“I love this place, come here for a lot of family birthdays. The owners are great people and the foods never a disappointment. Good first date, romantic night out, even a little bit after mid afternoon it’s really a great form of entertainment as your food is prepared and kids love the art of cooking amazing food with such talents that differ from chef to chef, saying you’ll always get a chef whose routine is something different or new vs the last meal you ate here. Love it. Long time customer.Parking: Plenty of parking in a large lot off la grange road, all free just a standard plaza of small businessesKid-friendliness: It’s definitely upper scale, kids are not a problem at all. I’d just be aware when spending money on quality food and an experience with other patrons would be best be suited for children who don’t throw a fit or cry. I hate saying it but everyone is spending good money on great food and amazing entertainment. I’m not against kids. I’d just make sure that it’s not just a privilege for kids but also adults. They 100% welcome kids but just might be better earlier in the day with them.“
“We ordered our food to go. We both got the Samurai Choice(steak & chicken) chicken fried rice, appetizer noodle. The food was delicious. The steak and chicken was well seasoned. It's a little pricey but it was really good. I wish they had a hibachi lunch special.“
“Make sure you do the all you can eat! With both sashimi and sushi both super fresh and delicious, the only reason I am giving this a 4star is because the way the servers were, was told "next time you order make sure you do it right" and I thought this was unprofessional and rude, but otherwise the atmosphere and surrounding was very nice, and sushi was on point.“
“Ever since my go to restaurant Hong Min closed, I have been searching for a new Chinese restaurant. I live 4 minutes away and my girlfriends wanted to try this new restaurant Harmony in Palos Heights. They both ordered Pina coladas and they said it's pricey but pretty delicious. My dirty martini is gross. Dirty martini was my choice of drink so I've had quite a few and this is one that normally tells you they don't know what they're doing. It's just straight up vodka. No vermouth and no brine. Nothing but vodka with ice.Service was pleasant. Very friendly and the place was pretty big. Love how spacious the booths are which was very comfortable.Pot stickers was big and doughy and I had the Mongolian beef and it was delicious but it is spicy. I can eat spice and this was right up my alley. Chicken fried rice was also pretty good. Love how big the portions are and not skimpy at all.If my dirty martini was good, I probably would have given them 5 stars. It is my fault for ordering a dirty at a Chinese restaurant but with a liquor license, I expect that's doable. They could have simply say, please order from the menu or wine. We don't do martinis. Still a decent 4 stars. Will definitely be back for other dishes maybe no alcohol for me.“
“Great staff. Sad to have to see owner get disrespected because the customer didn't like something. Owner is great guy. And didn't deserve the disrespect. Food is beyond amazing. I will be coming back for more. Do try their bento boxes too. I promise it's worth it.“
“I go there with a group for the lunch specials and the food was tasty and generous portions. The waitress is friendly but doesn't talk much because she's the only one waitressing and looks very busy, answering phone, cleaning up etc.“
“Runa Izakaya: Fresh Fish, Friendly Staff, and Fast ServiceRuna Izakaya is a hidden gem for anyone looking for delicious Japanese food at a great price. The service is incredibly fast, which is perfect for a weeknight dinner. But the real star of the show is the sashimi. The fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful - some of the best I've had in the area. While I typically stick to sashimi, I couldn't resist trying the White Sox roll (had to, with that name!). It was fantastic - a great balance of flavors and textures. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, which added to the overall enjoyable experience.Overall, Runa Izakaya is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for fresh, delicious Japanese food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!“
“Been here multiple times for the all you can eat sushi special and will definitely be coming back for more.I can only eat like two specialty rolls and some appetizers but find it still cheaper to do AYCE vs pay per each roll. If you can eat a lot more than it’s definitely worth it.They only offer the AYCE during lunch until 3pm and they don’t offer it on major holidays so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re coming here for that.Sushi is great and the staff is very nice and attentive. Check this place out because you won’t regret it!Also, I’ve gotten takeout multiple times and have never had a problem or issue with my order.“
“Excellent food!Excellent service!Amazing Decor! They move a lot of people in and out as long as you're patient. Some groups may talk a while making you wait, but that's no reflection on the staff.I've been here many times and it's my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Hibachi spot! ❤️Keep up the good work!“
“First time here. I usually don’t like sushi from other places but WOW this one hit different. I got a shrimp tempura roll and a California hand roll so good! And the employee on the phone was so kind , helpful , and patient . I wish I asked for her name. I highly recommend will be coming back very soon!“
