I ordered delivery from Southern Smoke BBQ Pit thru Doordash. As always, the food was AMAZING!!! I can't find better coleslaw or quality BBQ anywhere else in the area!Tonight, they gave me a free piece of the most delicious cake for free!!! I ordered the rib tip dinner and they were so good I couldn’t stop eating them. Service was great and fast. And I love that it’s so close to my neighborhood. This was my first time and I’ll definitely be back.

I recently moved to Rockford and was looking for a good BBQ spot, as I spent the past 8 years in Janesville with no available authentic BBQ. This place is EXCELLENT and reminds me of my childhood living next to a BBQ joint in north Chicago. The tips are TENDER and juicy, and the sauce is spot ON. And the caramel cake is TO DIE FOR!!! ten out of ten for me, and my new go-to BBQ joint. Thanks, y'all!!!
