“Place was old school with workers who have been there for several years. It was fun to listen to the old timers banter each other and the regulars. The food was okay, not the traditional gyro but huge portions of meat and onions if that’s what you’re looking for.“

I've also tried their tamales, which are of high quality. The popularity of this establishment is evident from the long lines often seen outside. The employees are courteous and welcoming. I highly recommend this establishment and believe you will enjoy it as well.“

“Flew from Reno to Chicago to see my son play lacrosse in the Milwaukee area. Had to stay in Chicago over night due to problems with our rental car. Happen to stay right next to Frannie"s Beef. So glad we stopped for a Italian beef and sausage combo sandwich. I have been craving a good italian beef sandwich since my last trip to Chicago. This place is an icon. Definitely will be stopping here again.“
