“The Rootbeer float is delicious. The 1st 2 times I went, my float and strawberry shakes were excellent. My 4th visit, the cookies & and creme shake, was great, but my strawberry was just pink and not very flavorful at all. I saved it so I could remake it. Didn't want to throw it away. It cost too much for that. I will try again, but I will taste it before I leave.“

“Oh my!!! So I just stopped in to Richards to pick up a door dash order. I started gushing over the delicious flavors with another customer that was waiting for her order. Each delicious flavor sounded so amazing, I KNEW I had to get some! I door dash all the time, so I’m always going to different delicious restaurants. Rarely, do I actually buy. Otherwise, I wouldn’t pay rent right? I spent some time trying samples of my favorites and some new ones, chatting and laughing with the customer and employee at the counter and walked away with a great experience, tons of laughs and a cup mixed with strawberry cheesecake and wildberry sorbet. The ice cream was so cold abd creamy, yet I was melting. What an amazing experience. I asked the employee if he was Richard, to which he said he was just a student. I reassured him, he is learning from the very best. Everyone, your most delicious ice cream and other treats from Richard! He does it best!“
“Hottest week of the year and we needed to do something fast to show our loyal employees how much we appreciated their hard work and dedication. I filled out the online form at Windy City Ice Cream, requesting a quote. Elena got back to me almost immediately and together we set up a time the next day to come out and surprise our employees. Communication was great the whole day and Aaron showed up with his truck on time. He was both courteous and professional. With traditional ice cream truck music playing, our employees were able to make their selections and the overall reaction from our employees was quite positive. What a fun experience! My husband and I knew we wanted to do great and delicious mexican food for our wedding and we were struggling to find someone who could do that in a large venue setting, and was willing to travel to Janesville, Wisconsin. I found Rossy through tons of research online and so happy I did! She is so incredibly kind and we enjoyed taking the drive to Chicago where she cooked right in front of us a variety of options to try for our wedding.I know that my husband and I probably over communicated often in the 9 months leading up to the wedding with tons of questions and making sure all would go right. She was so patient and kind, communicated with us as we needed, and made sure we were confident with the day of.The day of was amazing! The set up of the food was great for a buffet for 220 people! It was delicious and was a HUGE talk even after the wedding from family and friends. “This is another stand of El Becerrito (I see another reviewed on Yelp in Uptown). I think I've noticed them driving by before, but more recently this past Friday after the bitter cold two days, I was reminded that I should make a stop. I think the stand is here primarily Mon-Fri and they start in the mornings I believe, early enough for breakfast. Street was clear enough this morning that even if you were driving, it should be easy enough to park and pickup. Tacos are $2.50 each and come with onions and cilantro if you choose, and your choice of red or green salsa. A lime is thrown in on the side and you could eat there fresh or get it to go. They put it on a styrofoam plate for me to go with foil - next time I'll just have them foil it. Great option for a quick pickup on a street full of tacos (you can get cabeza at some of the other local taquerias).“
