When you step into any kind of restaurant, the first thing you'd notice is the cleanliness. In this particular McDonald's, it is unfortunately filled with flies in the entire back area of the dining section. I had seen that made a few customers leave the area after getting their food in a to go bag and not want to dine in because the group of flies wouldn't leave them alone. The regular employees doesn't seem to mind the cleanliness being unclean as they're not actively cleaning tables or sweeping the floor once the customers leave the tables. I would hope they keep their cooking area clean. Besides the cleanliness of this restaurant at Fountain Square, the employees are courteous and attentive. The food is cooked well most of the times, like fries cooked and served to order. Please, someone with a higher authority than a manager in management for this particular McDonald's, do something about the cleanliness.

I order food through the drive-through and we paid and they told us to wait in the reserve parking spot for food and we waited an hour and a force do I had to come out, but did a personal order before us got the food and we did it, so I just went in there and got my money back I wouldn’t recommend this McDonald’s

Had issues the one time I tried the stand--alone McDonald's down the road, wanted to try the new Cheesy Jalapeño breakfast sandwich so I mobile ordered a Cheesy Jalapeño Egg McMuffin. Got home & found a Sausage Egg McMuffin with Jalapeños...and no cheese sauce...and a muffin that was HEAVILY burned around the edge. Checked the app & found the only way to complain about a problem with an order was to return to the store, by the time I got there they would've been done serving breakfast so I just choked down what I was given.

Bird Terds

I bought 3 sausage burritos 1 medium fries and and coke on the app. And it never came!! I waited and 1 hour and still nothing. I decided to go to the store in person they said there is nothing on the computer sorry! I wasted 1 hour and a half of my time and $12 of my money for zero zilch nothing!!!

I come here 2-3 times a week and every time is the same problem…. Poor communication skills. Nothing against my Spanish people but please make sure the person is taking orders at the drive thru speaks fluently and understand English…. I have to repeat myself 2-3 times all the time…..

I ordered via the mobile app, thinking I was ordering from the nearby Waukegan Rd location… but nope, had to actually leave my car and walk into Walmart. No big deal, took about 3 min to get my order, probably faster than the long line at the drive thru spot. Free mocha coffee thanks to the app - tasted great compared to other McDs. Fries were warm.. not HOT, McDouble was average. Friendly staff too.

Yesterday that is on Monday evening 8:30pm I visit McDonald's with my family which is inside the Walmart I had a pathetic experience. The guy working there was rude and rushing for the order. I ask name of the guy he refuse to tell his name as he got scared because I will complain on his name for refusing to take my order. He told other staff to not to take order from me. When I ask for reason he didn't said anything and start refusing to take my order and tell me to go at any other store as he don't wanna serve me. It will be racism? Is he not getting paid for his work by McDonald's? He is very much sure that non of the senior can do anything to him if he continues doing the same? Any reason will be there but yes me with my family came out of the store without food just because of that guy so called ego. I also complained on McDonald's customer care too let see how management handle this as a good brand

The lady with the purple hair was so rude and I didn’t even do anything bad to her. The place was not busy, my order was not something complicated, and I was polite with her. I don’t know her personally as well. This was my first bad experience here and I’ve been here a couple of times. If you are going to choose which customers you want or if you do not want to be bothered, then it’s better for you to leave. I went there to buy food and not to see you! You ruined my day!

I went to this location 10-2-2022 As I went to pay supposedly the system was down and wasnt processing payment. My 8 year old was hungry. They refused any further service. I drove off and went to a gas station as I proceeded to use my card come to find out it was locked because LORENA decided to attempt to charge my card 5 times. I then called my bank. As I checked my balance I was charged 9.78. I went back to the restaurant and showed LORENA I was charged she brushed it off. Didnt even offer to replace my order or anything.
