“Came in the afternoon for a quick bite. We were greeted immediately and seated since it was not as busy. I miss the old menus, but the QR was easy enough and we placed an order for Gola kebabs and the chicken tikka along with the parathas. Our food came quickly and it was fantastic. If you want a fix of home and need Pakistani food that hits the spot, then this is the place. The food, the ambiance, the people. It was all fantastic. Definitely a place to visit for a taste of home.“
“The best chickens ever eaten in Chicago are here. A very kind and sincere person serves here. From today, if I want to eat halal kfc style chicken, I will definitely come here. Thanks for the sweet chickens. If you want to eat halal chicken, this is the right place. such sweet, tender and delicious chickens. Thank you very “
“Absolutely phenomenal south Indian food. We came in to dine in but had to get it to-go due to an emergency. The staff was super accommodating and the Veg Thali (sampler platter) was absolutely divine. My friends got the Mutton Thali and Chicken Thali and said it is some of the best food they've had in Chicago. Spice level is definitely on the hotter side of restaurants I've been to but that made for a great meal. Incredibly affordable too. At ~$15 per person and plenty of tasty leftovers that keep well, I'll definitely be making a point to return soon.“
“Hidden gem of Old Town!! I drive by this spot on the way to/from work and always see cars out front - finally stopped in last night and can see why. First of all, the place was filled at midnight with repeat customers which was a great sign. I was a little skeptical when I saw the prices on the menu as it was much more expensive than I expect from a counter serve restaurant, but when I tasted the food, I completely understood why. We had the daily special, the goat biryani, which was loaded with fall off the bone tender meat, flavorful sauce, and rice that was perfectly cooked. Our take out box was packed to the brim and we were easily able to split that meal into multiple leftover meals. I thought I may have just been extremely hungry the night before but even eating the leftovers today, I was blown away by the flavor. One of the best dishes that I've had. Not a fancy place at all, but everyone was friendly and they do have seating available if you want to eat in. Would highly recommend!“

“Amazing food. Delicious butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan. We crave it. Cash-only, there was an ATM inside but it was out of service. It was a busy kind of atmosphere (self-service water was out for the first half while we were there), but you can tell it's busy 'cause the food's legit. COME FOR THE BUTTER CHICKEN - IT'S SO GOOD!“
“We are a group of 20 from California who visited Chicago. We had brunch at Kings Sweets today and the food was amazing! We ordered Halwa Puri, Chole Batura, Paya, Naan, Kashmiri Chai, and Irani Chai. The Halwa Puri was a 9/10. The potato curry and chole that came with it was so delicious. The Chole Batura was a 10/10. It was very creamy and flavorful. The Paya was a 10/10 as well. Everyone loved its perfect balance of spice and flavor. The Naan was a 10/10. It tasted so good with the Paya. It was fresh and aromatic. The Kashmiri Chai was an 8/10. It was good, but I couldn’t taste the nuts that well. The Irani Chai was a 10/10. The sweetness and taste was just right.Overall, our experience at Kings Sweets was fantastic! We would definitely come again.“

“"I wanted to express my appreciation for the amazing service provided by our waiter during our visit. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and efficiency truly enhanced our dining experience. Thank you for having such a dedicated team."“
“Drove from Indianapolis, on a friend's recommendation. Trust me the time getting there and the money spend was all worth it. Very nice decor, clean restaurant, friendly staff but the food was the main STAR, succulent tender meat doused in flavorful meaty gravy, steaming hot naan bread and one of the best laccha paratha. I have been a great fan of Sabri'e Nihari but Ali bahi's NIHARI takes the cake, a million miles ahead when it comes to flavor, tenderness of the meat, and the portion size just was an amazing experience enjoying the meal. A great big thank you and wish you the best of success . In Sha Allah, we will see you soon.“
“I’ve been here several times. If you’re ok with a small hole in the wall with literally one server but are also looking for one of the best Pakistani/Indian food you’ll ever eat…this is your place. I can’t stress enough how good ALL the food at this place is. And you’ll be surprised with how low your bill will be. BYOB too.“
“Best Cafe on Devon! From the best Pakistani/ Indian dishes to the best fast food you’ve ever tried! The thing with Pakistani/Indian food with this restaurant is they offer you whatever they have made that same day making the items fresh. I’ve tried multiple places for the best cheeseburgers but nothing beats this restaurant! The Philly and the gyro are amazing too! Very well priced and the food is delicious! Do check them out you will not be disappointed!“
“This spot in Chicago is amazing, the food is so tasty and authentic I would love to bring my family here again and again. The beef sheesh kabobs are great and the aloo paratha were so fresh. The biryani was super tasty. I would definitely upgrade the furniture and ambiance of the restaurant. The service is great. There fried chicken is good!!“
“Great food, had the half tandoori chicken for $26. Their entrees come with rice and peppers plus onions. Perfectly charred with a soft marinated outside, perfect texture inside and out. Have had the Seekh kebab before here and have been to Lincoln park location multiple times always great.“

