“My dining experience here was great, our server was Matt, he was very attentive, made sure our experience was great. The food didn't take too long considering they had a big party going on while we were seated. Definitely recommend coming in here ! And ask for Matt he won't disappoint!“
“Today was my first time trying Lazydog and my boyfriend and I were beyond impressed! We were looking for bar food and I wasn’t expecting much, but this place blew me away. The quality and flavor of our plates were equivalent to a fine dining restaurant, for half the price. Our service was similar as well, our server Sarah was beyond nice and helpful. The manager surprised us with free fries for it being our first visit. Other restaurants - please take notes. This is our new favorite spot!“
“Not the first time I’ve been to this restaurant, but first time for dinner as I usually join coworkers for lunch. Kind of a different experience as far as entrée sizes and prices. For lunch I feel it’s a moderately good deal but for dinner I was a little surprised at the portion size compared to the price, we did enjoy all of our dishes but having a hard time with the value. The charred cauliflower appetizer was tasty but small portion for over $12. The lasagna Bolognese made with a chicken sausage was equivalent of two large raviolis stacked on top of each other. For $20 I would expect a bigger portion. Overall a higher rating due to the ambience of the restaurant and service was good.“
“I had the nicest waitress I ever had and forgot to ask her name, but she was amazing she was mature with redish hair , and I had the best deep-fried hash browns ever, thanks to her, the foods she recommended was great , can't wait to return, and see her , I do recommend this honey jam “
“Had the porkchops, it was enough for three people and was incredibly good. The restaurant is a well oiled machine, just getting people in, fed, and out the door. Everything was fine, no complaints. Just not relaxed and quaint for my taste but this is what you should expect from a good steakhouse in the center of a popular higher end shopping center. We went on a Saturday night and Parking was a nightmare.“
“excellent food and service. The grilled artichoke is amazing. Don't know why they don't serve "Arnold Palmers"....they never seem to have lemonade in stock. Worth several revisits.Thai Kai salad and grilled rainbow trout....what a lovely lunch combination ?Seared ahi tuna...wild rice orzo and Citron tea...a new favorite combo“
“This is a family favorite! We go here often on weekends, and suggest it to others when they are looking for a new breakfast restaurant in the area! The million dollar bacon and bacodo omelette are two of my favorite. The shrimp and grits was a seasonal dish that I tried recently, and it was really good!“
“This was my first time at Gibsons. I was very impressed. I've eaten at a lot of steak houses and this was one of the best I've had. The mushrooms were delicious and the mousse cake dessert was impressive too. I'll definitely be going back.“
“Fresh tasting food, chill music and ambiance, clean restaurant and they always have my order ready by the time I get there when I order in the app or a very short wait for in person orders. The staff and managers are always so pleasant, welcoming and personable, too!“
“This was our first time back at B. Restaurant at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort since the pandemic. We went on a random Thursday night so there were not many people in the hotel or the restaurant. We grabbed a hightop near the bar as there were sports playing on the TVs. There were a couple of guys and a couple eating dinner at the bar, but it wasn't too loud at all. It took a little while to get service since there was only one bartender serving the bar area, but it was fine - just an observation. The bartender was super nice and accommodating. She's great! The entire menu has changed since our last visit. No more pot au feu. No more honey ricotta bread. No more mozzarella sticks. We really liked those from prior visits, but we ended up trying new items which were pretty good. And although the menu prices have gone up a bit from before, they were not astronomical, especially for hotel food. The best things on the new menu are the appetizers. We had the wings, the calamari, ahi tuna, french onion soup, and cream of asparagus. All were delicious. For entrees, I think my best advice is to skip the steak and short rib. Both were a bit tough and chewy. The scallops with risotto was really good. Mac and cheese was great if you like a more swiss cheese base (not so much cheddar). Truffle fries were outstanding. Desserts were a bit hit or miss. The chocolate cake was nice and rich. The kids sundae was good. The seasonal creme brulee was peppermint, but unfortunately the combination did not work well together, so this was a miss for us. Overall, I think this is a solid 4.5 star restaurant with the potential to be 5 star if they tweak some of their food offerings.“
