“It's a nice place if you wanna just chill out with some friends and play pool. It's never too crowded and the bartenders are usually super nice. Sometimes you'll get the occasional knuckleheads that come in but nothing that's too outrageous. Cool patio outside to hang out on if you want to as well.“
“They have awesome pizza! I love the thin and the double crust. They have great monthly specials too. I haven't had anything I didn't like.Kid-friendliness: My son loves this restaurant and asks to go there.Wheelchair accessibility: My father-in-law uses a walker and he didn't have any issues getting in. No stairs.“
“The food is really good. First visit had the Rocketman Pan Pizza. which is more like a thick flat bread. Very tasty. The Chorizo Stuffed Dates were amazing. Second visit tried the Nonna's Sunday Pie Pan Pizza, extremely spicy!!Cons:(1) Lack of Ice. You get No ice with your water and maybe 3 small cubes in your cocktail. We have learned the first thing we order is two tall glasses of ice to add to all our drinks.(2) Services is so so. You don't see your waiter much. After you order, someone else brings your food. Nobody ever checks on you after that!! So if you need another drink, napkin, silverware, anything . . good luck.We will give it one more try. If the service is not better then we won't be back. You can get good food a lot of places, so service is a MUST.“
“It’s a pretty neat place to come and stop by for some food and a drink. They had the fire pit going on outside this winter and thought that was cool. Staff there seemed really friendly as well. Lots of people come here from the wedding venue up the street.“
“When the late night beer craving calls your name this is the spot to visit when in the area. Lots of extra curricular options like pool tables, darts, gaming etc available. Nightly customer interaction activities like trivia and karaoke and a great late night scene. Staff is super cool and definitely know how to keep the drinks flowing and run a bar. Tap list with local beer as well as full liquor options. Views of the river at the bar make it extra nice. If you visit when Tiff is working the bar make sure to buy her a shot of Malort.“

“They need more bands featuring Magoo. Last night was his band, Los Toasters, and they were excellent. Please hire them more as well as Whiskey Jezebel and GoodFoot. The bartenders are attentive and friendly even though it's usually a crowd at the bar and I really live this space now every time I come in“
“Baked French Onion soup perfect ✅Cheese Curds with Ranch Dressing - OMG the breading is light and crispy. And the ranch dressing is great (can't put my finger on the pinch making is special) North Avenue Pub Buger- good?North Ave BLT-yummy with applewood ? bacon.“
“I cannot comment on the food yet, but the menu looked better than most bars around, especially when considering the name. I unfortunately showed up right at the tail end of the evening when KARAOKE and the Kitchen were closing. Some people have all of the luck, right? Cheap drinks.“
“The stuffed pizza was very good! The thin crust, IMO, was just good. The service was very good, and the restaurant atmosphere was very good - clean, bright, modern, friendly. A fun and cheerful place to eat with friends and family!Vegetarian options: You can definitely order pizza without meat. There are salads and other options that can be ordered without meat, I believe.Parking: This is located in the Arboretum shopping area so there's plenty of parking.“
“I've been here a couple times, the food is always good. But I think what makes this place stand out to me is the level of service. The wait staff is always attentive and constantly come back to check on you, not in an annoying way, but they have it down to a science it seems. They are never pushy and always friendly. It's a great place for you to be able to hang out with a few friends and grab a drink and a good meal.“
“I didn’t eat here. I actually got water. They don’t have lemon I was designated driver and they didn’t look down at that. They kept my water cold and brought me more ice. Pretty quiet. Family placeKid-friendliness: Bring something for the kids to do. Tables are huge. Enough for food and a board gameWheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Double doors.Plenty of parking“
“It's a small but cozy pub. We've been here several times for dinner. We've driven by this place often and not sure why we never went in. We usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are very friendly. Troy has made us some great cocktails. I recommend Coffee Shop After Hours with mezcal (or vodka), cold brew and cocoa bean. The Rye Old Fashioned is really good. The Bloody Mary (only served during Sunday brunch) is outrageous with that slider on top! They have a decent beer selection also. The prime rib special is delicious and perfectly cooked. Rocco burger is good too. We enjoy coming here place. You will need to be mindful of the hours because they're not typical.“