“I was looking for Gola Ganda in Chicago for a long time, and I believe Spinzer is the only one in Chicago which serves Gola Ganda. Last, I had was in 2015 in Pakistan, and now I had at Spinzer Chicago. Trust me it tastes exact same as you’re having it on Karachi Streets.“
“First of all Very good service . Musab and Sanju are great.Their aaloo Samosas are the best .Surprisingly they make amazing burgers, My favorite is the Nash burger with fries , awesome sauce.Halwapuri ofcourse the review would be incomplete without it.And now they are HFSAA certified.May ALLAH give barakah.“
“The place was really good in terms of the food first of all, but more importantly, their service. These guys have a separate place where you can offer prayer and it felt like I was in a masjid, felt so auspicious. The wonderful part of my visit there was their generous gesture. I had miscalculated and paid more for the food and went out, I was sitting in the car when one of the person came looking for me to return the extra $$ that I had paid. This is something rarely found these days, I could feel that he did it not do that out of fear that I may realize about the miscalculation and approach them, but instead, out of his conscience.Mashallah. May Allah reward good hearts.Jazakallah khair?P.S: It is about my visit from May 11, 2023.“
“Oh my goodness. Wow. Wow wow wow. Kapow! Justice will be served only upon tasting this food, for words will not do. This was the best Indian food that I’ve ever touched my tongue to. Thank you God for leading us here! We are High off of this Aloo Gobi, Saag, and Daal… What a blessing. Thank you.“
“The most iconic Pakistani mithai place in the country (continent?)! My family has been going here for decades hundreds of times and I am so glad it remains open till date. The mithai is sooooo good and you can’t find anything this good with so so much variety anywhere! My favorite are the cham chams and the pateesa (Istg I can’t find pateesa this delicious anywhere!) the halwa mithai is melt in your mouth delicious. The halwa puri breakfast can always be relied on. The snacks- my mom loves the mirchi pakoras here (pepper pakoras) and I love the samosas. I’ve even ordered their mithai for shipment to Toronto. If you haven’t been here yet, you should go!“
“This place is open up late making it an excellent spot for food during a late night study session or coming back from work. The staff is very friendly and there is a good amount of seating. The food is very tasty and the portion sizes are great for the price. Overall I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to try it againDietary restrictions: Zabiha Halal“
“Must try Indo-Pak place in Chicagoland. Definitely should try their Chicken & Goat Dum Biryani. They’re open till 2 AM. Haleem is only available on limited days, worth trying. Goat Fry is a juicy, tender and very tasty.Don’t have much expectations on ambience, but food would really make it up though.“
“Very delicious mandi platterWas missing India and Naan on Devon gave the best and the tastiest mandi with loads of meat. Thanks to Riaz bhai and shoaib bhai for the treat, and thanks to Fahad bhai for the last minute request at 12 amWas totally worth the taste, quality and the quantity⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“First things first.,. WATCH YOUR STEP on the way in. It's posted, but if I could say nothing else, I would just say that. But I can totally say more. Service wasn't great at first. But it got better really quickly. This was my first experience with Indian food and it was really good to me. The dessert was meh but that's probably more my fault for not knowing what I was pointing at and not getting something to my preference because of it. I'm not holding the restaurant responsible for my ignorance. It was expensive. But of all the places I've been lately, it had good value for what we ordered.“
