“Fantastic food with great portion sizes, the Miso and Seaweed soup are delicious, ginger salad is amazing, and the traditional bowl is filling. Their treats are a perfect dessert after the meal. Highly recommended for a healthy place to eat that will fill you up but won’t weigh you down!“

“Our family of four are regulars at Mr Kimchi. We love coming here for weekend dinners. This is a definite go to place when our boys come home from college. They crave Korean BBQ and the tofu soup/bean paste soup from here. Our waiter “Key” is very friendly and acknowledges our family every time we visit. He is always on top of it all when it comes to serving our table. We love coming here.“

“i've been here a handful of times now and always have such a pleasant experience. service: friendly and prompt. they are quick to greet you at the door and offer help with any questions. there is a self serve water station towards the middle of the restaurant restaurant is small and not too many tables but each time i've gone there wasn't many people. food: everything i order here is so good. they have a very extensive meal and also have added more it seems -bulgogi fries: must add the kimchi. it's so good! ask for no ketchup though.. felt like it would have been better without it -assortment of makis and kimbops: i can't choose, whichever one ive gotten has been so good -fried chicken: super crunchy! everything about my meals have been so good! highly recommend!“

“Give this place a try when we are around the area. There are many kinds of flavors for us to choose. Since we have kid with us, we decided to try the non-spicy ones. We ordered Honey mustard, original, soy, chili and honey wings. They are crispy and delicious. Foods tasted delicious. Super fast and great customer service. Highly recommend!“

“This is definitely the best Korean Gastro Pub I've ever been to. Great food with reasonable price. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. We had their Pork Bossam and squid salad with noodle. Come early or really late cause this place is busy during dining hour and parking can be difficult. The staff is always on top of everything, very fast and attentive, always ready to welcome you with a smile. The atmosphere is so authentic and really makes you feel like you are at a pub in Korea! Love this place and will continue to be a frequent customer, highly recommend! Nice place to hang out with friends and family. Thank you, New Village Gastro Pub!“

“This place is a great place for casual eating! I love getting the seasonal Kong Guksu (cold bean noodles), and the Tteokbokki was such a hit amongst my friends and family! The food was also very fresh and had lots of different flavor profiles. Delicious and healthy Korean food in the neighborhood. Truly a gem in Korean food scene. Staff is incredibly polite and kind and the food is, as they claim in their website, authentic. It is just like home made cooking I remember and all ingredients are super fresh. The interior is adorable and very well coordinated. Highly recommend coming here if you're interested in trying Korean cuisine. I will be back to try more. I'm already recommending to friends and family.“

“Harmony Coffee Bar in Highland Park is a delightful gem tucked away in the heart of the neighborhood. The space exudes warmth and coziness, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. What truly sets this cafe apart, however, is the genuine hospitality of the owners. They go above and beyond to make every customer feel welcome and appreciated. As for the menu, it's a delightful array of delicious drinks and snacks that never disappoint. From expertly crafted coffees to tempting treats, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Supporting small businesses like Harmony Coffee Bar is not only a pleasure but a way to invest in the local community. “this is my first Yelp review, I just had to say some good words about this place. my friends and I came in after a long day around 8:20 and the man at the counter was very nice, he said if our food comes out late we can stay like 10 minutes after they close. we left before they closed at 9 since the food came out quickly but his gesture was very kind, and the food was delicious. wonderful vibe and polite staff, I felt very welcomed. thank you so much for your kindness :)“

“Manna is comfort food at its peak. My bf and I found this restaurant when we were exploring the burbs and it left us happy all day long. Service: - Service was super quick and all the aunties were so sweet. They were really attentive throughout the entire time that we were there. - We really really loved the side dishes and we were so nervous to ask for more but they gave us extra because they saw how much we liked it. And as starving college students, that means the whole world. Food: - We got their Gamjatang (Spicy Pork Bone Soup) for both of us and honestly, the serving was more than enough. We didn't expect to both feel full but there was so much meat in combination with the veggies and rice and we were both beyond satisfied. - Broth was really rich and there was such a deep flavor with every bite. We drank the entire thing until there was nothing left. - Side dishes were not just sides in this meal. I loved that there was such a large variety of options that were offered. Our favorites were the pickled seaweeds (I swear its the best that I have ever had) and the Kimchi radish. Ambiance: - This spot is tucked away in the suburbs and it feels just like that. The interior is designed as if you were in your grandmother's home. While we were there, we saw a group of dads, uncles, and grandpas just gathering to have a meal. And it was just so heartwarming to see and this spot is the perfect spot for family and friends gathering. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely be a regular.“

“All food we ordered is made with care. The budijigae’s flavor and the aesthetics; the cost is cheap and filling for two people. We also ordered the sweet oriental and spicy chicken wings that came with a choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing dipping sauce. The wings were sooo crispy and crunched under each bite and were also super flavorful. We also ordered the tonkatsu burger with fried eggs and it came with super crispy tater tots. Everything was delicious and went well with the peach beer ordered. We will come again!“

“Do yourself a favor and grab some friends for karaoke and Korean food at AGIT. A group of us went on a Saturday night and we had a karaoke room for 2hrs. Depending on the size of your group they may add a few chairs in so everyone can fit. Once you're in your room you can start with the karaoke session and in the corner of the TV tells you how much time you have left of your session. They also have instructions on the wall for how to use the remote to choose songs and how to use the control. You can press a button and a staff member will come and wait on you. We ordered a handful of stuff to share family style. We had the bulgogi, fried chicken, seafood pancake, tteokbokk. There was plenty of food to go around and everything I ate was enjoyable. It was so much fun being in a private room and eating delicious food. I wish they would have had plates instead of the paper boats because you can't fit much in the boat and maybe some serving untensils for the dishes. But minor things I could look past. They are located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking avaliable.“

