“We are a family of 4, we weren't sure if a restaurant without Kids Menu was a good option for us. But our girls (6 and 13) loved every dish they tried. “We had a delightful evening at this restaurant! Despite arriving late for our 8 PM reservation, we were promptly seated. The ambiance is upscale yet welcoming. The oysters were superb, and the chef graciously provided off-menu options for my vegetarian wife. Our server was outstanding, and the bar drinks were satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon dish, and the cheese bread was delicious, especially when paired with olives. Overall, a five-star experience—we'll definitely return!“

“I was the day of coordinator for a recent wedding that rented out MadCats for their after party. I worked with Sauvio who had great communication and is super personable & a great host. He worked the event!! Great expert. Great food. And an incredible atmosphere for all the guests. Everyone had a great time!!“

“Atwater restaurant was superb. The only down side was the aspect of handicap accessible entrance and outside entrance handicap parking. The ramp wasn't very conducive for handicap wheelchairs, scooters or walkers. It is my request that the Herrington really examine accessibility to all would be ideal for future guests.“

The entire experience - start to end was beautifully executed by the management and staff. An absolutely outstanding experience! The table was beautifully decorated, the room was very appealing, and very importantly the entire restaurant is acoustically set up to allow for comfortable table conversation (it’s not too loud).The waiter, Nate (Nathan), was very professional, attentive, and proficient. He had a great personality and sense of humor. The service was as good as it can get! The other’s assigned to our table did a nice job executing good service as well. The quality (in every regard) of all of our meal choices was absolutely superb! “Excellent mocktails and ambiance. Also, great piano music. The bartender was extremely organized and attentive to all her customers. She's basically a one-woman-army: bartender/barback/manager combined into one. Furthermore, I was impressed with her ability to deal with drunk patrons. Sadly they don't have a kitchen.“

“Nice little dive bar. Found it as we messed up the train schedule coming back from Medinah and enjoyed some beer and pool. Close to the casino so we walked over there for a bit then headed back to the bar for a last round before catching the right train back home. Definitely an old building which is cool. Anyway great place, I won nearly 300, which paid for all those taquitos and drinks. Update - the police ended up bringing Betty home.
