“I'm from the area, so I've been going to this Wendy's my whole life, and have a feel of the foods overall quality. Anyways, to get to the point, after undergoing recent renovations both externally and internally, the restaurant has been given a fresh new modern look to match all other restaurants in the area. I went inside to order my food in order to see the new environment, and all looked clean and tidy. It took a few minutes for the employee to take the order because they tend to prioritize the drive-through, which happened to be packed. Everything was in order with my food (a bacon double stack biggie bag and a baconator with ghost pepper ranch). I sat down to eat at a table and it was clean, with an employee walking around cleaning surrounding tables.”
“Today is end to the Burger King and I was given speedy service and the person at the window was very polite. I was shorted a fry so I called and the person who answered the phone who I presume was the Maneger apologized and rectified the problem. They were all very kind and seemed like they actually cared. 10/10 will definitely be coming back.”
“I want to take the opportunity to let everybody know that visiting this restaurant for the first time exceeded my expectations. Everything from the Customer Service to the GREAT food they have to offer. They really take this to the next level in going above and beyond to ensure all the customers are happy and satisfied with the overall service and the food. I honestly don’t see that a lot nowadays, THANK YOU and keep up the great work. There’s a reason why I came back again!”
“It’s a great restaurant with very good and tasty food. The ambience, decoration, seats, and tables gives you feeling of piece. The owner looks out for customer's needs. He even gave us complimentary Bakalavas.”
“Last night started off a little rocky (20 minute wait after reserving 3 weeks in advance, first table offered was a high top in the noisy bar). Then the professional and polite service kicked into overdrive, and resulted in an exceptional experience. Neil (a manager) and Fernando (our server) were both extremely attentive. A perfect martini to start. The crispy lobster and shishitos appetizer was great. Wedge was a little dry. The filet was perfect, as was the spicy crab Campanelle. The key lime was a little too tart, but the butterscotch sundae was great. What made the evening, however, was the friendly and professional service. Will definitely return.”
“Just had a very tasty and healthy lunch with my husband. The house burger was yummy, the tortilla soup was really tasty and the Cobb salad was amazing! The dressing is homemade and really good! It’s a family owned restaurant and everyone is really nice and carrying!! There is also plenty of parking in the plaza. High recommended!”
“We are from WI and found Big Ed's because it was close to the hotel we stayed at. Unfortunately they we out of a few favorites but we found others and all 3 meals were outstanding. I had a full rack of ribs which were amazing and the wings were just as good. Service was great and super friendly...every employee was helpful and had smiles on their faces. Love the mom and pop local family business and already planning trips back to try the favorites they were out of as well as past the word on to everyone we know that loves BBQ. Well worth the hour drive!”
“We tried this place for the first time. We needed a sourdough baguette. We also picked up pastries and drinks there. Everything was very good. The almond croissant was delicious.”
“Impeccable. Fantastic. Bussin'.You haven't had fried chicken like the Korean Fried Chicken served here. It definitely rivals American Southern Style. The food is so good we ordered some to go right after our meal. A great choice for Sunday night football or a guys night in gaming. Ladies, I don't know what y'all do.I got the Red Hot Pepper Chicken. The heat slowly builds while you chew, but is mellowed by a light sweetness at the beginning of every bite, making you want more.My girl got the Lemon Green Onion. The touch of citrus went really well with the mellow sweetness of the sauce leaving an almost fresh taste to a fried dish.Caring, enthusiastic and energetic Owner followed by kind and attentive wait staff.Seriously, homie is all over the place (in a good way). Behind the counter and at the table face to face; his interaction with us was comical and heartwarming. He went through the whole menu (large selection) and explained the varieties of fried chicken, recommended sauces, and alternative dishes if chicken ain't for you, nerds.Vegetarian options: I think it's hilarious to recommend a fried chicken restaurant to vegetarians. So yes, please come here. There are some options for y'all but not a lot. Mostly potato related items, cheese dishes if your diet allows it and Korean pancakes (savory). Seafood?Sincerely, good luck.Parking: It's a ducking mall dude. There is plenty of parking. To be closest, go off of Hawthorn Ctr. Northern side of mall.Google maps itKid-friendliness: Very understanding and patient staff to otherwise undeserving patrons.Cute kid running around, wrong place to do it though. Unbothered parents, specifically an entitled mom who says "oh, he's fine" until he slips and bust his head or breaks the expensive ? service robot they have. This lady had the huevos ? to give the dude attitude when he points out the kid chasing down Mr. Roboto and then is at the shop exit. She said "maybe we'll just leave" ?Bro, this is not "your village", it's a fried chicken chateau ?, raise your damn kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Yurrr. Y'all can roll up easy once inside. They can move some chairs aside. I got no smoke for y'all, I don't wanna get cancelled. But we can all agree we don't like vegetarians.I'm just kidding, grazers.”
“"I had a wonderful dining experience at Everett Farm Food! The food was amazing, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The service was excellent, with fast and attentive waitstaff. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal!"”
“Every time I am in the area, I search out Inovasi for lunch or dinner. The selections are great and the food delicious. I always eat in the bar area - great views and fun atmosphere. I am a fan of the Shrimp and Grits.”
