“Sparvim and the entire Everyday Gourmet team exceeded our every expectation for our October 2020 wedding. We had a 20-person wedding due to the pandemic and really cared about the quality of the food, plus we had vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, and meat-eaters alike to please and Sparvim DID IT! Since we had an intimate wedding we really wanted to WOW our families with the food, especially since half of our attendees were used to the often-overlooked vegetarian meal option typically served at weddings. Everyone is still talking about how great the food was. The quality was incredible, the portions were large, and the seasonal touches were just what we wanted. The appetizers were plentiful and were visually stunning. We added an extra course since the meal was the main event for our smaller wedding and I am so glad we did this. Sparvim was very flexible and open to all of our menu ideas. She even created a salad based off of one of our favorite restaurants in California. Sparvim even created a coursed kids menu - she really blew us away from start to finish. She knows her business and was very helpful in making every decision, including the lovely tablescape. Her pricing was competitive and the service was outstanding. Every server was professional and incredibly friendly! The entire team took every precaution regarding Covid which made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. Sparvims expertise and personal touches were apparent in every dish, and the incredible presentation and tastiness of every bite made us lifelong customers. “Worth the wait and must try! Beautiful and unique venue in the unassuming town of Des Plaines. Our server was kind and welcoming, food was delicious, drinks were fun and tasty. The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. Looking forward to trying the brunch and the outside patio... overlooking the water.“

Our guests were given the option between the Herb Rubbed Beef Tenderloin, Grilled French Chicken Breast, or Hand Rolled Ricotta Gnocchi. I am so glad I had the option of tasting all the dishes because it would've been a shame to miss out on all the awesome flavors. We worked with Lorena and she was fantastic! Not only did she provide great advice on selecting the courses, but she also gave great recommendations for little ways to make an impact without going over budget. “The Auburn sign outside caught our attention, as my favorite cousin is a fan. We decided to give it a shot for lunch, and it was quite enjoyable. We opted to eat at the bar, and the design is very neat. The bar is covered in vintage pictures taken in the area. They have a fair amount of beers to choose from. The burger I had was tasty, and the seasoned fries were awesome. I'd come back for the fries alone! They have many TV screens that were playing a wide variety of sports. This would be a great place to catch a game. The inside is quite spacious. Located right off the Brown Line, the location is great for those relying on public transportation.“

“I highly recommend the Brunch Factory. The food is great and service is attentive. They have great coffee, espresso and frappe options. You have to try the baklava pancakes, what a masterpiece! The chef and server were the epitome of professional, kind, thorough and thoughtful. The food was absolutely incredible and all the foodies in the group said the entree was the best they’d ever had. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The meal paced perfectly and our kitchen was left immaculate. We first met with Zaneta at the very beginning of our venue search, she answered every question (and I had many!), I am still amazed by how quickly she replied to my emails. She was so incredibly patient and worked with us to make our day special. We absolutely loved the rustic vibe and cool decorations, it has a loft style to it. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner right next door (at a discount) which was a huge perk and convenience. The food sold us - Blanca made sure every detail was perfect for our wedding!! I went with my mom who gets around with a walker and every single employee went out of their way to ensure she could get in and out of the door, and get every carb she was craving. The coffee was refilled promptly and we even got lemons for our water when we asked. The only issues we ran into was the bathroom wasn't easily accessible because there were no bars to hold on to, and they serve honey in tiny little packets which are probably more sanitary but difficult to open.“

My wife likes "Phish food"... sounds weird as heck but it's so good! The staff were quick and easy, too. There are a few tables in there, so be wary if ya got a big group and you come at a crowded hour. But I've never had a problem! And the ice cream is absolutely delicious!“
