“Food and service are always first rate. My Bouillabaisse was flavorful with good sized mussels, shrimp, and white fish. Loved the broth. My spouse's fried chicken was delicious. Our server was attentive and professional. The Beignets were light, fluffy, and a perfect end to our meal.“

It's in downtown Park Forest which was neat.I ordered the small tip & wing and brisket. Both were tasty and well seasoned. The tips were meaty and tender. The chicken was perfectly done. The brisket wasn't too fatty, but wasn't too dry...it was done just right. The Mac & cheese was good too.Everything was delish.“
“If you like pork, this is the place to visit. The meat falls right off the bone. Try the ribs or pork chops and you won't be disappointed. You can order sit down or take out service. There are no table menus so you'll have to look on the wall to see what you want. seating is close so be aware. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who likes pork“

“I don’t know where to start. I have eaten at this establishment numerous times and have never had a meal I didn’t like. This establishment also has “featured” chefs to promote other black businesses. In addition to meaty tips, you can also get ox tails and other specials. While waiting on your food, there’s a bar area so you’re able to order a cocktail. Aside from first-hand experience and word-of- mouth, I often rely on customer reviews to determine if I should support a business. As you can see, this establishment has stellar reviews (except for one idiot who clearly eats “fresh napkins” ?). “We arrived with a large party. There was a wait but it was worth it. Everything we ordered was delicious. Food was fresh and well seasoned. The drinks taste perfect. Our waiter Zachary A. Was our server and he was excellent. He did not miss a beat and was kind. We will be returning!!!“
“Nice little barbecue joint in Frankford, IL that is tucked away in the back of the parking lot of a strip mall off Lagrange Road. Barbecue was good, loved the rib tips and pulled pork sandwich i got. French fries needed to be cooked longer so they have that snap you like and the seasoning was delicious ?“
“I can't say enough about this location it was absolutely phenomenal in every way possible and our bartender Mia was fantastic. Not only was she beautiful and very polite she took the time to talk with us and laugh, overall my cousin and I have decided that this will now become our new weekend hangout once a month just so we can order drinks and hang out with bartender Mia. “Tried the jerk barbecue rib tips. I wasn't terribly fond of them but then I remembered they were JERK so I settled into the flavor. Next visit I tried the beef short ribs and they were very good with the sweet potatoes and the greens both also good. Last visit I tried the oxtails. They were incredible and I look forward to getting them again. The sweet potatoes were also delicious. However, this time the greens were extremely bland, but that won't stop me from going back.“
“Kirk’s you have gained a new customer. My husband got a tip and chicken combo. I got a mini tip. My husband usually doesn’t allow eating in his car but we drove 30 minutes to get there based on the recommendation of his coworker. The food smelled so good I just had to taste it . One bite and it was over! We finished the mini tip before we made it to the highway . I opened up the chicken and tip combo. It was at that moment when we agreed let’s turn around and go back for more. We returned to purchase the bucket of rib tips. Barbecue is our favorite food. But it’s so hard to find good barbecue so we usually make our own. So glad we found kirks BBQ I hope they remain consistent.“

I noticed one employee and heard another in the background as I walked up to the window. ..The Lobby w/max cap. around 15 people held approx. 6 customers whom had already placed orders.The most visual worker kept "busy" going about his duties preparing and packaging orders.My 1st and foremost complaint:Lack of Attention or No Priority given at The Service Window! The Main Employee, (even as another Customer enters the Lobby) never looks up ? ? not even once. He doesn't acknowledge my Presence for over 5-mins. He literally ?? walks right past me twice ??♂️. I didn't feel that they cared one way or another The Preparation Table & Refreshment Preparation was adjacent to the Take Your Order Window and the Cashier area was to the right of where I was standing. So there's no reason for him not to notice me.“
“Big Hen and family came an catered an event for my company and when i tell you they came and showed up and showed out ...I mean just that ..the food was wonderful and the customer service was great they made evyone feel like thay were apart of the family they kept us laughing with their pleasant spirits ans got us very full with the wonderful food ..I would choose Big hen's bbq habds down for anither catering event.They were wonderful book them for your next eventyou won't be disappointed trust me“

“Amazing rib tips, mac n cheese and greens. I wasnt super impressed with the hot link but the sauce, fries and everything else was exceptional. The owners are super nice and it was a Valentines to go order. The restuarant was nicely decorated for a date for valentines day. Great local business with great food.“
“Tried this place for the first time and they did not disappoint! When you walk on its a quaint little place with a New Orleans type of vibe. Food was incredible and the bbq sauce was a must try. Me and my son had the wings and fries and my mom had the rib tips and fries. Food was hot and fresh and cooked to perfection. I will be going back!“
