“This was my first Indian restaurant experience and I was blown away! We ordered veg samosas, chicken lollipop, garlic naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken 65 biryani, and another house biryani special. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I love that the restaurant is BYOB too. Will definitely be coming back!“

“These guys nailed the Indian-fusion food! Simple but excellent adaptations of classic favourites from Indian, Korean, American, Mexican, Italian cuisines (and then some!)We tried the vada pav (Indian burger with stuffed fried potato patty, spices etc) tacos samosa and chicken tikka were both delicious! Momos (potstickers), thin crust pizza, and samosa chaat (smashed samosas with chickpeas, chutneys, onions etc)Pleasantly surprised every dish done just perfectly with its own twist on the original. And lovely presentation. They have an ice cream station (not to be missed!)The place is casual, perky and fun… Absolutely try this place out.“

“Delicious food! It is not the first time for my family here and they never let us down. They have many items on the menu and I could recommend all of them. But we particularly like their sandwiches! If you need something qiuck to bite, look no further. Won't be disappointed. They can do the tray of them if you have more people to feed! There is a young, very pleasant lady working there - Sneha. She really knows how to treat customers. Very polite and friendly. We will definitely be back!“

“Found this restaurant while looking through Google maps and saw the highly rated reviews! Upon picking up my food order, the staff was telling me about their food specials and highlighting certain menus to try and she was very friendly and kind! I ordered the chicken 65 (enough for 2 servings!) and Fish Tikka Masala. I also received rice, too, on the side! I will definitely say that they were delicious and I would certainly order those items again. I will definitely try their other food options in their menu as well! They have deals Tuesday thru Thursday, which is great (but double-check with the restaurant prior or if they have a website)! The restaurant is a hidden gem and I think a must try for sure! I'm surprised the restaurant wasn't busy at that time I went to pick up the food!“

“This place was book-marked, on my radar, and then recommended by Pakistani friends so I figured it was a no-brainer. We were somewhat in the area and decided to make the trek to Devon to check it out. We got lucky in that we were seated at the last open table. It took a little bit for the staff to realize we needed a waitress but once that happened it was smooth sailing. The samosas were excellent to kick things off. Then the chicken tikka - which I saw another table order - was on the top of the list for me and didn't disappoint. And finally the Highway Paneer was very good but a little too spicy for the girls. Of course, I could have eaten their naan all day long. Very good food. Nice atmosphere. Excellent option if you are in the area.“

“Absolutely phenomenal south Indian food. We came in to dine in but had to get it to-go due to an emergency. The staff was super accommodating and the Veg Thali (sampler platter) was absolutely divine. My friends got the Mutton Thali and Chicken Thali and said it is some of the best food they've had in Chicago. Spice level is definitely on the hotter side of restaurants I've been to but that made for a great meal. Incredibly affordable too. At ~$15 per person and plenty of tasty leftovers that keep well, I'll definitely be making a point to return soon.“

“Small, quiet place with excellent food. I had a chicken chilli Marsala, tandoori naan, and Indian tea. It came out piping hot with enough food for leftovers (guess what I'm having for dinner?!). Clean place, good service. The only challenge is parking. In the heart of Little India, so lots of shopping nearby.“

“I went here last night to celebrate my Mother's Birthday. Our servers were Aanand and Sudeep, and I met the owner Vinod as well. The service was great, and so was the food. We had a nice time here. Only recommendations I have:They did not do any Birthday specials, which is typical for many restaurants. There was only 1 bathroom for such a large number of customers. Please to include more bathrooms and hand washing stations when remodeling.Dietary restrictions: Keto options available.Parking: Parking is free for 3 hours.“

“Sabri Nihari is a Pakistani food joint. That serves Nihari, a Pakistani beef (stew) dish that is loved by mostly all. A must visit place if you love Pakistani food. Their Bryani and Kabab fry are dishes that you would love to try. Also, the Mango Lassi is yummilishes. The servers at this restaurant are friendly and helpful. Their service is fast and the food takes you back home to the Orignal Sabri Nehari restaurant, that serves 100's of people daily. One last thing their portions are big.“

“We were in Mt. Prospect and were hungry. Looking at options, we saw this has a buffet. Let's go! We got their right as they opened. We were told to seat ourselves. The buffet had a lot of options. My kid loves butter chicken and said it was very good. Naan, samosas, and especially the briyani were all delicious. Briyani had a bit of kick to it as well. This did not taste like generic buffet food! When we came in around 12, the place was empty. Sitting there, no one came in until near the end of our meal. My kid said it was creepy and quiet. No music and a buffet to ourselves. They have a dinner buffet as well, and we will try soon. I'll update my review based on that.“

“Drove from Indianapolis, on a friend's recommendation. Trust me the time getting there and the money spend was all worth it. Very nice decor, clean restaurant, friendly staff but the food was the main STAR, succulent tender meat doused in flavorful meaty gravy, steaming hot naan bread and one of the best laccha paratha. I have been a great fan of Sabri'e Nihari but Ali bahi's NIHARI takes the cake, a million miles ahead when it comes to flavor, tenderness of the meat, and the portion size just was an amazing experience enjoying the meal. A great big thank you and wish you the best of success . In Sha Allah, we will see you soon.“

“Best Cafe on Devon! From the best Pakistani/ Indian dishes to the best fast food you’ve ever tried! The thing with Pakistani/Indian food with this restaurant is they offer you whatever they have made that same day making the items fresh. I’ve tried multiple places for the best cheeseburgers but nothing beats this restaurant! The Philly and the gyro are amazing too! Very well priced and the food is delicious! Do check them out you will not be disappointed!“

“This is my 4th time dining at this restaurant. When you’re here you’re getting an anthemic Indian cuisine experience. Their Boba is just the cherry on top! The staff know what they’re doing. To the DESI COMMUNITY please respect this establishment as a well ran business and don’t treat it like your aunty’ s house!!! Wait to be seated and be patient when they’re understaffed. This business is thriving and i wasn’t to see it stay! p.s. my one feedback is to bring in some warm lighting. The lights are too bright, softer lighting would be appreciated so you can comfortably eat with your hands. thank you.“

“Not only is the food great but the wonderful gentleman who was my server was amazing!Lets start off my reviewing the lunch entree I got. I ordered the chef recommendation which comes with tandoori chicken, buttered chicken, and lamb (I don't know what type of curry).I asked for a spice of medium to spicy mix. Ask and you shall receive! The spice level was perfect. I wanted heat but not so much that I don't taste the food. The buttered chicken is buttered chicken. I call this the gateway food of Indian food. It's simple. Nothing that I personally would ever rave over but was yummy. Now moving on to the lamb. Oh. My. Lanta. Cooked deliciously. The curry that it came in was also tasty. Tandoori chicken came out sizzling and was seasoned perfectly with the right amount of crisp. Tender and soft as well. Lunch came with Naan which was fluffy and it looked like it was baked fresh. Definitely not the typical flat store bought Naan. Chutney was also provided when I was seated. I ordered the mango Lassi and as you would expect it was standard and good.Lets quickly talk about service. I came in with luggage (just came from the airport) and they held the door open for me. So kind! I was seated at the perfect seat where I could toss my luggage to the side and out of the way. I asked for a box and the check (server could tell I was still picking and eating) and he said "I'll bring the check later, no need to rush". What a man! So sweet and kind. I came during non-rush hours (after 2pm) and I felt like I wasn't a bother at all and very welcomed. I appreciated the small talk here and there too as a solo diner!Definitely check this place out! They also have a fully stocked bar but I didn't order a drink.“
