“Ever since my go to restaurant Hong Min closed, I have been searching for a new Chinese restaurant. I live 4 minutes away and my girlfriends wanted to try this new restaurant Harmony in Palos Heights. They both ordered Pina coladas and they said it's pricey but pretty delicious. My dirty martini is gross. Dirty martini was my choice of drink so I've had quite a few and this is one that normally tells you they don't know what they're doing. It's just straight up vodka. No vermouth and no brine. Nothing but vodka with ice.Service was pleasant. Very friendly and the place was pretty big. Love how spacious the booths are which was very comfortable.Pot stickers was big and doughy and I had the Mongolian beef and it was delicious but it is spicy. I can eat spice and this was right up my alley. Chicken fried rice was also pretty good. Love how big the portions are and not skimpy at all.If my dirty martini was good, I probably would have given them 5 stars. It is my fault for ordering a dirty at a Chinese restaurant but with a liquor license, I expect that's doable. They could have simply say, please order from the menu or wine. We don't do martinis. Still a decent 4 stars. Will definitely be back for other dishes maybe no alcohol for me.“

“I went by myself, with my family and then my husband and I and each time the food has been great!!! So very happy we have a new favorite on the southwest side so we don’t always have to go to Chinatown! The fried pork bun, spicy pork ramen, fried chicken, and passion fruit lemon tea with tapioca are what I’ve tried so far!“

“Ignore the person who apparently doesn't understand what "EXPRESS" means. This place slaps. It's cheap, good quality, and everyone is nice and friendly. It's a tiny storefront and not really meant for dining in. Don't judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree.“

“I came here with family and friends to celebrate my two kids' birthday, and we had an awesome time. The hibachi is a must do. The kids and adults enjoyed not only the food but the entertainment of the chefs. I ordered the chicken and steak and they both were very good along with the other sides the chefs cooked up in front of us.“

“Strip mall sushi spots now populate virtually every urban area in the U.S. It's funny to think that 25 years ago, sushi restaurants were few and far between, and for most folks the notion of eating raw fish was completely absurd. 25 years later and they dot the landscape like fast food chains. Most people have their go-to spot for strip mall sushi, and Ichiban is probably that spot for a lot of people. They're not breaking any new ground here, but the service is good, the restaurant is clean and the sushi is delicious. I've only been there a few times for their all-you-can-eat lunch special, and at $21.95/pp the value is right there. They do offer an extensive menu that features a bigger variety of sushi, as well as Cantonese and Hibachi entrees. I would like to visit again in the evening and sample some of the other items offered on their menu. The all-you-can-eat lunch special features appetizers, pieces of nigiri, common rolls, and a selection of specialty rolls. All of the items I've had have been really good. Great spot to go for a reasonably priced, delicious lunch!“

“Good Service, Delicious Sushi, Always Fresh. There is a large variety available on the menu. I have been here many times over the last 5 or 6 years and never disappointed nor have I ever had a bad experience. This place is very busy so a bit of a wait is not surprising. Definitely one of my favorite Sushi places in the area and there are many to choose from.“

“I love this place, come here for a lot of family birthdays. The owners are great people and the foods never a disappointment. Good first date, romantic night out, even a little bit after mid afternoon it’s really a great form of entertainment as your food is prepared and kids love the art of cooking amazing food with such talents that differ from chef to chef, saying you’ll always get a chef whose routine is something different or new vs the last meal you ate here. Love it. Long time customer.Parking: Plenty of parking in a large lot off la grange road, all free just a standard plaza of small businessesKid-friendliness: It’s definitely upper scale, kids are not a problem at all. I’d just be aware when spending money on quality food and an experience with other patrons would be best be suited for children who don’t throw a fit or cry. I hate saying it but everyone is spending good money on great food and amazing entertainment. I’m not against kids. I’d just make sure that it’s not just a privilege for kids but also adults. They 100% welcome kids but just might be better earlier in the day with them.“

“Amazing food, super compliments to the chef and crew. The young lady at the cashier area who took our carry out order was delightful and helpful. Compliments to whoever hired her. What she is being paid, it is not enough. That front and center contact sets the whole atmosphere. Our first time visit. Our new go to preferred carry out place. The menu was so extensive it will take us a long time to get tired of it!! Love it, love it. PS. We have NO family or friends who work or own the place. This is a real and sincere customer!!!!!!!!“

