“As soon as i walked in, i knew i needed to be there. This is a great environment for any time of the day. It smelled amazing, clean, earthy vibes all right up my alley.The menu consists of a variety which iLOVED! Instead of getting the already made hot food that was calling me… i chose bbq tips with lentil soup for the side along with a veggie stir fry.WHAT A GREAT DECISION. The gentleman was so patient with me which iAppreciate since I don’t like being rushed. The flavors were amazing together and individually. iCook yet I’ll choose Daisy’s to cook for me any day ??Next time I’ll dine in and bring my Hebrew Study books ?“

“Placed my first ever order for pickup. The app was easy to use. Got to the store and was welcomed accordingly. My order was slightly delayed, but talked to the cashier and he was funny. A few people everytime an order came up double checked my name to see if it was mine. They kept.me up to date on the progress of my order. They were all very polite and organized. Restaurant was clean and order was packed well. They were all younger and you dont see that often in younger people these days. Props to all the employess that were working at 7pm on Tuesday March 26th.“

I was suffering from a hangover earlier that morning, and a friend suggested I order a Specialty drink called the “ Hangover “……AND IT WORKED, I started to feel better INSTANTLY.The whole staff looked fit and healthy which led me to inquire about the nutrition aspect of the shop. “I had the Mexican Alfredo pasta and the birrira tacos. I didn't add chicken or steak to the pasta so it was just ok but those tacos??????? ??????. I liked the location too I would say the portions are smaller than what I'm used to.“

“Recently moved to this area and this place popped up on a search for vegetarian and vegan food. I pass by on Dixie Hwy most days on my commute to/from work so I stopped in one day and decided to try the vegan gyro on the menu. I’m guessing they used Seitan as the “meat” which was served sliced on a hot grilled pita with tzatziki and veggies and a side of fries. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty and the employees were polite and provided good service. My only complaint, the big ugly squeaky Styrofoam box my food was served in. I would really like to see restaurants do away with these awful containers Not only is it horrible for our planet, Styrofoam contains the neurotoxins styrene and benzene, which are widely accepted to be carcinogens.A for vegetarian options and good serviceF for styrofoam“

“Being of eastern European discent, I ate stuff cabbage almost every Sunday. I am very picky about it cause I compare it to my mom's. Well, Big Frank's was just as good or I hate to say this, even better! Killer Holubky as the Slovaks call it! I love fresh Polish Sausage, which theirs was really good, with a lot of garlic. Great Food!“

“As a vegan it’s so hard to find many vegan options. I was so happy to stumble upon this place . The lady was so nice and patient with me. She even let me taste the flavors to choose the best option for me. I liked more than one but didn’t want them mixed. She hooked me up for sure! I will definitely be a repeat customer. “Our go to place for pho and one of my families absolute favorite. We also love their kimchi fried rice, banh mi, pot stickers and spring rolls. The service is always fantastic, everyone is really nice and patient with me and my army of kiddos. We recommend if you haven't tried them out to do so they have great options for the whole family.“

“I love this place! I live 90 min away and come to Indiana for work sometimes. I never mind if I get to eat here. I finally got to take my husband. I was a little nervous bc he has high standards. “My best friend and I met up for breakfast at Bacon and Jam. This was our first time eating here. I ordered the Opa omelet and my friend ordered the Butcher Omlete. Our waitress was amazing she welcomed us to the restaurant and gave us plenty of time to order and to eat. We didn't feel rushed at all. She was very attentive with our coffee refills. Everything was wonderful and I recommend everyone to eat at Bacon and Jam. I have to thank my daughter for recommending this restaurant. If I could give 10 stars I would. Definitely coming back.?“

“Excellent customer service with quality products. Planet Claire breakfast sandwich and white lilac peach tea were delicious. I think the muffin was pumpkin, and it was exceptional. Not too sweet, perfectly crusted top and moist throughout. Biker Burrito looked good. My husband says it was quite good and can't stop thinking about his pumpkin latte. He says it was awesome. It was made with real pumpkin!“

