“their boba was made to PERFECTION. as someone who’s addicted to boba, and drinks a lot of boba, this store by far has the best tapioca i’ve had. it’s 45 min away from me but i’ll definitely come back soon whenever i’m in the area! my rec: green milk tea with boba“
“Amazing workers, super respectful since I had a lot of questions on what lava milk and heart shaped jelly was. They were patient and friendly. There’s so many games in there to play that we stayed and enjoyed! Mango slushi was so delicious!Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“I found this gem by chance. The food is beyond amazing, I had the fermented seafood pho. OMG!!! The flavors were so good, and nothing was overpowering. You know you're in a great place when the owner is greeting customers like they're part of the family. This will definitely be a return visit the next time I'm in town.“
“I had the miso ramen and it was amazing! Really rich and tasty broth, lean meat, plentiful noodles! Taking half home for lunch on Monday (tomorrow is Easter)! Had a nice red wine as well. Awesome service and friendly owners. Great local find. ❤️“
“Today (Sunday, 1/29), was my 3rd time here! Great visit! I ordered the Ultimate Ace Milk Tea; it was really good —loved its honey flavor and smooth milkiness! The previous times i came here—Saturday 1/21 and Sunday, 1/22---were both great, too! On Saturday, I had the Dragonball Tea; on Sunday, the Grapefruit Lychee Jelly Tea--I'd definitely order both again! I haven't been to a tea house in about 6 or 7 years when I used to make the schlep to Highland Park to Billy Corgan's tea house, Madame Zuzu's! Umbrella Tea House is, so far, the absolute best I've ever been to (closer to home, not as pricey, better ambience, younger/more interesting clientele)! The tea selection is huge and interesting, the ambience is hip and surreal (loved the beautiful, trippy, lit up enchanted forest decor inside, plus the small comfy couch seating in the back, along with all the anime figures on the counter...So very COOL!!! The employees who work here are professional, knowledgeable, and efficient! Last, the clientele here is young, diverse and very cool without any pretension--I hung out for 2 hours each visit, loving my awesomely flavorful, relaxing tea and digging the surreal, chilled out vibe of the place and the atom collider of Millennial/Gen Z-ers who flooded the place after I came in each time! You could people watch all day! The first time I came in, a young dude with a long denim dress came in! Today, 4 Pakistani dudes with long black beards in traditional gown-like outfits came in! It was all too cool to see such diversity in 1 spot each time! Definitely coming back a few million more times!!“
“One of my favorite places!! The best pick me up. I come here at least once every other week. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is friendly. They have a cute light up sign that you can take pictures by and they have a good amount of seating too. My go to is the taro coconut with no boba. The pina colada, coconut coffee, mango, and strawberry are also really delicious! Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!!“
“First time eating here. Small place but was seated immediately. Everyone was super nice. Service was professional and prompt. Got 3 entrees to share. Good portion size. Not overwhelming. Food was excellent. Couldn’t be happier with the meal. Highly recommend.“
“My husband and I stopped in this adorable bubble tea spot before running errands and really enjoyed it. We ordered a coconut milk tea with coffee jelly - boy was this a delicious combo. We also got an Ube bubble tea with crystal boba - this by far was the prettiest purple ube milk tea I have ever seen. The crystal boba however was abl bit denser than regular tapioca so I probably wouldn't get it again since I prefer the other texture. We also got two mochi waffle bears - Nutella with crispies & biscoff butter - they were warm, chewy, delicious and very cute. Honestly, I love this little spot and it has such a creative and colorful display that is super aesthetically pleasing. On top of it all, the staff was very friendly and patient with our questions. I definitely would return next time we're back in town and I recommend you try it.“
“Boba King truly reigns supreme when it comes to refreshing beverages! The pineapple jasmine green tea with passionfruit is an absolute delight, blending the fragrant essence of jasmine with the tangy sweetness of pineapple and passionfruit for a truly tropical sensation. Their Matcha smoothie boasts a perfect balance of creamy texture and vibrant matcha flavor, providing a refreshing boost of energy. And let's not forget their piña colada smoothie, a creamy concoction of coconut and pineapple that transports you straight to paradise with every sip. Boba King's commitment to quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship shines through in every sip, making it a must-visit for any beverage enthusiast! And the young lady behind the counter was extremely polite and very thorough explaining the type of drinks and how they make them! I definitely will return!“
