“Songs has very good food and their their atmosphere is just a small little Chinese restaurant that has a lot of pictures of food on the walls like many others nothing exceptional but the food is good and that's what's important and it looks cleanVegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but I do eat vegetarian dishes from time to time because of my health issues and they're very good you really don't need meat all the time to have a tasty filling mealParking: There are a lot of parking spots around because it there's not just one store it's like a strip area so there's plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: When you call or go in you're greeted very friendly and they're very nice to you and accommodating and they'll get your food out to you as soon as possible“
“Our first time here, it was last minute and we chose it based on a picture someone posted of a soup. We were pleasantly surprised to come in on a Sunday afternoon and we were provided with a table in one of their private rooms. We chose several options and when we tasted the soup, it was soo delicious. Everything was great. Can't wait to go back. We even got additional stuff to go.Kid-friendliness: The kids were offered a kiddie cocktail and they got a kick out of it.“
“Love this place! The crispy green bean appetizer is our favorite. Veronika, our server, totally made our date night! She was very attentive and helpful! Her menu knowledge made it easy on choosing something different for dinner! Can’t wait to go back and try something new again! Thanks again to Veronika!“
“Visited this place with a friend a few times in the past, one of the best Asian restaurants in the area. You can tell the eggrolls are fresh when you can taste the ingredients instead of grease, and the sweet and sour sauce (ask for home made, not packet)- I'd say both are fantastic.Never had a single bad meal here, food is fast, staff efficient and courteous, and you get a large amount of food for the price. While it *can* get more expensive, sharing meals cuts down on the cost, and the food IS worth it.Only complaint is parking is iffy, but between Johnnie's beef and the other lots you'll likely find something nearby...pulls you out of the experience abit, but the food is worth it.“
“Amazing food. I eat here whenever I'm in the western suburbs. The soup dumplings are very good and highly recommended. I also recommend the stir fried pancakes which aren't really pancakes at all but a type of noodle. They do taste somewhat like pancakes though.Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options including pan fried noodles with veggies and vegetable side dishes.Parking: There is plenty of parking“
“This was our first time here. It was very busy so we ate at the bar. What a treat! We had conversations with the two women behind the bar and learned a bit about Chinese alcohol and the Jasmine tea they serve. The food was wonderful. We had Wonton soup, hot and sour soup (the best I have ever had!), potstickers, Hunan beef, and garlic chicken. Everything came out of the kitchen quickly and hot! The food was plentiful and I had to pack most of my entree to go! The staff was very kind and attentive. What a wonderful dinner. I can't wait to come back to town to dine there again.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was accessible.“
“Had a great experience my first time here. Food was delicious, portions were huge, and the service was phenomenal!! Service is what really stood out to me. Also they were very fast and gave a complimentary cookie and fortune cookie with the check. Highly recommended ! Try the combination rice can't go wrong.“
“If you read any of the reviews for Al's Drive In online, people have a ton of nostalgia for this place. I find nostalgia for a restaurant can play a negative role for those who don't have the association, but that wasn't the case for me who only ate here for the first time today. The Chicago dog and super taco were solid but the combination fried rice was the hero for me. Never thought l'd find this kind of wok hei flavor from a Chicago Red Hots institution in Maywood, IL that would remind me so much of the fried rice I grew up with at my Chinese immigrant family's restaurant in Arizona. Honestly just throw in some bean sprouts and you'd have a 1:1 copy. I may not have the same nostalgia that a lot of the usuals have with Al's, but that familiar taste of home is so present in every bite of this fried rice. I'm immediately transported to teenage me devouring a large combination fried rice at my own family's restaurant after working a full day's 12hr shift in the summer and immediately passing out in my bed when I got home. I wish I had started coming here sooner.“
“Probably the best Chow Fun I’ve had a in a long time. I had some last week and today I had to get some more. So good. Paired this with a mango smoothie. The Chow Fun I requested to be extra spicy with shrimp. Don’t miss this place. The fried rice is amazing as well. It’s as if they grill the rice or something. There’s a little char on it at times that makes it so addictive and delicious. Beware, one visit will not be enough. So darn good.“
“This is a great place for maki rolls... The service was very good. I love the fact you ordered your food and it came to the table fresh, great concept for buffet. Abit of advice go hungry and with more the 2 people for the buffet. Going back soon to try other foods for sure.“
