“I am visiting from Las Vegas and this café is conveniently located in the same building that I’m staying. It seems to be a very popular spot, and they have many options for breakfast. However, I’ve only gotten a latte so far, and was very pleased with my service.“

“Saw this little shop today for the first time. The owner said they’ve been open for 3 1/2 years! I don’t know how I missed it. However, I don’t get to Champaign very often anymore. Anyway, I had a chocolate raspberry tart. It was beautiful and equally delicious! I wish I had taken a picture before I ate it! lol! I also purchased a mocha tart but I haven’t eaten it yet.“

“The bread comany carries well its name, the bread there is fantastic. It has a European inspired menu, with the popular swiss fondue that I highly recommend! There lunch combos with salad/soup and half sandwich are reasonably priced and tasty. It is a great experience in a quaint and comfortable ambiance.“

“I had the turkey rueben. It was a really good sandwich. The rye was mild but flavorful and perfectly toasted. The coleslaw wasn't too sweet and the turkey was super delicious. My only complaint is it was $19. If it was a big city maybe but a $20 deli sandwich (no side unless you count a single pickle slice) in Champaign is overpriced. All that said, it was a really good sandwich. The baked good we had were good and more reasonably priced.“

“My friend got me this Tres Leches cake from Rick's Bakery and I loved it! Decent size but was able to hold it up one hand (as seen in photo)! The flavor was amazing and the cake was spongy/soft! I would definitely return to buy this cake for the next birthday party!“
“An amazing bakery that deserve many tries! You'll be surprised by the prices of their desserts or bread. There're so many choices, and you might want to get each one a try! I got four in total, and that only cost about ten dollars. Definitely a good bakery that people in town rarely know!“

“I absolutely adore this donut shop! The variety of unique flavors is simply outstanding, and every single donut looks utterly irresistible. Personally, I'm a huge fan of their Yeast Doughnuts; they strike the perfect balance, not too dense like the cake ones. Plus, having coffee and Matcha available is always a delightful bonus. The Girl Scouts Samoas special was a definite highlight for me, but I couldn't resist trying the Orange Pistachio as well, and it was pure bliss. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty treat!“

“The new Kitchen manager, Anna, has really turned that place around. If you pop in, ask for her. She’s a fun chat! The staff is friendly, the ambiance is that of a diner. You won’t get fine dining food but you’ll get great comfort food at a fair price.“
“The owner of this bakery is the one of the most talented and creative people I’ve ever met! She can make customized cakes for special occasion as well as small sweet treats that light up my whole day. I especially appreciate her dedication to her work and for that I’d recommend this shop to anyone I know. ❤️“
“We love these little bundt cakes! We were first introduced to Nothing Bundt Cakes at a work event, but they instantly became our family’s favorite celebration treat. The flavor selection is great and my family (not being able to choose just one type per person) loves to get a few different flavors and cut them into 1/4s to share. The white chocolate raspberry and the chocolate chocolate chip are especially good. Would definitely recommend!“
“Delicious graduation cake made at the last minute. It was just sweet enough with tons of moisture and frosting, yum! This is a strawberry cake with whipped cream in between each layer. Our family really enjoyed it, especially our graduate. Customer service 5 stars! Thank you, The New Sweet Indulgence.“
“This cookie spot is a gem! Their adorable cookies, especially in the large bouquets of 12 for around $9 each, are worth every penny. While it's a tad pricey, the cookies are impeccably crafted and oh-so-pretty.Quick tip: give them a call before your pickup; the order might not be ready right on time, but hey, they're always freshly made to order!“

“We love this half-market and half-cafe! I always stop in when I'm in town to check out their new vegan selections and various global foods, and then pop into the cafe for lunch. They have a bunch of things in the deli that are vegan - baba ganouj, hummus, bbq tofu, dolmeh, falafel, tabouli, and more - and have milk alternatives for their drinks. They have a great selection of bottled drinks as well.“

“I was at Walmart at the service counter. There was one person working and there were 7 people in line. I went out and got a manager. I told her what the situation was and asked if they could get another person at the customer service desk. She said it is lunch time. I told her that they should have enough staff to cover peoples lunch break. I was getting annoyed. Within less than 5 minutes there was another person and the line went so fast, it was actually shocking. Often times there is only 2 cashiers at the checkout. Often they are only in the cigarette aisle, which is the busiest aisle of all. There are usually many managers and employees walking around but they don't open a new lane even though they see the people in line. I shop at Walmart all the time and I will not stop shopping there.“
