“This place is family owned and they are very friendly and have a great selection of delicious ice cream. Went there with my grandkids, back in 2015 and never went to another place. Mr. Lim, the original owner, and his wife were like childhood friends for me and my family,and his passing was very sad to me and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His son is running the business now, and like his daddy, he is very friendly. God bless him , his mom and all the family.”

“I love this little place. Sometimes the drinks can be a little sweet, depending on what you get. But, you can always request to have it less sweet if need be. The people working here are so nice and the atmosphere is super cool and cozy. I love going here for my lunches. They get things done quick. ✨️⌛️Vegetarian options: Their pastries are super yummy. They also have fruit and different kinds of soups! ? ?Dietary restrictions: They have non-dairy milk options for your coffee. I've noticed that not every coffee place does here in Galesburg. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice in one week.The staff is amazingly friendly and kind, and we love watching them prep and make pizzas.The menu is full of great options, and there is always a daily special written on the wall. Speaking of walls, it is a chalkboard masterpiece! We spent our waiting time listening to music from the record player while drawing randomly on the walls with chalk. So cool!We've had garlic bread and and various pizzas. The crust is a perfect balance of crisp and fluff, and the flavors are so fulfilling. Drinks are mostly served in cans or bottles, and there is a water dispenser for easy free refills in the dining area.Vegetarian options: Their pizzas are fabulous, and I love the variety of meat-free options. The spinach and artichoke pizza (add Kalamata olives) is my fave!Parking: There is some street parking available, but this is a busy section of shops. I recommend going a block west or south and using the free parking lots available. You cam also park along Main Street and walk a block.Kid-friendliness: From flexible menu options to chalkboard walls, this is a fun and family-friendly space!Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is a single level right off of the sidewalk with one doorway. The dining area is spacious with various chair-height table options. Bathrooms are also spacious.”

“In summary: Typical bar grill atmosphere with better than normal food and an excellent server.Food I sampled: rueben tacos (5 stars), cajun pork and rice (my meal; 4.5 stars rice was a bit bland but they had soy sauce), fried mushrooms ( 4 stars), provolone cheese logs( 3.5 stars needs better dipping options) and fries (5 stars great large cut with crumble fries)”

“Today, I had the pleasure of dining in this lovely family owned restaurant. The atmosphere was quaint and beautiful. I met the sweet owner and daughter that run the restaurant, and they were delightful and made my day. The food was fresh, homemade, and delicious. I enjoyed trying a new style of authentic Asian cuisine, and I enjoyed everything that I tried! I honestly can't wait to go back because I'm already craving some more dumplings, ramen, bulgogi, kimchi, etc.! If you get a chance, stop through while you can because it is a truly wonderful experience and if you like food this is a place you should visit!!!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! They had no problem accommodating the children! It was a completely accepting of kids! So don't let no babysitter hold you back! Bring those kids ?.”

“Had a Princess Lolly Lotus beverage and it was delicious! My only issue is how sweet it is. I drank it down to 3/4 and then topped it off with Tangerine La Croix which made the drink easier to sip on. I will be back!”

“I got the country fried steak breakfast to go and it was delicious. It was ready to be picked up within 15 minutes. Very reasonably priced and portions were great. It was cheaper than breakfast at fast food joints. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back.”

“Flavor Freeze is so great. It's nostalgic if you ever went to the small town ice cream shop this is it! It's really small inside, and I didn't see any outside seating. However the ice cream is wonderful, lemon is my favorite, and the tenderloins mmm good stuff mainard. The staff was a one woman band. She has great skills, taking and preparing everything for everyone efficiently and effectively.Parking: It's a decent size gravel lot. So no handicap parking unless you can navigate thru the gravel.Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't like fries, and ice cream. It's a small place and I'm not sure if they have high chairs or booster seats. I'd probably take it to go.”

Lots of old knick Knacks, comfortable seating, quick service. Lots and lots of history here. I highly recommend the Coney Dog!”

“I got an order of Bun bo hue, shrimp Rangoon with sauce and a Thai tea and everything was great! The bun bo hue was a nice level of spice and it came with a packet of cayenne sauce to add an extra little kick if you want. The beef tendon was really tender and everything seemed very fresh. The portions were generous, definitely enough for two if you're willing to share. I have kind of a weird bubble tea order and they got it perfect and it arrived still ice cold. I'm absolutely ordering from here again, I recommend it to anyone who wants to get some good Pho locally.”

“Wheelchair accessibility: My grandparents are handicapped so they have a hard time getting their walkers out of the vehicle to walk up and order their ice cream. The kids working noticed, and now they just call in their order, and someone brings their order to the car. Talk about small-town hospitality! If you haven't tried castle cream, I recommend you do. You won't be disappointed!”

I always try ask ever worker how they are doing and when I do they stop and answer. “Always have to stop in when I'm in town seeing family! My favorites are the Peach Pear Smoothie ? ? and the Taragon Chicken Salad ? My husband loves the Baked French Toast and White Mocha! Definitely recommend stopping in!”