“Sooo fantastic! I asked for wonton soup..Korean wings & spring rolls. I'll say that I will be a FOREVER customer now..the wings were the BEST I've ever had,so crunchy and the seasoning was spot on~the flavor was mmmmMMmm also ,the soup tasted like it was JUST made.. i was really happy when i saw that i was given rice as well! ..most importantly for me, this food was REALLY clean and by that I mean -ingredients that were selected & prepared with intent..no "after taste" no grease..just delicious homemade honest food! Thank you!Parking: Wouldn't ever be an issue“
“Excellent service and sushi!! They served 22+ of us and were on top of it! Drinks, many different menu items and never missed a beat. Delicious sushi, sashimi and cooked items along great portion sizes. Awesome place and definitely returning!“
“We went there last night and got a take out order. I love Chinese food. This food is the best ! The staff is very friendly and polite . The food is so good that this is My go to restaurant when I’m in Elmhurst from now on. I am very delighted that we stopped in .“
“We have gone her so many times. This place never disappoints us. The ladies are super nice. Food is served fast. They also pack the left overs for you. They also have vegetarian options. They have these super delicious almond cookies they give along with the fortune cookies.Thr decorations inside are unique and give a nice cozy look.Occasionally there are free music shows. One night there was Rod Stewart. We didn’t know about him, but we checked later. He is a celebrity of sorts.“
“My new favorite go to Chinese food restaurant! The owners are so kind, gave my children candy when we came in to pick up. Everything I had was very tasty. My go to's are Sesame chicken, egg rolls, crab ragoon, beef with peapods, and fried rice. They are all amazing so far. Chicken actually looks and tastes like real chicken. All the vegatables are fresh and you can tell. 5 stars! Also the food is FAST and not greasy like some places!“
“one of my favorite pan-asian spots in chicago! the food is always so delicious and fresh, i've gotten it delivered, picked it up, and sat in and every time it's fire. it seems to be family owned, as sometimes there are kids/teens taking my order or serving me, which I love supporting! very attentive and quick to bring the food. if you come, don't miss out on the smoothies. my girlfriend and I will sometimes even come just for the smoothies. they are made with fresh fruit that you see them blend and make right in front of of you. they are so good! I come here pretty often, and highly recommend.“
“Came for the rave reviews about their dim sum and they didn't disappoint. Food was hot, fresh, tasty, good portions and staff was very attentive. Really have to hand it to the chefs. Although decor is nice, they really should've spent more time or money in hiring quality painters and that includes the restrooms. It would make the place so much nicer for a place that is touting to be a high end cuisine. Been told it's been open for about 4-5 months and will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.“
“20 February 2024 on vacation from MI. While staying in a hotel, less than 2 miles away, I had a taste for Chinese. I google, searched for some tasty authentic chinese food. Happy I came across Hoa-My. The food was surprisingly good. I had the dinner special shrimp in garlic sauce#12. I really liked the beef fried rice, very tasty. The owner was very friendly.“

“Forbidden noodles' primarily culinary focus is Japanese Ramen and stir fry selections. The curry is good and tastes very much like the mild golden ramen brand Japanese curry that I make at home occasionally. The chicken and broccoli added to the standard rice and carrot/potato curry mixture were of good quality. The Tonkotsu had very good pork, and surprisingly, it included broccoli as well. The more common ramen garnishes of onions, baby bock choy, egg, naruto (fish cake), and seaweed were also in this bowl and tasted good. They have a cheese, steak, and jalapeño egg roll that was amazing, and yes, you should try one. Forbidden Noodles is a great addition to downtown La Grange and for this area, this is a good choice for ramen in the area. If you are searching for your favorite bowl of ramen anywhere around chicagoland, feel free to check my reviews of alternate ramen restaurant options.“
“One of the top Chinese restaurants in Chicago!Recommend the orange chicken. Sauce tastes homemade and chicken is high quality and perfectly fried. Also recommend the Chef Korean Special. Heart vegetables, meat and kimchi in a perfectly spicy and tangy sauce.“
“This is real home cooked Chinese food! Very simple old school stall in a food court but don’t let the surroundings fool you. This place is worth the 45 min drive for me. Best Chinese food in Chicago imo. LOVE the scallion pancakes. Everything tastes “
“Food was good. Hit the spot. We had HK style chow mein with beef and it was good. Bbq pork fried rice was good. The pork flavor was subtle but tasty. Singapore style green beans were good. Cooked perfectly, wasn't undercooked with "chaulky" beans. Fresh! Peking duck was good. Not as fancy as some places but passsble and tasty. A few steps above Panda. Servers were good and attentive. Quality service.“
