“I feel as though this place has gone down in everything. They don't have the same sauces as before the mild sauce was so delicious before and this time I threw it out. They run out of tenders quite often lately. The place looks neglected. They don't offer the lemon pepper bottles for purchase anymore. The case in front is empty from all the desserts they used to carry. It's sad. We used to eat here quite often but not anymore. I know it's a tuff time for everyone these days. But maybe cut back on some menu items that are not so popular to have the popular ones in stock. Just my opinion. The counter workers are always very nice. But make sure they have change or the card machine works. I've encountered both issues more times then I should've. Hopefully it gets better cuz we loved it there.“
“Prisco's Lounge is a great neighborhood bar with 3 pool tables, great drink prices, a large smoking patio and 3 gambling gaming machines. A family owned bar since 1981. A great place to watch the game, hang out with freinds, or just enjoy a nice cold beer!“
“Darrin @ Calumet City was a phenomenal waiter. My husband and I had never dined at Denny’s before but with vast knowledge of the menu and drinks and personality combined. We not only left saited but also was able to meet an interesting person. So, if you are ever in the neighborhood, go to Denny’s and ask for Darrin!!“
“I've been here with some friends a couple of times and they don't disappoint. The service is great, the bartenders are really good, the food is really good and it gets a bit crowded but you never feel closed in. The outside accommodation was comfortable even when it was cold out, and the lower level option was great since we had a few more people. I was missing an item and called to explain the situation and they fixed it right away, no hassle or complications. We will definitely be back for our monthly get togethers!!!“
“I loved my meal so much that I had to immediately sit down and write this place a review. I had the crispy steak crispy mix with fries and and drink, and it was worth every single penny. It was around $15, which, when places like McDonald's want $13 for a Big Mac meal, there's really no point in NOT paying the extra $2 for something that tastes this amazing. The person (i'm assuming owner) who took my order was kind and friendly, I felt welcome. You'd be surprised how many places fail at that. The flavors and aroma coming from my food were out of this world, and I won't be forgetting this place anytime soon. They really offer that Chicago flavor and menu right here in Oak Forest.“

“Doc's is the kind of place where you've got people from out of town in, and they want BBQ. And you want a huge variety of tap craft beers . Or you want to go there just for the beer. Surprisingly, they also have a huge whiskey selection as well. Oh, the BBQ, very good. Pig wings are flash fried smoked wings. They are fantastic. Everything else is wonderful, brisket, pulled pork and the sides. All at a reasonable price. Service.... Staff is very knowledgeable, especially the bartender who knows a thing or two about the liquor he serves. Great place ??“

“The only reason I’m leaving a 4 is because of the ladies restroom. Plenty of soap, no paper towel, and the air dryer was not up to par. There’s a slip and fall risk because of where the sink is in relation to where the hand dryer is. Lots of water on the floor, and the floor is slick. Otherwise, the food was great, and our server was amazing, I think her name was Tiffany. Great menu suggestions and very personable! I’ll definitely be back!“
“We have ordered turkey burgers with sweet potato fries for several consecutive weeks, and each time we have not been disappointed.In addition, today we ordered the fish taco platter, the rail splitting pasta, and the white bean chicken chili. Our meals were delicious. Seasoned just right. “Very friendly staff, Lulu was as sweet as can be! I very much appreciate a server who is so genuine and attentive. In general the food options are pretty good, but - I have many friends who are vegan or vegetarian. It's hard to find a place that offers any unique options for them Having a disappointed friend always detracts from a lunch date (A soup or another cooked veggie option would be surprising and delightful!).They were also out of the poppyseed dressing that really makes the salad it's for, that was another 2 friends slightly disappointed. We all did enjoy the tea options! Please get some more peach in stock soon :)Vegetarian options: There is a veggie wrap, does have feta cheese and ranch. It would be really nice to see a few more vegetarian/ vegan options, veggie wraps seem like the default option for every restaurant.“
“Phenomenal staff, best steak I've had in ages (they actually know how to do a proper medium; a vanishing feat these days, completely melts in your mouth). Italian Beef sliders were delicious and disappeared in about 30 seconds. Brought the crab cakes, wedge salad and grilled salmon back for my wife and they were all gone in about 10 minutes despite feeding a fussy baby at the same time. The butterscotch espresso martini is a decadent treat you can't skip. My only critiques are that as a whole, the prices are a bit steep, the space is small and probably not great for a large group, and the tomatoes in the Caprese were disappointingly bland. But if you're looking to spoil yourself and/or someone close to you, this is an excellent venue for it.“

It is a bar, and has limited space, but for 2 of us at lunchtime we had the whole back room that was quiet. Cici was super nice and attentive. We very much enjoyed our visit.“

“We were heading home when we really craved some hot dogs. We searched it up and Jessie's country kitchen was the first thing. Pulling up you see a two Chicago style hotdogs with a side and a drink for only $10. We came in and she right away asked us if we already had something in mind or if we wanted a recommendation. Really nice and sweet, the food is made fresh when you come in. We saw her cutting up the fries from fresh potatoes. Nice little establishment you for sure have to try!“

“This place is tops!!! Absolutely great food in a hole in the wall bar. It has a "bar" vibe, but don't let that dissuade you. We will even bring our kids here during the day. My favorite item is the flame burger, made as a chicken sandwich (you can substitute chicken for burger), with fries and ranch. Would often come here for date nights and would also get carry out anytime I was in the area. It's just delicious food. They will also do some seasonal cocktails, which are fun to try, and always have good prices.“

