“Marcellos is a great restaurant for so many reasons. First off, the food is great. I've not had anything that wasn't good.Second, they have a great space for parties and events. They have 2 smaller rooms that really aren't small at all. But they can take down the wall to make it into a much larger room. They can host events much larger than you'd imagine.Great service, generous drinks, and the owner is a kind, generous, and charitable man who gives back to the community.Go here.“

“Gourmet, organic cotton candy! FOR BOOZY vibe, Veuve Clicquot Champagne was poured into the cotton candy machine. For REAL booze, BOURBON can be used. Sprinkle of POP ROCKS are for the little kiddie in ALL os us. A treat to see SETH BANKIER (Chief Executive Spinner) in the flesh, making my one and only cotton candy. NO STICKY FINGERS required or necessarry...bamboo tongs are sooo cute!“
“Worth the wait and must try! Beautiful and unique venue in the unassuming town of Des Plaines. Our server was kind and welcoming, food was delicious, drinks were fun and tasty. The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. Looking forward to trying the brunch and the outside patio... overlooking the water.“

It was a pleasure to coordinate this event with Rachel, their catering sales specialist, as they had many options and offerings. I appreciated her quick & detailed replies to our questions/ requests. On the day of, the catering team captain, Laura & staff were phenomenal as was the food! They were kind, accommodating, gracious & professional. No one went hungry & all of our guests left happy. We couldn't ask for a better experience & look forward to working with them again.BTW - The gals in the office loved the brie & raspberry bites the best and the cannoli bar was also a complete hit!“
“This place is amazing! Their customer service is top notch, they do what they say they will, and the value for the cost is best around. We regularly cater lunch for corporate meetings. We've tried Panera, PotBelly, etc. No one compares. Panera sandwiches have two pieces of meat on them and soggy letuce. PotBelly is good, but limited selection for those with dietary restrictions. Jimmy Johns may be fast but questionable quality at best. Give Tasty a try, you won't regret it!“
“Far better than your average greasy food taquiria. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful. I ordered an El pastor taco. I usually do flour tortillas instead of corn but since they make the latter in house chose that instead. 100% the correct decision. Never had a corn tortilla so fresh and tasty. The pork wasn't greasy and had superior flavor. On a whim also ordered the Korean taco with bulgogi spices and cabbage slaw. AMAZING flavor and texture. Got a carne asada burrito for my wife. You can tell they use superior Angus beef..it was top Notch in flavor and consistency.HIGHLY recommend this eatery. Will be back whenever I'm in the area.Parking: Easy.“
“Had a private dinner with my family at Dave's last night. It was great! The food was excellent. We had stuffed mushrooms, avocado toast, polenta and pesto, hand rolled lasagna, pork shoulder with blueberry sauce and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Everything was handmade right in front of us and delicious. We loved having the place ourselves and dined for at least 3 hours. Dave, our chef entertained us and told us tons of cooking secrets. The shop is BYOB so we brought all of our favorite refreshments. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. We plan to come back for many more meals.“
“Great food! Servers are nice. They keep on refilling the food containers even on the last hour. Love their bacon and cheesecake and mostly their brussels! Can’t wait to go back again.Parking: Depends on what time you will be there. Just got lucky I have patience to wait for good parking spot near the front entrance.“
