“It's a chain, but TCBY has the only nondairy (and vegan) froyo. They recently unveiled chocolate with an almond base. I didn't taste much almond, nor much sour yogurty flavors. But if you miss soft serve, here's a good option. Plus you can add fruit (many kinds of berries) and boba and all that stuff, and even swirl it with sorbet. Though note that it's pay-by-weight, for 55¢ an ounce, or $8.80 a pound. To compare that to storebought (a pint's a pound the world around) it's pretty luxe, but it's a treat and not an every day thing. This branch is on the upper floor of the mall and shares space with a cookie company. If you come from the food court, bear right as you approach the atrium and escalators and you'll see it.“
“I always come here for Vanilla ice cream cones. Some other places just can't do vanilla well but this one does. It is also very convenient that is next to a dunkin donuts shop too. Vanilla is not my favorite ice cream flavor though. I would prefer getting the oreo flavor over all. This is the one place you should come for if you want ice cream.“
“Third times the charm. I went to 3 Baskin-Robbins that night that said they were open, 1. Closed, 2.lazy kid, no service, 3. PERFECT-finally got what I wanted here!A HAND PACKED quart, half pralines-n-cream, half Oreo. It was late, but she was nicest lady. I gave her a $5.00 tip“
“So many delicious flavors, it was hard to pick. Our family of four enjoyed our different choices. It's a beautiful ambiance for the beginning of summer with indoor and outside space. Staff was very friendly and helpful in helping us decide which flavors to try. Def recommend and we'll be back to try new flavors!“
“Vaca's Creamery - The Windy City's Best Ice Cream SpotAs a lifelong Chicagoan, I truly appreciate a good ice cream shop. And Vaca's Creamery, located in Wicker Park, is the real deal. This cozy spot offers over 40 inventive ice cream flavors that rotate frequently based on seasonal ingredients. On my recent visit, I indulged in a scoop of Salty Caramel - made with Nutella and flecks of sea salt. So decadent! The staff is extremely friendly and they clearly take pride in their craft. I had some fun chats with the owners who shared how they source dairy from local farms. It's nice to support a small business committed to Chicagoland. After treating myself, I enjoyed my ice cream while strolling along North Avenue, taking in the funky shops and colorful murals that give Wicker Park its edgy vibe. Vaca's is also just a few blocks from the iconic Buckinghams fountain, making it a perfect post-Millennium Park treat.Whether you're a lifelong resident or visitor checking out The Chi, do yourself a favor and experience what makes Vaca's Creamery worth the wait on those hot summer days. You'll leave with a cool scoop and a full belly - even on the windiest of days! I'll be back again soon for another taste of home.“
“The place is cozy and welcoming, the aroma inside is divine. We went in for a quick to go order of freshly baklava and there were so many varieties.Husband and I will definitely be back to enjoy more than the desserts. A perfect place for a coffee date.“
“Good ass Italian ice. Fresh fruit. So natural. Love it. They give you free "flight" (four flavors in a container) for 10 stamps for every purchase. To all the lovers of syrup who dislike sugary Italian ice, do what you do cause you're not tasting real goodness. Best Italian ice.“
“A friend told me about this neighborhood gem. I'm blown away by the friendly atmosphere and staff. If you're looking for something special and authentic this is the place to visit. Everything made in-house and freshly prepared with care and love“
“It was late and I decided to walk over and have a cheeseburger /w fries. Getting there was easy. On my way back home it got a little DARK. Need to remember Riverside has NO street lights. I had to walk more cautiously. . Tiptoe through the tulips. Ha“
