“Me and my husband stopped here after we got our dilated eye exams, so we had some time to kill. The parking lot was packed, but the dining room was spacious and we had no problem getting seated. Decided to order the 40-minute apple pancake. Additionally, we split a breakfast burrito during the wait. The food here is top quality!!! “This is a such lovely little cafe in Green Trails. This was the first time I’ve eaten here & all three of us had an amazing meal! I had the power chicken wrap. The flavor was phenomenal. Any reservations I had about a gluten free wrap were immediately gone after I took the first bite. The woman serving us was very lovely. “Stopped for a coffee with a friend on a weekday morning. It was very busy and all seats were taken but we managed to eventually snag a spot at the coffee bar. I went with a decaf caramel latte with oat milk. It was delicious and smooth with a nice strong espresso flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. They actually give a real cup of you dine in as well. The pastries looked great and they also serve a selection of sandwiches- I will have to try next time!“

There was also plenty of seating and it was clean inside. I had a blackberry brownie and a blueberry basil matcha latte. I typically dislike sweet drinks so I was hesitant to order the latte. However, it wasn't overly sweet and the flavor was interesting (in a good way). The blackberry brownie was rich and also delicious. My child had a big chocolate chip cookie and devoured it instantly. She kept saying that she wanted to know if there was something wrong with the service, but she knows what she was doing. I honestly never in my life have ever had anyone do something like this, I was shocked! Not to mention there were other people sitting around and she was pointing at each of us telling us what we gave her for a tip! It was the most absurd thing! The audacity!So she finally walks away and I go ask for the manager, who happened to be the guy that I asked if she was still there. His name was Sam and he was very nice and very apologetic, he said he was embarrassed and that he would let the owner know. I sure hope he did because employees like this (speaking of employees like that, there were a couple of them behind the deli counter giving us some of the hardest looks, they must be friends!) are going to drive away customers! The portobello mushroom focaccia was cooked very well and the portobello itself was very tender and paired well with the peppers and balsamic vinaigrette inside. My breakfast quesadilla was very flavorful and ample in size (plus it came with sides of sour cream, guac and salsa). Half of it came home with me. My husband's sandwich (Glen Forest) was grilled chicken with bacon, cheddar cheese and bbq sauce on sourdough bread. It came with a cup of soup and he opted for the chicken noodle which was hearty and delicious. The fries were fantastic (the double fried kind) and he had leftovers as well. We were told that the owner/manager believes that the amount of gravy on the hot sandwich is sufficient. It was not enough as far as I was concerned and maybe others feel the same. Overall I would come back I just hope for more transparency about what the Ingredients are in each drink :)“

“My mother-in-law has dementia and she had run into here, so naturally I had to run in after her (always turn on the child locks on your minivan lol). When I entered the doors, I expected to be greeted with Betty screeching and threatening to call the police, but what I found instead was the warm welcoming embrace of the Winning Circle. The sound of video gaming machines sang an angelic chorus to my weary ears. The bartender welcomed me to take a seat. That's when time stopped, and I saw bathed in glorious light the words, "Taquitos $4". As in a dream, I ordered without even realizing that words were coming out of my mouth. They served me a colossal drink, and I plopped into one of the comfortable seats by the video one armed bandit. Now I know what you're thinking, you're probably wondering if the chair broke. Everything I have ever tried has always been fresh, tasty, and amazing. Pricey but worth it in every way. Gorgeous cakes of all sizes and types were ready for purchase. You can see cakes being decorated through the window which is fun. The breads (raisin & milk loaves) are larger-sized /taller than regular bread and pre-sliced into 9 slices. Very fresh and tasty. The egg custard buns are fluffy and light, as well as the sugar buns. The beautiful little fruit tortes are absolute perfection.“

It was a real pleasure talking to Mary, who is not only selling great coffee and scones (more tasty and affordable than the chain stores), but working with other stakeholders in the space to keep the building clean while also maintaining a vegetable garden on the grounds surrounding the station. After talking with her, it's obvious to me that she is pursuing a labor of love, and she is a true inspiration. I can't think of a more pleasant way to board the train in the morning, or just hang out for a game of chess when things are quiet during the day. More towns should get creative like this and make these kinds of spaces more inspiring, rather than just a drab place to gather while in a rush to get somewhere else.“
“I am a regular here - at least twice a week. The place has independent coffee house vibes, wood floors, and lots of places to sit alone or in groups.Coffee is always excellent. The baristas are very good and know the product.The muffins and pastries are great, but my favorite is their BLT. Seriously the best BLT on the planet.Last they are friendly. Not smarmy but in some coffee houses you almost feel like you are interrupting their day to order something. Always greeted well here.“