“Margo made our night. She helped me choose my entree and anticipated out every need. Food is also legitimate Italian and supremely delicious. Dont pass this place up for garbage Italian.Parking: Free, street parking.”
“This is our favorite restaurant in Vernon Hills, and we come here frequently. Our recent dinner was a business dinner with a number of my colleagues and it was a great venue for the group to try new wines, taste delicious appetizers and enjoy great Indian-fusion entrees in an inviting space with great ambiance.”
“Friendly owners and staff. Cozy atmosphere inside. Food is always consistently good in our experiences. Our favorites are the chicken salad sandwiches and bread pudding.”
“My family visited back in January. I live several states away. It was so good, I am looking forward to revisiting to enjoy another incredible meal next time I’m in town!”
“First time at Tonality. Early dinner. Molly was our server and had 2 excellent reco's. For me it was the Gnocchi which was a plate cleaner. The combo of gnocchi with mushroom and asparagus was smart. The sauce was lemony and tasted a bit like vinegar which I liked. My wife had the pork Schnitzel with spatzel. The breading was dark and tasty. The portion was huge. She loved it. I had a tasty Amber Ale with dinner. Cool brewery atmosphere in an open space. Highly recommend.”
“I came here to dine in. The restaurant is very nice inside well managed and clean. The cultural decorations give it a nice atmosphere. What made it even better was the General Tso's chicken!”
“After growing up within the Latino community, eating authentic Mexican dishes, and learning how to cook within that community, I'm pretty particular about the Mexican food establishments I give my hard-earned cash to, because I know what good Mexican food is and it is often not what you get...Cinco Hermanos gets my money happily! As such, I often have certain requests that may not be on a menu, but I know are doable, based on my knowledge of Mexican cuisine. Not only do they happily receive my request during my phone order, the request is always executed correctly and to my liking. My husband doesn't like certain things in his burrito, and when ordering from other places, those things were either in there, or replaced with other "fillers." He orders the same exact thing every time, so he has often been disappointed...and his requests are easy like no lettuce and no rice inside the burrito...no biggie, right? The first time we ordered the way my hubby likes his burrito, from Cinco Hermanos, not only did they get the order right, they added some extra meat in the burrito as the "filler." That's customer service and attention to detail right there!I love that their tacos ARE NOT GREASY!! We love tacos al pastor, but they are often bathing in grease, which is actually just laziness on the cook's part...I know, because I make them at home, often. I usually don't like to order carryout tacos as a result, because they arrive home soggy and greasy...NOT the experience I've had at Cinco Hermanos! The tortillas rarely have any extra grease on them and the meat is the same. Any tacos I've ever ordered from them arrive home intact, non-soggy, and as delicious as if they were just prepared in my own kitchen!I also really enjoy their green salsa...it tastes like homemade. You can tell that they used fresh ingredients and that it was made in smaller batches. It's hard to explain, but trust me when I say it is one of the best green salsas I've ever had, including some homemade authentic versions. It's a little warmer than most, so be prepared for that, but it is crave-able!If you're looking for a stellar caldo de res, this is the place! Not only did it taste like the thousands of caldo's I've enjoyed in Mexican kitchens over my lifetime, it was served the way you'd be served in said kitchen...plenty of meat and veggies in that delicious broth! My typical experience ordering caldo to-go, is a container with a lot of broth, one or two small pieces of meat, one small carrot, more cabbage than anything, and half a potato...not even enough meat to make a decent taco to eat with the broth. I ordered this one weekend I was sick, and let me tell you, it hit ALL the right spots! Rich broth with an abundance of meat and veggies...exactly the way it would be served in my home kitchen. I was floored when I opened the container and saw it, and then more pleasantly surprised when I tasted it...perfection! Just know that it's only available on weekends and totally worth the wait! Oh, and one of my requests, LOTS of limes, was absolutely fulfilled, happily. Hats off to this place for great customer service!I've not had one thing on the menu that has displeased me, nor has my husband. Not one.Not only is the food delicious, the service is impeccable. I have certain requests when I order carryout, not excessive by any means, just certain things we prefer, like only green salsa and no plastic utensils necessary. At other places we've ordered, 8 out of 10 times, there's a bunch of red salsa in the bag - along with the green - and a bunch of plastic forks that end up in our garbage can. EVERY SINGLE TIME we order from Cinco Hermanos, the instructions are followed to a T, which tells me that they're good business people and not throwing their money in our garbage can. As a business person, I find that smart, admirable, and a likely indicator of how they run their business on every level. Here's a good "tell" if a Mexican restaurant ”
“Absolutely love this place! I had no idea it was 100% Gluten Free, when searching for Gluten-free restaurants, this one doesn’t show up. But because it’s entirely GF, it would be awesome to add this to the Google Business account so it appears on searches.Vegetarian options: Tons of delicious veggie options.Dietary restrictions: 100% Gluten Free, options for every diet.Kid-friendliness: Great food that kids love!”