“As a frequent shopper at the mall, I saw this restaurant all the time and wondered if it was any good.Tried it on a whim and I can confirm it is excellent. Fresh food that is just to die for. Everything tasted like it had just been harvested that day. So fresh. Atmosphere was very nice, especially at nightHighly recommended.Parking: It is in the oakbrook Mall, so parking is plentiful, just a little bit of a walk depending on where you park.“
“Absolutely loved this place! The service was great, and the inviting atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a fun night out with friends. Our bartender was very attentive and friendly ensuring that we were happy with our food and drinks. Already can’t wait to go back! Highly recommended!“
“I took my mom here for lunch. We were surprised by the service and quality. It wasn't what we expected for a restaurant inside the mall. We had a margarita (excellent), lobster bisque, spinach and artichoke appetizer and salmon. It was delicious! The dessert was even better!! We recommend the red velvet cupcake and lemon ricotta cookie. We just wish they had cappuccino. They only serve regular coffee.“
“We went the Saturday before Easter to have Brunch and some cocktails, which were both outstanding. There were 6 of us and we decided to play Bocce Ball, which none of us have ever done before. Our server explained exactly how to play and did a great job explaining is a way that was very easy for all of us to understand. Like I said none of us had ever played before, but once we started we all realized that it was a very fun and competitive game to play and we all enjoyed ourselves very much and we will definitely be playing again. I totally recommend this establishment to anyone that wants to have a great meal and a lot of fun. They also have Pool and Bowling. They are however a little pricey, but if you want to have some quality time with your friends or family it's definitely worth it. So go check it out and I know none of you will be disappointed“
“Cedar plank salmon was delicious as was the whitefish and the wagyu steak. The crab cake is the best. Sarah our server Debby th manager and Jennifer the hostess were all so gracious. I left my credit card with the bill and they called me immediately. I turned around and went back and picked it up. Thank you!“
“I often remind myself to avoid rushing to judgment based on first impressions. This mantra proved valuable during my recent visit to Kona Grill, booked via OpenTable—an app that rarely lets me down. The online photographs of the restaurant were promising, though they offered little insight into the ambiance.Upon arrival, I noted the setting was more casual than anticipated, but the warm welcome from my server, Paige, convinced me to stay. Paige was knowledgeable and attentive, expertly guiding me through the menu. She recommended the Ribeye Meatballs—a succulent combination of shallots, shiitake mushrooms, macadamia nuts, a chili glaze, and a creamy peppercorn sauce. The dish was an unexpected delight.Encouraged by Paige's impeccable taste, I also tried the Sweet-Chili Glazed Salmon served over fried rice. The pairing was innovative and flavorful, challenging traditional plating methods with its bold textures and tastes.I concluded the meal with a cappuccino, which arrived charmingly accompanied by a rock candy stirrer—a whimsical touch that rounded off the dining experience pleasantly.A heartfelt thanks to both Paige and Mario, the General Manager, for their exceptional hospitality that transformed a simple meal into a memorable culinary adventure.#chicago #foodie #restaurant #hiddengems #oakbrook #Illinois — at Kona Grill.“
“Went on a date night and very much enjoyed the main entree’s. They are going for a fancy vibe, but contradicts it with a tight table layout. The shaved Ribeye was excellent and the burger was perfection. The fries were tasty, but side mushrooms were just ok. Next time we will go in the summer and hope to sit outside and try some dessert.“
“This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is good, service excellent, and atmosphere nice. I had dinner here and they had a new spring menu. My only complaint is that the food menu is a little limited; I would have expected more options. I had the salmon, which was very good, and paired with an appetizer of the crab cake. Finally, the wine selection is more than sufficient.Parking: Parking is not an issue: plenty of space and easy to find.“
