and separate from the broth. Perhaps it's different in different places.The broth was bland, like it hadn't had a chance to simmer long enough for the spices to meld. It's a popular place, though. As I sat there, more and more families arrived to fill this place up. So maybe I'll give this place a try. There is nothing like finding YOUR Phó spot that you can rely on for *really - good - pho*. “I love this place. I’m part Vietnamese and grew up eating a lot of Vietnamese foods. This place is much than just a Bahn Mi spot. They have so many traditional snacks, desserts and meals here.I got a Bahn Mi, it was good, a little bit dry not the best Bahn Mi I’ve had in chicago but still yummy. And it wasn’t the bread that’s “dry” the bread is naturally crunchy on the outside and flaky and soft on the inside, that was achieved. I think I felt the fillings could have been balanced a bit better is all.I got a few viet desserts and some pickled mustard greens that I grew up with. I also got a “fried pork roll” which if you’ve never had it I highly recommend it, warm or cold. Just cut a slice off and eat it or eat it with rice or rice noodles. All were flavors that reminded me of home and I am so happy I found this spot. I will certainly be back.Service was fast and friendly. My friend even left her phone on the counter and they stopped her to give it back.If you’ve been looking for Viet desserts, meats, pickled items etc. I’d say this is your spot to stop by. “Very decent place for Viet food and Pho. Both Bánh Mì and Pho that we ordered come out very well prepared, fresh and super tasty. Althought the price is a bit on the higher side (as expected for a restaurant in the suburb area), but the quality of the food is VERY comparable to the one you would find in Argyle and Chinatown. So overall it's a great bonus since driving to Argyle and Chinatown is just painful with the local traffic.“