“The chicken was tasty, however, it's a bit of a nuisance that the smallest amount of chicken you can buy is a 10 piece. EVERY fried chicken place in the world have 2+ chicken combos. No 1 person can eat 10 pieces of chicken in 1 setting, true, the chicken can be taken home, however, for out of towners (which they get a lot of) can not. They should serve combos like other spots, they'll make more money.Update: ok, so after driving from Chicago back to Michigan, I realized a few things. 1. The "wings" weren't wings, they were actually wing dings, and the thought of eating 10 wings just for myself was outrageous, however, I am kicking myself, because I could have totally eaten 10 of those wing dings. I got the chicken around 1145 am, got home close to 8pm, and those buggers were still crunchy, yes CRUNCHY. I popped them in the air fryer and they were DELICIOUS. Best wing dings I've ever eaten in my life! Get the 10 wing dings, you will eat every one. I got the Galbi spicy ?. Even the pickled radishes were fresh and delicious. 5 out of 5 for me, and I dont even like chicken like that.”
“I had been told to come check out this place since it's opening and tonight I found myself with nowhere to be for a bit and early enough to catch them before they closed. I spent a good deal of time deciding what I was going to order (because it all sounded amazing!) and the owner kept checking on me (but not in a pushy way) and I finally decided on the Cheeze burger and the berry smoothie. The first sip was perfection, and it only got better from there. I waited just 2 or 3 minutes more and my burger was ready. Spent a short time in conversation with the owner, and even before biting into the burger, I knew I'd be back as soon as my schedule allowed. Great customer service, phenomenal food and a calming, beautiful atmosphere. Don't sleep on this place, people! 10 out of 10.”
“Far better than your average greasy food taquiria. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful. I ordered an El pastor taco. I usually do flour tortillas instead of corn but since they make the latter in house chose that instead. 100% the correct decision. Never had a corn tortilla so fresh and tasty. The pork wasn't greasy and had superior flavor. On a whim also ordered the Korean taco with bulgogi spices and cabbage slaw. AMAZING flavor and texture. Got a carne asada burrito for my wife. You can tell they use superior Angus beef..it was top Notch in flavor and consistency.HIGHLY recommend this eatery. Will be back whenever I'm in the area.Parking: Easy.”
“The food, atmosphere, and customer service are phenomenal. I am incredibly excited to keep coming back. This is a new favorite!Vegetarian options: There are veggie and Paneer options which are a breath of fresh air and add options.”
“It's not too often you stumble onto a hidden gem that just so happens to be out in the open on Lewis Ave. just south of 21st St. in Zion IL.Just a few minutes northeast from my house in Beach Park, can't believe it took me until this past November to finally stop in.Been longing to give them a try for months now but I guess when you work full time overnight and come in early 2-4hrs prior to your shift start most nights and only have every other wknd off to be with your family; can make it difficult to try new places. It was on a Saturday late morning when I was out doing some errands and I knew my wife didn't wanna go out with our boys till late afternoon. I didn't have breakfast yet and I took the opportunity for an early lunch knowing they were about to open at 11am.I was starving and after browsing the menu shortly after walking in and being greeted by I'm guessing the owner/co-owner, went with the bacon cheeseburger and an order of teriyaki chicken fries and both were phenomenal. The burger did come with fries already so consider the fact that if you order anything that's Supreme fries, is a meal in itself. The man gave me a complimentary small order of funnel cake sticks which I kindly thanked him for which were heavenly.Simply amazing, great tasting food at still reasonable prices with friendly service in a cozy setting. The dining area is relatively small which is no biggie and I had the place to myself but I'm guessing they get flooded with take-out orders during the week.On Google they're labeled as a hamburger restaurant but Supreme Fries & More will put just about anything on a bed of fries. Normally you hear about chili cheese fries, bacon ranch cheese fries, Philly cheese and Gyro fries but this venue takes it to a whole different level and that's awesome. The next time I come back, I'll definitely try something different and each visit after. This place is a real gem and the residents of Zion are lucky to have them. I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).”
“It's a very nice little place. We felt welcome for our party of 8. The carne asada fries are bomb. Also their mixed drinks have a lot to cater to your taste. I'm a fan of mezcal and they had plenty here. Also tried their smash burger and had a few 3 floyd beers. Staff was always attentive and friendly. I'd come here again to hangout for the reasonably priced menu and location.”
“Incredible authentic Philly cheesesteaks. Beyond that, the service is awesome too - the owner/staff are so friendly and attentive. This has quickly become one of my go-to spots. 10/10 would recommend.”
“This place has the best corn beef and pastrami sandwich. I eat here more times than I should and I eat 2 sandwiches when I should be eating one. You gotta try "The Yummy". Hot Corn beef, pastrami, cheese, horseradish, mustard, on rye.”
“Great vibe, good people, amazing Baristas. Drinks are always consistent and delicious! Plus, you are supporting local small businesses. Check them out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.”
“Ordered thin crust pizza and it was great. It's nice to have this location and pizza place back. Ask that we all get the word out this is open as it is really good Give it a try!”
“They're usually very good with my orders. But last week I wanted some weird food and went there, nut only did they make me pull over and wait The Food Was Raw inside. Took it back they didn't even apologize the manager got the food, waited again! They came out with it no eye contact just asked if that was all.”
