“I went with a falafel wrap, which was good, and filling. Also had a cup of lentil soup, but it was very thin and consisted of blended up lentils. It wasn't the hearty soup I was thinking it would be, and it didn't seem to have a lot of flavor. The staff were very nice and all in all, it was a good spot for a healthy lunch.“

“Truly excellent. I totally see why this place is so highly rated - it deserves more reviews even!I went here with my sister on a random Sunday for some Mediterranean food. We passed it by a million times but never knew it existed in this small strip mall! The person working the front is one awesome guy. I’m not sure if he’s the owner (he gives me owner vibes) but he was so personable, attentive, hospitable, and welcoming. Such a gracious host!The food was phenomenal, period. The hummus was so creamy and seasoned nicely, the chicken was flavorful and juicy, the lentil soup was delicious, the salad was refreshing, and the falafel was crispy on the inside and so soft on the inside. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. We took what we couldn’t finish home but rest assured we devoured everything lol.There’s convenient parking right outside and even though it’s a relatively small place, there’s tables inside for you to dine in if you’d like.I’ll totally be back here again! 5/5!“

“The owner of the establishment was so nice and walked us through the menu when we told him it was our first visit to the restaurant! We ended up ordering a chicken shawarma wrap and the chicken was very well cooked and paired nicely with the garlic sauce, tahini, and fries. I really enjoyed the food portions as well and thought the prices were fair! There was plenty of seating the restaurant itself is well kept. I will definitely be back soon!!“

“I visited the Turkish kebab house today and had an amazing experience. We tried the Doner, Adana, Iskender, and mezze plate, and everything was fantastic. “I have tried other uzbeki/central asian restaurants but this one wins. THE Best uzbeki , Central asian food in chicago! The kebab skewers are charred/cooked to perfection. If you are a food lover and LOVE GOOD QUALITY MEAT this is your place. Alhumdulilah they are Halal and we enjoyed iftar here. Food came Out to the table in short time and was very hot and fresh! Wonderful hardworking family with a great Server, Rebecca, a seasoned professional who had given us great recommendations for our appetizer of pizza and entree. It's like, zip lining in Costa Rica is the best of the best, can't do it anywhere else again. “The owners made me feel like I was a regular, and had been going there for years.., but it was actually my first time eating there . The Lemon chicken soup was the best I've ever had! Went back the next day to bring some home to Missouri. (Here on vacation and wanted to share with friends when I get home) I will definitely be back. Ohh and the homemade bread they serve with the soup came out of the oven while they packaged my soup to go, and it was warm and sliced for me on the spot. It doesn't get better than this family owned hidden gem. Thank you Grapevine, I'll be back next time I visit!“

“Whenever I'm in Chicago I search for hidden gem foodie spots. I mean Chicago is literally foodie Heaven. We didn't dine in because we were trying to prepare for an event but I'm kind of glad we didn't. It's small and dark inside, and I felt like the tables were too close together. But they made up for it all with an AMAZING breakfast. I got the gyro skillet. Absolutely delicious!! The picture does it absolutely no justice.. I never thought of gyro as a breakfast item and now I know I need it often. There were huge portions of meat and amazing tzatziki sauce and nobody will ever call them stingy with the cheese because for every bite I got delicious feta cheese chunks mixed in. It was amazing. The pancakes were basic, there was nothing wrong with them but I'm not going to reminisce on them. But that gyro skillet!!! I can't wait to get it again“

“We catered for a birthday with 20+ guests last weekend. We met with Holly prior to ordering to discuss the size of the trays, amount of food needed, and both VG and GF options. She was very friendly and helpful. Our order was ready, warm, and complete when we picked it up. The amount of food was perfect and everyone in attendance thought all of the food was delicious and included great variety. Would do this again! “Very helpful staff. We were visiting from out of town and hadn’t an infant that was growing hungry and grumpy. Staff were quick to assist and offered a bowl of rice and cucumber salad for our infant. They also went above and beyond and boiled water for our newborn so we can mix formula on the go! They also have a very nice children’s menu - my son loves the silver dollar pancakes. “I was nearby running an errand when I spotted this place and took a chance and it paid off. The chicken shawarma sandwich was delicious. It took sometime to make but was really tasty and fries were crispy and hot! The lady took care of my famished tummy and was very sweet to talk to. Highly recommend it if you’re around.“

“I came here on a Sunday morning and was pleased with the service and food! My friend and I got seated within 10 mins and decided to split a savory and sweet option. The portobello mushroom focaccia was cooked very well and the portobello itself was very tender and paired well with the peppers and balsamic vinaigrette inside. My favorite item personally is the nutty Nutella waffle, but you should def come in with a sweet tooth if you plan on ordering it:)“

I appreciate that unlike other restaurants that try to give you the minimal amount of sauce, Sultan keeps squeeze bottle available for their two sauces. Sultan remains as one of my go-to restaurants.“

“I took my mom here for lunch. We were surprised by the service and quality. It wasn't what we expected for a restaurant inside the mall. We had a margarita (excellent), lobster bisque, spinach and artichoke appetizer and salmon. It was delicious! The dessert was even better!! We recommend the red velvet cupcake and lemon ricotta cookie. We just wish they had cappuccino. They only serve regular coffee.“

“Place was old school with workers who have been there for several years. It was fun to listen to the old timers banter each other and the regulars. The food was okay, not the traditional gyro but huge portions of meat and onions if that’s what you’re looking for.“
