“I was there last night for the first time for a birthday party. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. I took at peek at the outdoor dinning and it looked so nice and what a view! The bartenders were fabulous! They had karaoke there last night too. Oh, and if you like carrot cake or cheese cake, (I’m sure all the desserts are just as delicious) save room for dessert! I will definitely be coming back.“
“Stumbled across EPH doing a random Google maps search and I'm glad I did! They have an expansive menu of pub foods that surely would satisfy practically anyone. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich with goat cheese on a pretzel bun. The breast was huge and quite tasty. The goat cheese was interesting; not exactly my first choice but I didn't mind the outside my comfort zone choice. I paired it with Cajun fries for the perfect spicy combo. My wife had the Fiesta chicken, minus the bun, which she said she enjoyed. Definitely plan to go back and try more items on the menu.“
“Pizza was good. We ordered Mexican pizza and a margherita pizza. Great ambience. Decorations on this barn converted to restaurant are great with plenty of animals hanging from the walls. Courteous customer service. Would definitely come back here.“
“It’s a pretty neat place to come and stop by for some food and a drink. They had the fire pit going on outside this winter and thought that was cool. Staff there seemed really friendly as well. Lots of people come here from the wedding venue up the street.“
“They need more bands featuring Magoo. Last night was his band, Los Toasters, and they were excellent. Please hire them more as well as Whiskey Jezebel and GoodFoot. The bartenders are attentive and friendly even though it's usually a crowd at the bar and I really live this space now every time I come in“
“We came for the fish fry and it was excellent! It's served how it should be with plenty of fish, french fries, coleslaw and a dinner roll, perfect midwestern comfort food!! If you go on a Friday during lent be sure to get there early for a table ?“
“Baked French Onion soup perfect ✅Cheese Curds with Ranch Dressing - OMG the breading is light and crispy. And the ranch dressing is great (can't put my finger on the pinch making is special) North Avenue Pub Buger- good?North Ave BLT-yummy with applewood ? bacon.“
“I cannot comment on the food yet, but the menu looked better than most bars around, especially when considering the name. I unfortunately showed up right at the tail end of the evening when KARAOKE and the Kitchen were closing. Some people have all of the luck, right? Cheap drinks.“
“The stuffed pizza was very good! The thin crust, IMO, was just good. The service was very good, and the restaurant atmosphere was very good - clean, bright, modern, friendly. A fun and cheerful place to eat with friends and family!Vegetarian options: You can definitely order pizza without meat. There are salads and other options that can be ordered without meat, I believe.Parking: This is located in the Arboretum shopping area so there's plenty of parking.“
“I've been here a couple times, the food is always good. But I think what makes this place stand out to me is the level of service. The wait staff is always attentive and constantly come back to check on you, not in an annoying way, but they have it down to a science it seems. They are never pushy and always friendly. It's a great place for you to be able to hang out with a few friends and grab a drink and a good meal.“
“The food was delicious and they had a very good selection to choose from. We sat in the outdoor area which was very nice. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. I had a pulled pork sandwich topped with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. Yum!“
“Friendly neighborhood older tavern. You can walk in a stranger and leave as a friend. I love the older woodwork and old stained glass lights. Visited a few times recently while staying in the area, and always felt at home. Friendly staff and patrons. Nice older establishment that's worth a visit.“
“I didn’t eat here. I actually got water. They don’t have lemon I was designated driver and they didn’t look down at that. They kept my water cold and brought me more ice. Pretty quiet. Family placeKid-friendliness: Bring something for the kids to do. Tables are huge. Enough for food and a board gameWheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Double doors.Plenty of parking“
“Still the best I drive 45 minutes. On a good traffic day to enjoy this crispy thin crust. Make sure you take advantage of this crispy crust and order it well done. When you walk in the door, there is a service station right to the left. There's always been immediate communication and unless it's packed you never have to wait for a seat. Plenty of room I very much like the ambience Northwoods, theme, and there's something to look at everywhere you go around the room. Sometimes after placing my order, I walk around and do just that to see what's new and was changed.“
“It's a nice place if you wanna just chill out with some friends and play pool. It's never too crowded and the bartenders are usually super nice. Sometimes you'll get the occasional knuckleheads that come in but nothing that's too outrageous. Cool patio outside to hang out on if you want to as well.“
“They have awesome pizza! I love the thin and the double crust. They have great monthly specials too. I haven't had anything I didn't like.Kid-friendliness: My son loves this restaurant and asks to go there.Wheelchair accessibility: My father-in-law uses a walker and he didn't have any issues getting in. No stairs.“
“Came out to O'Hare's Pub for their Friday Happy Hour. O'Hares is an Irish Pub adjacent to the Midway Bowling Alley. They have a ton of tv screens which was perfect for March Madness. They also have slot machines, darts, and pool tables. The happy hour specials are VERY value driven! My partner and I both got Rail Drinks and split an appetizer. The beer nuggets were simple but good and a large sharing portion. The bartender Melanie was very personable; she was hustling while still making small talk with guests and had some great menu recommendations. We loved the neighborhood locals vibe, the value driven menu, and sports bar/pub atmosphere. We will be seeing you again soon enough O'Hare's!“
“My wife and I came here to see a band on the patio. This was our first time here. Was very easy to get a drink at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. The outdoor patio was nice - not to big - not too small. We were able to find seats in the grass to sit and listen. It was a good experience and we will definitely be going back.“
“Came for the menu, kept coming back for the atmosphere and bartenders.Recently moved to St. charles and this is now our go to bar for fun. Drinks are always great, if something is off, they will remake to your liking. Shea is fantastic at the bar, will remember you, and will make sure you have a great time. All other bartenders have all treated us well. Definitely stop here for a great time!“
“My family has gone to Old Towne Pub on multiple occasions and intend to continue to go. However, we have had multiple incidents where the service has taken an extremely long time to come around and serve us. I assume it is a matter of needing additional staff, but be prepared to wait. Everything else from the friendliness to the atmosphere and food is great. The cost isn’t absurd by today’s standards either.“