“Beef Peapods with onions were way too bland, slimmy and gelatinous; the whole family stunned. Everything else was perfect and with great portions! We loved the orange chicken, potsticker?, egg foo young and the beef fried rice was delicious.#“
“Great, fast dinner. Best dishes are Cantonese, but they make versions of Szechuan and Hunan specialties. Very good wonton soup, as you'd expect of their namesake. Did I mention fast. Carry out orders usually ready in 5-10 minutes. Nice to dine in or carry out.“
“A family run restaurant with great food and a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. The appetizer are start to every meal. A selection of appetizer and splitting a main course is often enough for two.Dietary restrictions: The food is made to order and meets the personal needs.“
“My family loves Ho Ho! We've been ordering from here for over 20 years. Even my children enjoy the food now. It's exciting that they recently added new items to the menu. We've tried many noodle dishes, rice dishes, and appetizers. Ho Ho has one of the best hot sauces! We will continue to order from here a few times a month.“
“There are several great asian restaurants in La Grange, and most are pretty high end.Yau's Place is on the opposite end of the spectrum, but in a quaint kind of way. This is a hole-in-the-wall, mom-and-pop restaurant, run by a family that charmingly puts zero effort into creating an ambiance. I seriously say that with affection. This isn't a place you'd want to bring a date, but if you just want some good, cheap, fast chicken fried rice (or whatever your favorite Chinese dish is), I'd recommend it.Just be prepared to have a little "uhh.... are you open?" type of reaction when you walk in.“
“What I had was very good. Has no atmosphere at all. Reminds me of a military chow hall. Has very large menu to choose from. I generally judge Chinese restaurants by its customers. If its full of Asians , eat there, if not, go somewhere else.“
“LOVE LOVE LOVE all their dishes!! Always enjoyEd their satays, roti canai and yam pot. Great place to bring friends and family to savor delicious food. Serving time may be a bit slow but their offerings are worth waiting and worth the drive. They even have Thai entrees and tiramisu desserts.“
“This charming Chinese restaurant features a menu focused on Sichuan spicy cuisine, and it did not disappoint. To start, I ordered the Sichuan spicy wontons, which were packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat. For the main course, I tried the Sichuan spicy chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender, and the spicy sauce had a perfect balance of flavors. If you're a fan of Sichuan spicy food, I highly recommend visiting Asian Bistro. The food is authentic and flavorful, making it a must-try for anyone looking for a taste of traditional Chinese cuisine.“
“I got delivery (from delivery service, the restaurant doesn't deliver to des plaines) twice I love love the egg Foo young. Best I've had since moving to burbs 17 yr ago. Orange chicken very good Only complaint is the chix rice soup was chix, rice and about a spoon of broth. I was really needing the broth I'd like to visit the restaurant if I ever get that way w friends that drive“
“The people are nice and are working hard. I can tell. I stopped in on the way back from Chicago and I had the BEST avocado roll ever. The avocado was so fresh. I don't think you'll regret coming by when you need something easy to eat :)“
“Always on point. Food is cooked as ordered. Though the pricing increased still decent amount of food.Vegetarian options: There are no vegetarian foods hereParking: Laramie is busy and the parking is one of those if you see a spot better grab it. I wouldn't suggest double parking in front of the restaurant becomes a clutterWheelchair accessibility: Access into store has a ramp and threshold. But there is no handicap parking spot“
“combination chow mein is always good. Beef with vegetables, salt and pepper smelt and pork chop are very good. their orange chicken needs improvement. The pho is good too although they need to provide addled housing and chili when they serve.“
“This started as trying to find a back-up for Chinatown. WOW! This place is amazing... we call it "5 Minute" because that is what the lady first told me on the phone, and she wasn't kidding... for lunch, that is. Their Lunch Combos come with an egg roll, a bottle of water, a huge serving of shrimp fried rice, and your large order. I LOVE their Shrimp Kow, it is so flavorful, I'm sure anything China House makes is wonderful. Oh, best yet, you get all this for under $12. This is actually 3 meals for me, so I know you construction guys will have enough to eat here for lunch. Enjoy!“
“New favorite Restaurant ?I delivered for Uber when I came across this gem. Staff super sweet, very busy at check out side - I love that for them. The air smells soooo good. I decided to grab my mom and we sat down an hour later. The food didn’t take too long to come out. When we seen the portions, we were shocked. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. Staff gave us extra small plates so Mom and I traded a little of our meats just yummmyyy. Went to the restroom very pretty, updated and clean. They played music videos definitely a vibe. Different kinds of seating in the dinning area. We sat at a booth. We grabbed to go plates, I for sure ate the rest for lunch the next day and will be going again pretty soon.Order:Fried Rice Plate with Green Pepper Steak comes with an egg roll.Side of Crab Rangoon w/sauceFried Rice Plate with Orange Chicken also comes with an egg roll.“