“This place is NUMBER ONE! Came to Illinois for a convention, was recommended this place by a few friends and holy cow, I'm not gonna be able to eat chicken from anywhere else for awhile! “Long overdue review of THE best korean bbq in all of Chicago. Pretty much everything is good but the galbi and spicy pork are the best of the bunch. I make a trip down from the city at least once every two weeks for the food here. Aside from the food, the service is also great, with everyone very welcoming whenever we go. Went again today. Will probably go again next week.“

“We ordered chicken noodle soup, letting the waiter know that we were going to share. They thoughtfully split our order into two bowls and even gave us a little extra. The chicken noodle soup was delicious! The noodles were cooked perfectly, not too hard and not too soft. The broth was comforting, and the chicken and ingredients tasted fresh. It really was the best chicken noodle soup I've ever tried. The service was great too. We'll definitely be back again.“

“During many of my reviews, I left my camera bag on the restaurant floor because I didn't want to disrupt their business by pulling up a chair for another table. However, the server here gave me an extra chair and took care of my camera bag. I've never experienced such hospitality in a restaurant before. And when I needed something, all I had to do was raise my hand, and the server would come over to me. -Seafood Jjampong Stew: It was really good. However, I wish they had more seafood. -Oden Soup: it was on the house. Even my daughter, a picky eater, said it was excellent. My personal opinion is that the service was top notch and the flavors were good enough to give this place a 5 star review. If you're a fan of Korean food, this is a must-visit on your next trip to Chicago.“

“I have tried a few things here but my go to is the Dolsot Bibimbap, always great and satisfying. The side dishes are always to my liking, they vary from visit to visit, and that is ok with me. Prices have come up but are reasonable. I am often the only or one of the few customers who does not speak Korean there. It is not a fancy restaurant so prepare your expectations for a more relaxed, casual, almost street food style, dining experience.“

“Really delicious food, and plenty of it! I ordered the goat soup, which is a big bowl of soup to begin with, and it came with rice, kimchi, and a turnip(?). I was not a fan of the turnip, but the kimchi was delicious, and I really liked the rice and soup together. The vibe here is very much that of a food court inside a mall, because that's what it is. There are mall noises, at least two different kinds of music playing from different directions, shoppers walking by. You order, get your food at counter, and bring your tray back to the same counter when you're finished. The cashier at the counter is friendly and polite. Get the goat soup! You'll be glad you did!“

“This is a decent and authentic Korean restaurant in Katy. The food quality is fairly high. I tried stone pot spicy squid bibimbap and spicy pork soup for lunch. The former is superb and very delicious. The squid tastes fresh. Highly recommended. The second meal is less impressive. The pork is tough to chew and a bit tasteless. The soup also tastes too watery and lacks a rich flavour.Almost all customers are Koreans. Perhaps for this reason the waitress also assumes that I am a Korean. Funny that when she found out that I don’t speak Korean she immediately held back her smile. This does not seem like a great service.“

Marinated very well and tasted great with the salad/veggies that they made! The side dishes tasted amazing and they kept refilling! The service was also incredible. The owners are a lovely Korean couple and they really did a great job to welcome us. They even learned the name of our daughter and brought a croissant from the back for her to eat! They kept saying hi to our daughter during the meal and trying to play with her and engage her. When we left the came to the door to say goodbye to our daughter and us.Definitely 10/10 experience overall. We will be back!“

“Korean Spoon is low key excellent! It is a small hole in the wall in a small strip, and while their business is largely catering, they do offer dine-in (Tue-Fri: 11am-2pm). There are also prepared side dishes and foods, like various kimbab and Korean pancakes you can pick up and go. There are traditional soups/stews and Korean entrees/snacks offered. The yukgaejang and kalguksu are very good. While most other Korean restaurants in the area have raised prices and cut back on protein/portions, Korean Spoon continues to offer quality food at comparable prices. The owner is very kind and courteous. Really great place for down to earth homestyle Korean cooking and wish they had more dine-in hours. Check them out!“

“I really like this restaurant. I don't know why because I can't particularly say the food is the best Korean food or that they have the best service or anything but something about it is just really nice if you want a humble Korean meal. The price is pretty reasonable for the food you're getting and there has never been anything I didn't like. The service is just okay. It's typical Korean service, sometime they're nice, sometimes they're not. But they were really understanding when we went with a bunch of babies that were loud and messy. My go to dish is the soojaebi, which I don't like paying for since I make a really good version at home very easily, but I feel like something about this place is just worth it. Definitely a place worth checking out if you like Korean food but don't like making it yourself.“

“I love this place so much. The lady who runs the place is super nice and prices are very reasonable. Compared to some of the other waits for restaurants at Mitsuwa Mama House is one of the quickest to get food from. There is almost always no line and you can get your food within 5 minutes. “A nice hole in the wall Korean restaurant. It's surprisingly very spacious inside and very homey. It's close to my place but first time checking it out! I ordered the gamja tang which is a soup made made with pork back bone and vegetables. It was tasty. Lots of big chunks of meat. My dad ordered the kal gooksoo, noodle soup with clams and vegetables. My brother ordered the sul lung tang, beef bone broth with thin slice beef, noodles, and green onions. I got to try a bit of their orders and everything was tasty. The 6 side dishes they bring out are also tasty. We naturally spoke to the server in Korean. She was very attentive and sweet. Prices are reasonable. It's nothing mind blowing but a place I'd recommend if you want some simple yet solid Korean food.“
