“I ordered a triple iced latte with sugar free cinnamon and white chocolate for my first visit. I love all the sugar free options. Starbucks only has ONE. BOO! I definitely want to come back and try some food!! I love a small local place. Death to corporations! I don’t come to Savoy often. But I prefer to do my grocery shopping here when I can. “I am visiting from Las Vegas and this café is conveniently located in the same building that I’m staying. It seems to be a very popular spot, and they have many options for breakfast. However, I’ve only gotten a latte so far, and was very pleased with my service.“

“Saw this little shop today for the first time. The owner said they’ve been open for 3 1/2 years! I don’t know how I missed it. However, I don’t get to Champaign very often anymore. Anyway, I had a chocolate raspberry tart. It was beautiful and equally delicious! I wish I had taken a picture before I ate it! lol! I also purchased a mocha tart but I haven’t eaten it yet.“

“We order bulks for our office and it is by far the best, fresh coffee I had in years. And if you do fresh bean grind to espresso or whatever coffee machine you have, you know you'll need a good roasters. THIS is the place.FYI, for those who are concerned of higher price than before (i.e. smaller packages with same price etc... ) its because the global bean price has risen significantly after COVID.“

“Sadly didn’t take any pictures while here but I came here to study since I had a gift card and I love the amount of seats they have inside, as well as electrical outlets to charge all of your devices when studying! It can get a little noisy inside so if you really need some quiet, I may consider going else where. But overall I did like it and would come back again!“

“I absolutely adore this donut shop! The variety of unique flavors is simply outstanding, and every single donut looks utterly irresistible. Personally, I'm a huge fan of their Yeast Doughnuts; they strike the perfect balance, not too dense like the cake ones. Plus, having coffee and Matcha available is always a delightful bonus. The Girl Scouts Samoas special was a definite highlight for me, but I couldn't resist trying the Orange Pistachio as well, and it was pure bliss. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty treat!“

“It's a very loveable place, the food is good and affordable, staff is fine, the vibe is very cosy and relaxing, and it has lots of spots and outlets to work or study. But quite cold even in Aug especially the bathroom and I wish there were some cost notations on the tea menu and baked goods. Overall it's my favourite place in town so far.“

“Established college coffee center, lots of room, large menu, plenty of friendly staff and nice sizes for lattes, we all sampled lattes and enjoyed some boardgames too. My latte was decent, nothing special, definitely better brews in the area but few with a large seating area and plenty to dabble on the menu.“

“I cannot say enough good things about Namken Nutrition!!! My family has been long time supporters of their Decatur location and I was thrilled when they opened an Urbana location a few months after we moved here! I am a busy mom of 3 little kids and it is SO helpful to have Namken meals in my fridge every week that I can grab to have for lunch during my workday or to have to feed the whole family on those busy sports nights when I don’t have time to cook and we’re on the run! Pop in the microwave for about 2 min and you’re ready! No fuss. All of the food is absolutely delicious — we love the grab n go meals (creamy shrimp Tuscan bowl, steak fajita burrito bowls, smoked brisket and smoked chicken, fall harvest chopped salad, and anything Big Mac are my faves), homemade yogurt and granola bowls (the cookie dough is my fave), protein bars (the sea salt cashew butter and chocolate is to die for), breakfast burritos, protein smoothies (chunky monkey is my favorite), protein coffees, and more!! The daily lunchbox is also such a nice offering. You get a nutritious, delicious, filling lunch for about $10 — comes with a side of fruit — and you can grab a protein coffee or smoothie to go with it! The salmon salad wrap, tuna salad wrap, and bbq pork wrap are my favorites, but they’re all so good. I also keep their frozen breakfast burritos in my freezer for when we have overnight guests and we always get rave reviews! BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, go in and meet the Namken team! The owner, her husband, and daughter are such kind, good, hardworking people and they have an amazing, fun, energetic staff who go above and beyond to make customers feel welcome and informed!! (Also be sure to give their pup, Avocado, an ear scratch, too if there!) You can tell how much everyone loves being there as soon as you walk in the door. Follow them on Instagram or Facebook for menus, pre-order info, and behind-the-scenes in the kitchen. I hope the C-U community supports them and they are as successful here as in Decatur! “Favorite coffee place in Champaign! The coffee is very rich, and they have their specialty coffee as well. Seating area is also nice, there are few thats comfortable enough for studying/working. But I specifically love sitting at the bar with the high chair!“

“This place is great! We got two drinks and both were super tasty! I lived the kiwi yogurt slush I got. Both of our drinks were ready quickly. I really liked the atmosphere here. It was fun and there was room for both small and large groups if you were going to stay for a bit. We were just grabbing something to go as we're visiting family. The menu here is huge. I'd love to come back and try something else. I had trouble choosing, everything sounded so good!“

“If you want breakfast in Champaign, you better come to Cracked! The food here is so good and the concoctions of savory goodness are creative and ideal. I had the Sloppy Jose, which is a chorizo sandwich with guacamole, hash brown, and a fried egg. I loved this sandwich, especially with the sauce provided at the tables. I also tried the French toast bites. I asked for extra cinnamon sugar and mixed it in with lots of syrup. After that added load of sugar, the bites were good, but I probably do not recommend. Coffee is good. The atmosphere is nice and has U of I stuff everywhere. Service was good but the sandwiches took forever to be made. Luckily, the tasted very good to make up for it. I will definitely be coming back to Cracked to try more items off the menu!“
