“Amazing soul food all made fresh and love into the food! I’ve been coming here for decades since my son was little and would clear his plate plus my sis plus my leftovers! I love her breakfast meals! I love getting her vegetable platters and the chicken oh my!!!“
“We had a great experience at Duck Creek Pancake House. Our server was a very friendly and attentive young man. He genuinely seemed to enjoy his job and was great at it! Our breakfast was ready super fast and everything about it was delicious and perfectly prepared.“
“For my first time being to this restaurant, I am very impressed. I ordered the fish and chips and they were absolutely phenomenal! They have a great house made ranch that is very good along with a fairly good bar. I had great service and a great experience.“
“Best bar in Davenport by far. Fresh cocktails are perfect if you want something that is sweet but not sugary; quality is something you would expect at a high end bar in a major city. Great prices too. If you are out of town or local would highly recommend.“
“We were seated very quickly and the waitress came out in about 5 minutes, took our drink order, brought it in about 10 but NEVER seen her again. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we asked for a new server. They moved us to a new server and he was fantastic (wish I could remember his name). The sad part is the waitress didn’t have many tables and just kept disappearing. Anyways, she lost out on a $65 dollar tip. My husband had the meatloaf and said it was horrible!!! And he eats anything! River House has gone downhill since we were last there about year and half ago. No wonder they weren’t that busy last night and we got seated immediately“
“Only good thing about this place is the view. Went last night to celebrate a birthday and I spent more time waiting for my beer than being able to sit down and enjoy my time. 10+ minute wait for a beer with only 5 People around the bar is pretty ridiculous. Needless to say I was pretty upset by the end of the night.“
“Quiet, beautiful, airy location was a perfect spot for a late breakfast this morning. My ham and swiss omelette was fantastic, as was the oatmeal with strawberries and blueberries that I was able to substitute in for hash browns and toast. Had a great chat with the server and got some tips on what to check out as I walk around town during my visit. Would definitely stop in here again during lunch or dinner to try something on their regular menu.“
“hidden gem...Unassuming on the outside but charmful inside. Open for business plus food service on Monday so big bonus. Very clean and welcoming staff..kristy the bartender a big standout. There for happy hour and prices can't be beat plus the food was a big surprise..every one, even my picky wife, left singing the praises of Bottoms Up (get the Nachos).“
“Second time that we have stopped in there, and everything was great. Love the old service station theme. The food was incredibly delicious and the service was phenomenal. The energy allows for you to let your hair for a bit. Will definitely be back.Parking: You can park across the street as long as you do not impede the businesses still open.Kid-friendliness: The food will keep’em busy.“
“Well 2 weeks in a row we have come to breakfast and on a Sunday they was walking around filling drinks. BUT TODAY, I had to ask for more coffee and I was almost done eating. And never offered my other half anymore to drink either. It seemed like the waitress was exhausted. At 930 am. Other wise most of the time all is good.“
“Pricing is pretty comparative to other upscale sit down restaurant. My brunch with bottomless drinks was under $50 which included a 20% tip. They do have live music with Sunday brunch so it was a little on the louder side but you could still have a conversation. The food was pretty good, some dishes lacked seasoning but for the most part it was an enjoyable experience!“
“Parking: There are plenty of parking spots. The only reason it would be difficult to find one is because they're so popular.Kid-friendliness: There's a kids menu and they also offer crayons in a coloring placement.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking plentiful. All flat surfaces.“
“The fried okra was to die for and definitely get more than what you pay for. The good her gas always been great. I gave a 3 on service because they forgot my peach cobbler. I tried calling for two days and could never get in touch with anyone, other than that service is great.Esthetically the place doesn’t look like much, but the food makes up for it!!“
“13 of us had reservations for an early Easter family supper. Hostess & waitress were both super nice. Not our first time here. Had a very nice time and the food was delicious. I ordered the Smoked Bisen Meatloaf, my wife had the Seafood Diablo and my father in law had the Bouillabaisse. We all really enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back. My parents had the All you can eat Atlantic Cod. They really enjoyed it as well.“
“Food still has great flavor and like it used to be but our table was sticky, a couple items forgotten, and food was lukewarm. Shakes are still great and corn nuggets.Kid-friendliness: Fun paper cars as their meal basketWheelchair accessibility: No steps“
“Ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes & they came with barely any icing & they were really undercooked! Usually they are the best things ever! Very disappointed. I got the Western Skillet & it was wonderful! Such a large portion, had to take home half, so didn't really miss the pancakes after all. Usually service is great, but it was a little lacking this time.“