“Large parking lot that is usually empty or plenty of spaces. It’s next door to Park to Shop. There are technically 4 restaurants, you may see 5 but 2 of them are connected. The Serbian restaurant is almost always dead, not a lot of customers. It’s a shame because Serbian food is pretty tasty. On the weekends, they have Taiwanese breakfast at Chinese Cafe. Usually a long line. Good mix of Chinese and Taiwanese food. I would like to see them add more of the popular Taiwanese dishes. Prices are usually cheap to moderate. Good size portions.“
“Authentic and really wide range menu items, including tofu jelly/pudding, fresy soy milk, and fried dough. Family business with the family working during the weekend. There are 4 restaurants at the International Mall food court (next to Park to Shop asian grocery store) and this place is by far the busiest. Great value and great food.“
“Food was great. Ate on location with colleagues first. Pass the taste test. Talked to Yan. She was very friendly and helpful with my catering questions. Ordered catering for 80 people. Delivery was on time. Food received great review. It was more than enough to feed 80. Will cater again in the future.“
“I have been going to Chopstick Express for 8 years. The owner is very nice as he remembers his customers who frequently dine in, carry out, and have food delivered. The food is extremely fresh and always hot even if there is a wait time. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone as you want be disappointed.“
“Great food & service. Their food is so delicious. My 5-year-old ordered 3 dishes & ate by himself. Definitely, kids will love this place. The Mayo Seau Shrimp is my favorite. My son loves the Jaengban-Jjajang & ordered it as non spicy.“
“We've been coming here for several years with a break also for several years because something changed and the good wasn't good. The last 3 yrs, this place has been amazing! There aren't a lot of good Chinese places around here so I am ecstatic this place exists and we eat here almost every week. Its our only chinese take out place now. Noodle dishes are great, rice, egg foo young, salt & pepper chicken, chicken wings, pot stickers. Really everything. We constantly try new dishes and they have all been good. If you've been here once and didn't like it, I recommend you try them again. Food is always done quickly too.“
“Back to Chicago after years, discovered this amazing place today! I have been transitioning/moving and had to eat out a lot lately. I don't often write reviews but this is truly the best meal I've had this year. I asked what's good, they said General Tso's chicken. Hands down the best variation of the dish I've ever had. the fried rice was delicious and the portions were enormous, I can put away some food and this delicious freshly made crispy yummyness was probably enough for 2 may be even 3 portions/meals. Oh I also had the best crab Rangoon ever, way too much food but I hadn't eaten all day. Needless to say at $12.96 for all that, I will be trying everything on the menu and probably write another review.Vegetarian options: I requested a vegetarian eggroll which they made fresh for me.“

“Classic Chinese place in that it is a small storefront in a local strip mall. They do not deliver. The lady in charge was very nice to deal with and our order was ready as promised. We had Kung Pao and Sesame Chicken with a couple of egg rolls. Food was quite good and in "lunch for the next two days" quantity. We will be returning. It should also be noted that dine-in facilities are at an absolute minimum. Functionally, this is a take-out joint only. And that is okay.“
“Really good place, fast delivery, fresh food!, egg rolls were fire big dawg. Really good place, fast delivery, fresh food!, egg rolls were fire big dawg. “Been coming here for some many times and the food always served hot fresh and fast..food tastes always amazing portion and prices reasonable..if you love wonton with noddles this is your place..serve with different topping your choice price varies..always serve hot“
“First time ordering from here, and we'll definitely be back. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The Xtra Large size is no joke!!! We ordered an Xtra Large order of sweet and sour chicken, BBQ pork egg foo young lunch special, crab Rangoon and BBQ pork ribs. The sweet and sour chicken was a huge hit, my kids absolutely loved it. Light and crispy, and it didn't taste oily at all. Egg foo young lunch special was great, really liked the plain fried rice it came with. BBQ pork ribs were tasty, as were the rangoon. They stuff those crab rangoon very nicely!Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the foodDietary restrictions: Let them know if you have any allergies etc, they seem accommodating“
“I've ordered from this place 4 times and it never disappoints! My 7yr old granddaughter came over so we ordered Chinese food from here today and she absolutely loved it! She said grandma why havnt we ordered this delicious food before ..lol I always get the Mongolian beef, egg rolls, crab Rangoon! Everthing is delicious!“
