“Came here tonight for a networking event, and was blessed with more food than I thought I would receive, for the price that I paid. And it was sooo good! The service was friendly, patient and fun. The atmosphere was easy-going and fun. Especially, when it came time to play BINGO. I will be coming back again and again.Kid-friendliness: I brought my teen with me and she enjoyed winning a BINGO, and she said she liked the food.“

“This was my first time at the restaurant and my experience was excellent. We were there for my daughter's 21st birthday and we originally had 2 tables but they were able to combine them at the last minute. And despite such a large party, the service was exceptional. Special shout-out to the manager and Joe, our waiter, plus all of the staff for being so accommodating and hospitable. Will definitely be back.“

“I called ahead of time to place my order. It was ready within 10 mins. The staff was sweet and very helpful. Everyone said hello and made sure I had placed my order. The restaurant was clean. It's in downtown Park Forest which was neat.I ordered the small tip & wing and brisket. Both were tasty and well seasoned. The tips were meaty and tender. The chicken was perfectly done. The brisket wasn't too fatty, but wasn't too dry...it was done just right. The Mac & cheese was good too.Everything was delish.“

“A really great little place. My go-to for grilled burgers. If I had to say anything negative, maybe the sides of feta are a little small for the price. But I can always get that at the grocery store.It's somewhat greasy, good food when you have a taste for it.Dietary restrictions: I have a fish allergy, and I've never had a reaction from any of the food. So they do a good job keeping the fish/shrimp separate.“

“Went here for my birthday lunch. I had been hearing about the Parmesan crusted lamb chops. I also had the strawberry margarita and it was delicious and kinda strong. So the lamb chops was recommended to be cooked well. When they came out they were still pretty pink on the middle. I didn't send them back I just figured I'll put them in the airfryer when I get home. Well I wouldn't recommend that because they were cooked through by time I made it home but I don't feel like they worked up good. I will go try them again in the future. The cheesecake was amazing. I'll be back in the future to try them again.“

We then are passed over to another worker, grabs bread basket and says follow her. NOW, IM ON CRUTCHES AND WE PROCEED TO GO TO THE BACK, WAY BACK OF THE BUILDING! IT WLD HV BEEN NICE TO BE ASKED IF I HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THE SEATING, SEEING AS IM ON CRUTCHES! BUT NOPE! NO CONVO ON THAT. I was tired of walking and decided to grab the nearest booth I saw. Our server, Brian, still took care of us even tho it wasn't his section.I also noticed that allot of senior citizens were brought down towards the BACK by the restrooms. I mean, was there no server up front? Odd way to start the night! I was not the only customer who had an issue with how far back we were being taken.There was a woman with a rollator, a person in a wheel chair.... seems to me a bit unfair to put disabled people so far back, by the restrooms.... now, no, I didn't/ don't know what the server situation was, but what I know, for me, on crutches, I feel I should hv been asked if I may have needed closer accommodations, but I wasn't. Anyway, food was good, server was EXCELLENT. Seating, one star!!!!“

“Okay if this want located in the same building with a barbecue place and a sandwich shop (meaning NO PARKING), in a spot surrounded by crime, I'd put it right up there with the best good old fashioned donut shops. The donuts are fresh and delicious. The lack of parking is a serious drawback, and I'm not walking very far to get donuts on that high crime corner. A security detail in the parking exceedingly small parking lot would go along way to securing a five star rating.“

“The food is ? ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and the pork chop. Tried it all. Chop was tender a little dry. the sauce fixed it right up! the sauce is really good . It's thin vs. a thick sugar sauce. Good stuff!!! The pork chop is thick it's in the pick with the fork in the beans cup, and they offer a double chop. I'm definitely going back!!“

“Tried this place for the first time and they did not disappoint! When you walk on its a quaint little place with a New Orleans type of vibe. Food was incredible and the bbq sauce was a must try. Me and my son had the wings and fries and my mom had the rib tips and fries. Food was hot and fresh and cooked to perfection. I will be going back!“

“I really want to gate keep this spot! The hours are until he sells our, which is usually by 4 p.m.! The ribs brisket and Mac & Cheese are my faves. However, I think if you order greens a corn muffin should be included. Staff, service, and cleanliness are excellent and consistent!“

“Perfect place to go after Juma! So wonderful having a full halal menu place this far south. I had the mix platter and it was delicious and filling! Great done in experience too. “Kirk’s you have gained a new customer. My husband got a tip and chicken combo. I got a mini tip. My husband usually doesn’t allow eating in his car but we drove 30 minutes to get there based on the recommendation of his coworker. The food smelled so good I just had to taste it . One bite and it was over! We finished the mini tip before we made it to the highway . I opened up the chicken and tip combo. It was at that moment when we agreed let’s turn around and go back for more. We returned to purchase the bucket of rib tips. Barbecue is our favorite food. But it’s so hard to find good barbecue so we usually make our own. So glad we found kirks BBQ I hope they remain consistent.“

“I have eaten their twice on two separate occasions once for lunch and once for dinner. On both occasions the food was wonderful I had the hamburger and fries the first time and the brisket the second. Everything was cooked wonderfully and very delicious.The service is prompt and responsive very polite.Location is in the downtown area with street parking limited on site parking behind the restaurant.I well happily eat there again when I'm in the area.And for those concerned about it being a bar and grill there is a separate seating area with tables and chairs and some booths separate from the bar area and they have a kids menu so it is family-friendly.Con... It's an 1 hour drive to get there...Kid-friendliness: Dedicated kids menu along with a seating area that is separate from the bar area.“

“Went on a Saturday around 12:30pm, busy but not packed. Food spectacular as usual, all the employees patient and great as usual. Group of 6 with 3 kids and 3 adults.Just went again on 4/20/24 for a birthday dinner for my son. $50.00 for 2 adults and a 17 year old. Thought that was pretty reasonable. Food was great as usual.“

“Tried the jerk barbecue rib tips. I wasn't terribly fond of them but then I remembered they were JERK so I settled into the flavor. Next visit I tried the beef short ribs and they were very good with the sweet potatoes and the greens both also good. Last visit I tried the oxtails. They were incredible and I look forward to getting them again. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. However, this time the greens were extremely bland, but that won't stop me from going back.“

“So... great little spot. I love this spot. You grill your meat at your table AND you have hot pot. Whaaat? You place your orders on an iPad and just yeah. Good food. Great food. And our service was really nice. There is a small buffet with condiments and "sides". All very good. I do think they overcharged us. They don't offer a receipt but once we got in the car we realized that we paid for almost another person. So be careful upon payment. KNOW what you're paying for. And request a receipt. I didn't deduct a star for this because, ultimately, that was our mistake. They do have a time limit. 2 hours. And they do charge for uneaten food. There is a lot for parking.“