“So Good! Vast wine and beer selection, and great intimate atmosphere. I’ve gone by myself and with others, a blast every time. The toffee cake is so damn good, it’s outrageous. “We have ordered turkey burgers with sweet potato fries for several consecutive weeks, and each time we have not been disappointed.In addition, today we ordered the fish taco platter, the rail splitting pasta, and the white bean chicken chili. Our meals were delicious. Seasoned just right. “Very friendly staff, Lulu was as sweet as can be! I very much appreciate a server who is so genuine and attentive. In general the food options are pretty good, but - I have many friends who are vegan or vegetarian. It's hard to find a place that offers any unique options for them Having a disappointed friend always detracts from a lunch date (A soup or another cooked veggie option would be surprising and delightful!).They were also out of the poppyseed dressing that really makes the salad it's for, that was another 2 friends slightly disappointed. We all did enjoy the tea options! Please get some more peach in stock soon :)Vegetarian options: There is a veggie wrap, does have feta cheese and ranch. It would be really nice to see a few more vegetarian/ vegan options, veggie wraps seem like the default option for every restaurant.“

“I had a burger that was excellent. Cooked perfectly and taste very good. Server was very friendly and able to offer good beer recommendations since it was my first time here. The ambiance was nice as the patio offered a good outdoor seating area on the roof with a nice space. The music was pretty good also. The downstairs offered a seating area that was nice with large brewing stations to see. Bright colors and can be kid friendly. I would go back I believe the mosaically-yours ipa , delerio ipa, and the ideative-dom ipa beers were my preferred choices. Worked out well since I enjoy IPAs. The speculator cream ale...I literally felt like I could taste the corn flavor in it. Very interesting flavor. Overall, if you like trying out new beers its a place to stop in and visit and get a good burger or salad why not.“

“An Olive Garden is an Olive Garden. Admittedly, if you're eating in one in the Chicago area, it's probably a matter of convenience and price/familiarity. In my case it was both of those, and not having the time to find a top-shelf Italian restaurant. However, overall this is a better than average Olive Garden in my experience, hence the 5 star.Staff is very attentive, even when it is close to the closing hour. The food is timely in preparation. Nothing was wrongly prepared per the menu or specifications for an OG. When it was asked, they even paid attention to my "Please don't bring me extra bread. I don't know when to stop" request on the first statement, which I appreciate. (No, seriously, I don't. I could inhale their breadsticks in the dozens. I know they're not that good but I just can't help myself. Why do you few loyal readers think most of my reviews are restaurants? Hah.) “This places has the best food! It was great to have an upscale meal without having to drive downtown! Everything was cooked perfectly and came out in a timely manner. They have an array of different cocktails, and everyone was really happy with the one they picked out! I will definitely be visiting again in the future!“

“This place is slightly off the beaten path and has a great atmosphere. I love they have a room for cocktails with a small limited menu. You can see the brewery behind the partition window. They also have a second dining area for family and fellow beer drinkers with a bar and kitchen. I'm not a beer drinker at all but the candi crushable and the hazy reign was tasty but had a bit of a strong beer aftertaste.We enjoyed the light and airy cheese curds that tasted like a great-quality mozzarella. Now let's discuss the star of the show which is the Pozole ?? my god it was so delicious. I loved the assortments that come with it. Cabbage, corn chips, and limes. And our wonderful and extraordinary waitress Ms. Megan was so informative and such a kind spirit. Make sure you ask for her!“

I did a same day pickup and the cookies were ready on time. I was an hour late to the pickup and the cookies were still warm.Dietary restrictions: I love how she uses coconut sugar and none of her cookies have soy.“

“I came here with family and friends to celebrate my two kids' birthday, and we had an awesome time. The hibachi is a must do. The kids and adults enjoyed not only the food but the entertainment of the chefs. I ordered the chicken and steak and they both were very good along with the other sides the chefs cooked up in front of us.“

“I had my order to go, the broth was great and so was the pork. I do think it had an okay amount of spice for it being “spicy” but I think I will order more chili next time. The noodles for me were too springy, but next time I just have to tell them to cook them longer. I got extra pork since I felt it wouldn’t have been enough and it’s a good thing I ordered the extra. BEST crab ragoons I ever had! And they were full, usually they skimp on the ration filling but they were amazing. I am definitely going back to eat there ?“