“Still the best I drive 45 minutes. On a good traffic day to enjoy this crispy thin crust. Make sure you take advantage of this crispy crust and order it well done. When you walk in the door, there is a service station right to the left. There's always been immediate communication and unless it's packed you never have to wait for a seat. Plenty of room I very much like the ambience Northwoods, theme, and there's something to look at everywhere you go around the room. Sometimes after placing my order, I walk around and do just that to see what's new and was changed.“
“I was there last night for the first time for a birthday party. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. I took at peek at the outdoor dinning and it looked so nice and what a view! The bartenders were fabulous! They had karaoke there last night too. Oh, and if you like carrot cake or cheese cake, (I’m sure all the desserts are just as delicious) save room for dessert! I will definitely be coming back.“
“Stumbled across EPH doing a random Google maps search and I'm glad I did! They have an expansive menu of pub foods that surely would satisfy practically anyone. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich with goat cheese on a pretzel bun. The breast was huge and quite tasty. The goat cheese was interesting; not exactly my first choice but I didn't mind the outside my comfort zone choice. I paired it with Cajun fries for the perfect spicy combo. My wife had the Fiesta chicken, minus the bun, which she said she enjoyed. Definitely plan to go back and try more items on the menu.“
“Came out to O'Hare's Pub for their Friday Happy Hour. O'Hares is an Irish Pub adjacent to the Midway Bowling Alley. They have a ton of tv screens which was perfect for March Madness. They also have slot machines, darts, and pool tables. The happy hour specials are VERY value driven! My partner and I both got Rail Drinks and split an appetizer. The beer nuggets were simple but good and a large sharing portion. The bartender Melanie was very personable; she was hustling while still making small talk with guests and had some great menu recommendations. We loved the neighborhood locals vibe, the value driven menu, and sports bar/pub atmosphere. We will be seeing you again soon enough O'Hare's!“
“My wife and I came here to see a band on the patio. This was our first time here. Was very easy to get a drink at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. The outdoor patio was nice - not to big - not too small. We were able to find seats in the grass to sit and listen. It was a good experience and we will definitely be going back.“
“Pizza was good. We ordered Mexican pizza and a margherita pizza. Great ambience. Decorations on this barn converted to restaurant are great with plenty of animals hanging from the walls. Courteous customer service. Would definitely come back here.“
“Came for the menu, kept coming back for the atmosphere and bartenders.Recently moved to St. charles and this is now our go to bar for fun. Drinks are always great, if something is off, they will remake to your liking. Shea is fantastic at the bar, will remember you, and will make sure you have a great time. All other bartenders have all treated us well. Definitely stop here for a great time!“
“My family has gone to Old Towne Pub on multiple occasions and intend to continue to go. However, we have had multiple incidents where the service has taken an extremely long time to come around and serve us. I assume it is a matter of needing additional staff, but be prepared to wait. Everything else from the friendliness to the atmosphere and food is great. The cost isn’t absurd by today’s standards either.“
“Cool little spot in the ice arena with plenty of tvs and seating for a lot of people. Can be a little hectic at times just by virtue of all the people coming and going for hockey games and the like, but otherwise a cool atmosphere with a window that allows you to see one of the rinks and whoever happens to be on them at that time. The food is typical bar food, but it's good bar food, in my humble opinion. My wife says the wings are better at the St. Charles location, but I find it hard to believe that they would do anything differently than the other spot. This picture is the Greek wings, which were pretty darn good. Very crispy and good flavor.“
“Pub 72 is truly a hidden gem in the area.Great neighborhood place with fantastic food and people. The owner, Michael, and his family have been in the hospitality business in the Chicagoland area for years and each of their establishments is truly the standard of what a neighborhood spot should be. You always know you’re getting a great meal. But Pub 72 is special because its bbq is exceptional. The dining area has also recently been elevated as a new addition has been made to the bar giving a relaxing spacious area for multiple large parties. I highly recommend you stop in, Michael will make you feel like family, and you may even get to beat him at darts.“
“We 4 seniors, Saturday at 4ish went to back tent area, but was full. We told a waitress we were headed to the building. Dory the waitress was very attentive to us. We had fast service. Food was great and we used a coupon from clipper advertiser.Pulled Pork sandwich, Fish sandwich, Ruben sandwich, fish meal“
“We came for the fish fry and it was excellent! It's served how it should be with plenty of fish, french fries, coleslaw and a dinner roll, perfect midwestern comfort food!! If you go on a Friday during lent be sure to get there early for a table ?“
