“Wife and I had tonight's pork tenderloin special. Ordered mine with crispy fries and wasn't disappointed. Wife had chili as her side and must say it was pleasantly surprising with just the right amount of spices for flavor. Awesome staff that ensured our drinks were always topped off. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning again!!!“
“Service fine & seating comfortable. They accomodated me on Weds, as ONLY have Mexican tacos/burritos/? & the peppers are already in meat sauces. (Drank water as driving, so cant judge drinks) Waitress reqtd cubed chicken breast w no sauce for me @ luncheon & cook prepared it. (Thx!)I'll need to try it M-T-Th-F to try other choices.“
“Came for lunch and the place was empty, but the waitress told us to come back after ten when the place is rocking. We didn't but I believe her. First thing you see as you walk in is a sign saying all purses will be inspected. Another said no firearms. How rowdy I can only imagine. The place is big and a music stage looks serious. The food was quite tasty. I had the Alamo burger and it had to be four inches thick, at least. I could barely get my mouth around it. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich that was equally as big. Texas size we called it. She loved it. Breaded mushrooms were cooked perfect. Bar menu was extensive and the server uber friendly. P.S. they have slots in the back. Speaking of Texas size, my beer selection was about a foot tall. Largest glass of beer I've ever seen and a nice surprise.“
“Went for the grilled chicken Philly & OMG was that just the tastiest sammy!! Hoagie was warm & soft, chicken grilled to perfection. Mom got the Southwest Egg rolls, which were hot, crispy & soo flavorful! “Friend recommended this place & grateful he did. Food was amazing, we had Philly cheesesteaks & fries with the crazy good secret recipe dipping sauce. Bartender was really friendly & attentive. “Been eating at this place since a kid and it brings life to the Nelson locals, the staff is friendly and treats everyone like family, the owner is always in the establishment always checking in on everyone as well as making sure everyone walks out with a smile, I’ve seen negative reviews and I can say with confidence the people leaving negative reviews are not being honest, you get fresh quality food for a very fair price, this place gets packed sometimes so the wait is a little longer then people expect but everything is being made fresh to order, I have some issues with my orders that have been happening more frequently like my fries being soggy and undercooked or my chicken being tuff and overcooked but it’s not very common but still disappointing other then that I have nothing to complain about, come in with patience and a empty stomach and leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face“
“I decided to stop here for lunch while I was in town for work today. They had pretty good reviews so I decided to check them out. The outside of the building looks more modern than the inside however, the inside of the building is well-maintained and clean. I did not order any alcoholic beverages, but they seemed to have many different cocktail options as well as many long necks and tap available. They also had some delicious looking cheesecake but I did not try any. I ended up ordering the pecan bacon-bourbon smash burger w/fries. The burger and fries were aesthetically pleasing and looked to be exactly what I ordered. The burger was very flavorful, and tasted like a true smash burger. The bourbon sauce on the burger actually tasted like bourbon, unlike some places who a faint Flavor of bourbon. The bacon, grilled onions, and French onions went well together. Although the Burger Was very good It was a little much for me. Sometimes less is more. The Fries were surprisingly very crunchy and seasoned very well! I’m not usually a french fry girl, but these fries were a 10 out of 10. Lastly, I definitely want to shout out the server. I did not catch her name, however, she was working on April 10th, during The lunch hour. She was very courteous and made sure that I had what I needed. Her customer service alone is what prompted a five star rating from me. All in all, when I visit Sterling again, I Will definitely keep this place in mind.“
“A friend recommended the burgers here and said there was outdoor seating, so since it was a beautiful Friday evening, we decided to give it a try. This little casual place is right along the Rock River out in the middle of the countryside. The gravel parking was plentiful but chaotic. There is also a boat dock if you want to.This is a cash only establishment, we did not know this when we decided to go, but luckily, it wasn't a problem for us this evening. There was live music being played with several people dancing to it.As I mentioned, you may dine inside or outside on the patio under umbrellas at picnic tables. We were unclear if you ordered at the table or inside, but eventually, a waitress came out and said you could order at the table or order inside, and they would bring it out. Our server was outstanding. She had many tables and did fantastic making sure everyone was well taken care of.The menu was pretty varied, and everything that was ordered at our table was enjoyed by those who ordered it. We started with drinks and an appetizer platter, they were both very good. The burger was very good and served with your choice of toppings and sides. we ordered the fresh fruit, and it didn't disappoint as it was fresh and cold. Someone ordered a chicken wrap. It was very good with unique flavors. We ordered the beef taco salad and it didn't disappoint.We will definitely go back and try a couple of the other things on the menu.“
“I did a Google search for places that served food near me. I don't live close so wasn't sure what was offered in the area. I'm happy I tried Shooters. It seemed like a nice bar. The way it was set up was very nice and the burgers were very good. I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in the area.“

“Three of us stopped in for a late lunch. We got EXCELLENT service from the bartender. I got the toasted ravioli, my comrades had a burger and the pulled pork sammich. All very good. Tip? Ask for a tiny bit extra BBQ sauce with pulled pork and extra marinara for the ravioli.“
