“We took a group of students to Idle Hour Lanes as an incentive trip. From the phone calls setting up the event to our time there was outstanding. They accommodated our availability time, had our students names entered into the scoreboard before we got there and was just overall helpful making this experience for our students fantastic. The students had such a good time, several asked if we could do this field trip again. That is high praise coming from our student population. Thank you Denise and Darrel for setting this up for us.“

“This is a really friendly environment and the staff are very nice here. I visit this place at least twice a month, it's one of my favorites. They have two pool tables at well along with live bands at times, not to sure how often though. A great place to have fun and unwind for sure!“

“My Hubby and I hit the good Ole Brown Pub every now and then and yet, there she issss Msss Amerrric.. ?, okay, back on track ? Trina, LOVE her!!! I honestly don't think I have ever been in a small town like bar and the bartender literally knew just about every single patron that walked in the door, and already cracking that beer before they've chosen their Sweet Spot ? She is the kindest, sweetest, cutest and most attentive bartender, honestly, you'll love her too! The food is absolutely worth your time, so unbelievably DELISH! We have been eating here for years and have never had a bad meal or appetizer! Do NOT pass them by!! ?“

J & K's Half Moon Tavern Sports Bar • $

“It had been many years since my visit to the charming hamlet of Hinkley Illinois. We strapped on the feed bag for an early supper so the crowd was small and the service was great. Rebecca was awesome, knowledgeable and friendly. I had their patty melt which was substantial. The "fried potato salad " had a nice mustardy/vinegary zing and a generous portion of bacon bits mixed in. Loved the Malort light fixtures...at least there is ONE redeeming quality to a bottle of Malort. The ambience is what you'd expect in a small town bar/restaurant . Across from us a couple was sharing a pizza and I tried not to be that creeper guy who stares at your food but, damn it looked really good. We will be back for sure!“
