WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER!I would give 0 if it were an option. I ordered chili here and there was a foreign object in it that BROKE about 1/6 of my tooth off!! I went to dentist, found out it was going to cost me $1600 to fix tooth so I contacted management who PRETENDED to be Cooperative and then suddenly just quit responding all together! I hired a lawyer who waited a year before backing out so I contacted the insurance contact myself who then gave me the run around and stopped answering also! Is it really to much to ask for them to take responsibility for their screw up?? I didn't ask for a dime over the cost to repair the tooth despite the amount of pain and suffering I endured (even during a family members celebration of life!) due to their negligence, provided photo evidence, had a witness, and they refused to take responsibility!!WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Wheelchair accessibility: Good parking spots and easy to get inside. Pretty good size pothole pulling into the parking lot. Have to be careful driving over/around it.

The food was pretty good. Once you place order at the kiosk, it didn't take long for them to complete your order. Their condiment, cup, and silverware counter left a lot to be improved upon, for sure! Getting someone's attention who actually works there is not an easy task either. Also, if you dine in and want to take your extra food home, you may end up taking many more bags than you should need, because they only have small sandwich styrophome boxes to put food in. The design of the restaurant was nice, though, and the other patrons were friendly. The best thing about this restaurant, I thought, were the milkshakes... The worst thing by far are their outrageous prices. $40 for two people is absolutely insane for a place with no table service, and a self-service condiment bar that was empty!!!

This made me feel sick. The guy at the drive thru had long black painted and pointed fingernails. I'm sure they are dirty and disgusting and full of germs handling food. I complained before but to no avail. Please stop that. This is the way your company wants to be represented. You lost us

Probably had I known that we didn't have servers anymore at steak and shake and we had to order at the kiosk I probably would have thought twice about stopping in. The fries were cold the bacon cheeseburger was average at best and the shake came in a carry-out cup, well I wanted to have a nice steak and shake experience it turned out to be less than fast food.
Use to love Steak n Shake. Nit worth the hassle to eat here. Love to come I. Be waited on, now order on machine. First time here since change and my last.
Honestly the place is disgusting, employees just standing around on the phone with tables absolutely disgusting smeared with sauce, trash all over the place, I had to clean a table to even have a seat nobody looked or even said hello soon entering , my order was made perfectly how ever besides my shake missing its extra cherry then the man arguing a bit with me over it instead of just making it correct. I understand being busy and having these issues, we were the only customers at the time. The place even had black seats from peoples feet being on them and let’s not talk about the disgusting bathrooms, honestly it was disrespectful to the business its self. Doesn’t represent the look of the company or the employees who actually do their job, out of the entire crew I seen 2 people even wiping down their station and keeping busy during down time. I understand taking a breather but just representing your own work ethic this way just made me loose my appetite in general. I’m hoping for a better experience next time. I loved eating at this place back when I was a kid.

Very unfriendly, use of kiosk to order inside, no waitresses, cleaning staff, register. Turned into a workaraunt. They don't even bring the food out anymore, they call a number and you come pick it up. Is this the new way of the world? Oh, here, get your own drinks. Good thing food is still good.