“Update 4/7/24It’s been like a year since I was last here but we decided to give it a try again. We came here for a late lunch. It’s located in a small outlet, so parking can be limited since it’s shared. They do have some places to sit and eat but it’s limited especially during peak hours. When we came in, we practically had the whole place to ourselves. I believe it’s family owned and the owners are very nice and attentive. They have one gender neutral bathroom. We ordered stir fried lamb with onions, sweet and sour pork with pineapple, and shrimp, chive, and egg dumplings. Portion sizes are very generous and prices are reasonable.-stir fried lamb with onions 5 - lamb meat is very tender, requires very little chewing.-sweet and sour pork with pineapple 5 - most Americanized Chinese places, the pork would be soggy, but here the skin is very crispy. Pork inside is succulent.-shrimp, chive, and egg dumplings 5 - I really liked how they listened to my feedback from last time and added more moisture inside. They were definitely juicier and tastier than before. Skin is thin, good sized dumplings, and flavorful.Rating is 4No, the owners have not changed. I recommend getting dishes that are not the typical Americanized Chinese dishes like mongolian beef. Try something new and different.Dumplings I would give 4/5. I’ve tried several different kinds but they could be juicier. They have good flavor, just a little dry. I’ve tried shrimp, chive, and egg, beef onion, lamb carrot, and chicken and cabbage mushroom.Scallion pancake was too dry for me. It could use more flavor.Quick fried sauteed intestines were very tasty. I really like this dish.Shredded pork dishes were good. Spicy is really spicy. Shredded pork is not dry, is moist and just a little chew.Portions are generous. Service is good, they take care of their customers. Prices are fair for all the food you’re getting.“
“Ordered from the machines with a Taro Pearl and Classic Pearl. The kids adjusted the ice and sugar levels and added lychee jelly. Prices are cheaper than other bubble tea places I have gone to. Good bubble tea place for a quick visit. For their competitive prices l, I give them a 5-star rating.“
“There’s no better ice cream.Try a scoop of Zoreo with a scoop of Banana on a waffle cone - for the perfect ice cream coma ??You won’t regret it!(At least not for the first 20 mins or so)So yummy ?The staff is always friendly and owner always kind.“
“Lovely little place in Naperville. Have only gotten the Salmon Obsession Bowl and it’s delicious every time. It’s a generous amount of fish and all other ingredients. They do have a lunch special with smaller size sushi bowl and a drink.“
“The boba here is the best boba out of any place in the western suburbs. I have tried several places in Oakbrook, Bloomingdale, Lisle and none have the freshness and consistency of the boba here. In addition, I have found them to also be the BEST PRICE and highest quality. My fiancé and I come here once a month at least and more in the warmer weather. Can’t go wrong with the pink flamingo drink with 50% sugar and brown sugar tapioca. Wish they had a rewards program :)“
“I'm was surprised to find a Korean-style chicken place around here but so so happy. They expanded their menu too and if you haven't had CupBop yet, give it a shot! It's got a little of everything. Of course, if you come in and get their fried chicken every time, I think you'll be very happy all the same. And my girlfriend says that me introducing her to Korean Corndogs changed her life.“
“Found Babam this evening just walking around downtown Wheaton. It was such a wonderful discovery! The owner spoke with us for quite a while, and since it was our first visit she made a suggestion. Though most people order cold bubble teas, we were looking for something hot. We went with the pumpkin pie chai, and it was crazy good! They also have Japanese-inspired baked goods. Highly recommend, really fun place.“
“I still love this place, but I’ve come here the last three weeks at around 2:45pm on Tuesdays, and it’s been closed even though their hours on the door say that they should be open. It’s very disappointing and they should probably edit their hours.I bought the brown sugar milk tea as well as the Thai milk tea with boba and both were amazing! The employees were also very friendly and the shop offers a wide variety of options!“
“Not from the neighborhood just stop by to get Ice cream. Felimon was so humble letting us try out a couple of their new ice cream flavor. My favor was the Ferrero Rocher. Totally going to stop by again. Next time I’m by the neighborhood. Thank you for the great service. (P.s they make there own personal ice cream‘s)“