“My first time here and it was a nice time. We didn't get to do a wine tasting but we ended up sitting and sharing a couple bottles which was more than enough. Food was good even if i thought the portions were kind of small. Bringing someone with a wine club membership helped a lot with free bottles and the overall price.“

“The Mexican ice cream shop is a pretty good spot to treat yourself. It is located in the heart of Whitting. I stopped here on my way to the Mascot Hall of Fame. It is also by the beach. There is free street parking on the street in front of the shop. The shop is very clean and has a small dining area, with Mexican music playing in the background. They also have a table and a couple of chairs on the sidewalk that you can sit and dine on.Be sure to check in here on the Yelp app before you check out because I had a free scoop of ice cream reward when I checked in.They have an assortment of homemade ice popsicles, a couple of freezer full of ice cream and sorbets, banana splits, mangonadas, elotes, strawberries & cream, and yogurt. You can get your ice cream in a cup or various styles of cones. You can also allow you to sample the ice cream to help you to make the tough decision of what flavor to get.The staff there is very friendly and helpful. My littles got a scoop of bubble gum and a scoop of Superman ice cream. I got a mangonada. My kids loved their ice cream. They ate every little bit. My mangonada was equally good. I will admit that I always feel stupid when I come into a Mexican ice cream shop. I have no idea what some of the stuff is and find myself having to look it up. The ice cream is my guilty pleasure though.I really like this place. They have top notch service and delicious high quality ice cream. I highly recommend checking this spot out and treating yourself to one of their delicious treats.“

“On a journey to the Village of Matteson to retrieve lost treasures, we stopped for sustenance of the Olive Garden. The kids were hungry, and I was tired. After an enjoyable meal, we ventured onward to find the lost treasure.Kid-friendliness: They had crayons and games for my kids.“

“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“

“I did a pick up order from here and the food was pretty tasty! I ordered a smoked skillet and it was really tasty and my cousin had the Gypsy skillet. The service was fairly quick I ordered and picked up with 20 minutes. The inside is really nice, I will definitely be revisiting to sit down and order more food“

“This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I love this coffee shop. It's in the heart of downtown Homewood right by the Metra. The owner is very nice, and her shop is so cozy with lots of small business made products to choose from while you wait on your coffee to be made.“

“I had to take some time to share such a lovely experience with this place…I planned to join friends for dinner and due to lack of communication with friends we ended up having dinner in the Evergreen restaurant while our friends met at the Westchester restaurant. Haha! What an amazing experience, the staff, waiter’s all so pleasant and attentive! Strongly recommend this little gem on the south side. The food and martini options are out of this world. I strongly recommend this place… we ended our night with a night cap at the Westchester restaurant and had the pleasure to meet the owner “Thi Thi”… such a lovely woman. “So I visited the area for spring break and was taken to this restaurant by my Son and his Wife on March 18, 2024. I was very pleased with the ambiance. It's an intimate restaurant with a small waiting area that leads out to the eating entrance that has at least 10 tables ranging from 2 to 4 seats, two restrooms, drinking station used by the employees and the cooking area. The Waitress was pleasant and experienced. The presentation of each dish was mouthwatering as you can see. The taste was very much to my liking and seasoning to a minimum as it should be. The amount of food you get for the price is definitely feasible. Yes, you get your monies worth! The Cook that day was on point and delivered! He needs his own tip jar! The way he made the hashbrowns are unique with this mashed/hashbrown taste that melts in your mouth. My omelet was loaded with spinach, I definitely took in my daily dosage of Vitamin C for that day. Freshness and not overcooked was also key. Restaurants like this are fading away in St. Louis City and we need to "Bring Back America" with this here. In my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice, "I will be back".“

“I use to go to The Sweet Tooth when it was in Highland and have not been there since. New location, same great choices of candies, ice cream and sweets. I like going here and my kiddos loved it just as much.The workers were super nice too. The interior is well kept and decorated nice and friendly. Highly recommend stopping into this local place if you are nearby, you will not be disappointed!“
