“We received a gift card for Sonnys and decided to order one their family dinner options that comes with a half pan of whatever pasta and 3 different types of sauce, salad (we upgraded to the Sonnys Chopped salad and we're glad we did), meatballs and bread. The pasta and meat sauce was very tasty but the winner was the meatballs and salad! Super juicy and soft meatballs and the flavor was 🤌 and the salad was so jam packed with flavor and very fresh!! We will definitely be back!!!”

“Great new mexican restaurant to the Roselle area... have eaten in and done carryout. Both times very happy with the food, tacos overfollowing with pork, and the nachos were huge!! My family and I will definitely be a repeat customers! Also, they have great lunch specials!

Kid-friendliness: They have a little menu for kids. Whatever you choose, the meal is served with rice and beans and a drink.”

“Went to La Hacienda de Roselle for lunch/dinner. Best place ever for Mexican food. They give you so much food and it is very inexpensive. The staff there is friendly and you get great service. “Great beers (as usual). Tonight’s review is for the featured “food truck” experience the Counting Crow. Full disclosure, we have never tasted CC prior, although online it looks like they regularly service most of the top Independent craft brewers for some time throughout suburban Chicagoland. Given their excellent reviews, was excited to taste. Nope. Didn’t realize their posted 5-7 limited quantities meant exactly that. By 6:00 pm on a warm busy spring Friday evening, CC was already sold out of 2/3rds of their (flash heated on a table top griddle) menu of Pork belly tacos and Shrimp po’boys (on a Friday, in lent)? Which only left the many hungry to enjoy their signature chicken sandwich (original, medium spicy and extra spicy) served with chips. While the sourcing of their chicken breasts (decent size/texture meaty and fried well) was good, their temperature plated was lukewarm and underwhelming. Maybe a pop up on the patio isn’t the best way to promote your food, Idk. Not a fan and can’t recommend. Definitely won’t go out of my way to sample again”

“To me, Thana Thai beats every other restaurant on the Lake. Everything on the menu is amazing and is super consistent. No matter how you feel about the price, to me it is worth coming back and is becoming my number one place for my favorite dishes. The Thai Fried rice reminds of my favorite place that closed down, and having found Thana Thai has filled a tremendous void.

Do not skip out on this place.

“The garlic beef was delicious. I loved everything we ordered. Fried rice, chicken broccoli, sweet and sour chicken and my absolute favorite garlic beef. Prices are excellent and portions are ample. You could eat in the restaurant but that’s not what this place is all about. It’s a to-go place. They only take cash which is fine by me.

Parking: Strip mall with plenty of parking.”

“My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items! Highly recommend!!”

I know the world is understaffed and she could have easily been frustrated at the never ending line, but she was working so hard and I just thought you deserved to know what a great job she was doing. I just thought she deserved a little shoutout!”

“Our waitress made sure I had mild salsa, super helpful. Being a Vegetarian the Veggie burrito usually is beans and cheese. Not here! Delicious with beans, sweet potatoes, red peppers. Good food for a good price!