“This was our first time coming here. It is located in a strip mall and is smaller than I expected but cozy. We came here tonight to celebrate our son's birthday. Since his birthday fell on Superbowl Sunday, when we arrived, two other families were finishing their dinner, so we had the place to ourselves after they left. With this being said, the service was wonderful! Staff was very attentive and we loved our chef, Andy. I wish I had taken a video of him twirling the spatulas around because he was awesome, engaging, and funny! For appetizers, we ordered sushi and spring rolls. The birthday celebrant ordered filet mignon and lobster, my daughter ordered the chicken and salmon, hubby ordered the steak and lobster, and I ordered the salmon and lobster. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I love my rice, but I especially enjoyed the noodles. To Ryan's wonderful surprise, they brought him fruit after dinner. That was so sweet of them!“

“I go there with a group for the lunch specials and the food was tasty and generous portions. The waitress is friendly but doesn't talk much because she's the only one waitressing and looks very busy, answering phone, cleaning up etc.“

“We ordered our food to go. We both got the Samurai Choice(steak & chicken) chicken fried rice, appetizer noodle. The food was delicious. The steak and chicken was well seasoned. It's a little pricey but it was really good. I wish they had a hibachi lunch special.“

“Visited last nite, Friday...& thought I'd write a review of the exceptional dinner my husband & I had. We were surprised we were able to be seated as we were walk-ins without reservations (typically this area & its restaurants are hoppin' on "Fun Fridays"!). Let's cut to the chase tho before I continue to embellish. We began with drinks, I had a nice glass of Pinot Grigio while my husband elected to have a good Japanese beer. Edamame was brought right after the drinks, thank you...perfect. Then we reviewed our quite extensive dinner menu options! I mentioned to my husband I was in the mood for some sashimi tonite, and in the very back he found the sashimi dinner options which we selected from! The one we chose was a Sashimi & Sushi combo. It was a HIT! Also, the Presentation was out of this world as the quality of the fresh fish (which were chef's choice for us that evening) was second to none. Oh, we also had the miso soup and salad with ginger dressing...who does not love homemade Ginger dressing...cannot get the stuff at the grocery store that even comes close. All good. My husband ordered his salad separately for a larger portion and he wished he would have ordered the dressing on the side as the dressing was rather abundant on his salad. Other than that, we loved our dinner and experience there! I especially loved that the chef did such an amazing job on his selection of the cuts of fish for our sashimi order! It was a good variety as well as cut. We were very pleasantly surprised! Well done Mr. Wu ! We will definitely be back...“

“Love this place! Definitely recommend. Just eat here. Order with the board and the dry erase.Continue reading if you have more questions. This was my first visit but won’t be my last. Went alone and sat at the bar.Food: I had 6 of the fresh rolls and it of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The rainbow roll was absolutely amazing (my go-to roll). The prices are very reasonable: Specialty rolls are $10-12, and the basic rolls are 2 for $10. Most places in the area are charging $14-$21 for a specialty roll. The size of roll was perfect, not too big not too small and so much flavor in each bite. None of my rolls fell apart, just all around quality. The owner is from Korea so I’m disappointed I did not try the Korean specialties, but ordered Bibimbab to go. She recommended a few dishes for next time.Atmosphere: People keep describing it as a “hole in the wall,” I disagree and describe it as “cozy.” It’s like you’re sitting in the owners living room watching Tv and eating. It may not be everyone’s vibe… but their right people appreciate it. Maybe not the place for a first date high school date, but two degenerates, absolutely.Service: My service was fantastic. There was two people working, I believe they are both owners. The one that made my rolls brought them over with a smile, so nice. They are very kind and easy to talk to. I do not enjoy most people but I enjoyed their company. I read some of the negative reviews and don’t listen to them, they are incorrect. The owners are laid back, hard working and they might not tolerate Karen’s. ??♀️ is what it is. They’ll tell you like it is and I’m here for it.People watching is on point.Vegetarian options: At least 10 vegetarian options.“