I am now looking at my receipt and there is a tip automatically added even though they have a cash jar Beware! I don't live close and if I come back it's for the Peach Mango Slush. I would strongly suggest a sign no outside food unless it's a live event and if there is a table time limit let your patrons know ahead. It wasn't crowded and we hadn't seen each other since my car crash a few months back during the ice and snow so we just wanted to chill but left because the vibe was killed by waiter. “This is a hip spot with good food and drink. Had a good time on a Saturday night with live music. All of the people that work there were very friendly. The buffalo shrimp were a nice size and fried well. The spinach and artichoke dip was decent. Wife had the salmon with mac n cheese. I had the blackened catfish with asparagus. I enjoyed the catfish but it didn't have that crisp on it like other blackened catfish I've had before. The asparagus were cooked perfectly. Ended the evening with the delicious sticky toffee cake. It had a really nice texture and good sauce.“

They also have a second dining area for family and fellow beer drinkers with a bar and kitchen. I'm not a beer drinker at all but the candi crushable and the hazy reign was tasty but had a bit of a strong beer aftertaste.We enjoyed the light and airy cheese curds that tasted like a great-quality mozzarella. Now let's discuss the star of the show which is the Pozole ?? my god it was so delicious. I loved the assortments that come with it. Cabbage, corn chips, and limes. “Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“
“So I visited the area for spring break and was taken to this restaurant by my Son and his Wife on March 18, 2024. I was very pleased with the ambiance. It's an intimate restaurant with a small waiting area that leads out to the eating entrance that has at least 10 tables ranging from 2 to 4 seats, two restrooms, drinking station used by the employees and the cooking area. The Waitress was pleasant and experienced. The presentation of each dish was mouthwatering as you can see. The taste was very much to my liking and seasoning to a minimum as it should be. The amount of food you get for the price is definitely feasible. Yes, you get your monies worth! The Cook that day was on point and delivered! He needs his own tip jar! The way he made the hashbrowns are unique with this mashed/hashbrown taste that melts in your mouth. My omelet was loaded with spinach, I definitely took in my daily dosage of Vitamin C for that day. Freshness and not overcooked was also key. Restaurants like this are fading away in St. Louis City and we need to "Bring Back America" with this here. In my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice, "I will be back".“

“Went there after a round of golf nearby and picked this place outta the blue and was extremely surprised how good it was. The four of us had some beers and 3 ordered food. 2 of had the chicken sandwich and it was the best and biggest grilled chicken sandwich I ever had! Had an order of onion rings and those were awesome as well. I'll bet everything on the menu would be the same. The bartender was great and really took care of anything we needed. Damn good place.“

Way better than Sharks because it tastes wayyyy better and they are Black owned and operated and instead of our hard earned dollars going back to India and not being spent in our community. “I didn't order any food when I recently visited Spanky's - a bar and grill located in a small strip mall located at 15213 101st Ave. in Dyer, Indiana. I had a few drinks, served by the very kind bartenders, and really enjoyed the live music with my friends and family! You can smoke in the bar, but it is pretty well venhilated, according to my non-smoking friends. There is a decent sized stage, plenty of space to sit at at the bar or at the tables in front of the stage, and there wasn't a wait for the bathrooms. There were three stalls available in the ladies room, which were clean, and it was nice not having to wait! Prices for the drinks were very reasonable. If music isn't your thing, there were plenty of TV's to watch - showing the news, gameshows, and sports games. I had an awesome time, they had amazing musicians, and I look forward to going back soon!Parking: Because the bar is located within a strip club, parking can be limited. There are signs in front of the businesses that state only customers for that business can park there. There IS free, additional parking located behind the strip mall, though.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar that features adult music. You might just want to leave the children at home with a baby sitter if you're going late!Wheelchair accessibility: There are parking spots for disabled individuals. Those with wheelchairs shouldn't have much trouble navigating the single level bar.“

My daughter enjoyed her Oreo pancakes and my other daughter didn’t like her breakfast quesadilla because it didn’t have that authentic taste but she says she will try something else next time.“
“We finally were in town again and got a chance to dine in to see what this restaurant was all about. I've had takeout from the establishment before and it was delicious, so I wanted to see how the service was. The gentleman at the front when you come in was polite, and friendly. He walked us to our booth and sat us. Our server Cheryl came over and took our order, she was friendly and helpful. We knew what we wanted so my fiance and I both ordered the turkey skillet and I had mine with wheat bread and the eggs over medium. I loved how the inside looked, it wasn't dirty or looked like it wasn't well maintained. The food came out and just like I remembered with my takeout it was delicious. Our server came over to check on us several times and always greeted us with a smile. I also want to point out that they have plenty of parking which is hard to find at a good restaurant. I also like how well-maintained the bathroom was. We will definitely return as I feel there are so many other items on the menu that I would like to try. So the next time we're in town we will stop by and have ourselves some more great breakfast.“

Our entrees included the Jumbo Seared Scallops with Spinach risotto and the Creamy Cajun Shrimp pasta. Both were very delicious even though the risotto was a tad too soft. Our server was personable and professional. We hope more people become aware of Labas Latte and Vino. We highly recommend it.“

The nacho was finger licking good (no KFC), really good, and the gyro was yummy, too. My grandmother had half n she don't eat everything, so it had to be D D D Delicious for granny with no teeth to eat a gyro. The person who took my order was nice, and the staff member.
