“I love this restaurant. It was my second visit and it did not disappoint. The first time we sat at the bar and got great service, that's just more my vibe in general. I drive 40 minutes just to eat here, is that good.”

While the food was delicious and the overall ambiance and decor of the restaurant was cozy, it was our server that made this dining experience over the top, great! HECTOR, you are a gem, a diamond! You have an absolutely charming personality and made my mother in law’s birthday dinner an experience to remember! From your spot on suggestions, to your lovely rendition of “Happy Birthday”, to the funny banter, our whole family left talking about how wonderful you were! The pizza is th Star !!
Last few times the food was not as on par with the first 3-4 times.
Staff was slow and food was slow.
The first few times i went was when they first opened.

“Delicious, no matter what you get! I’ve been going there for over 50 years. Whether it be yellow smile cookies which have always been a favorite, tea cookies, donuts, coffee cakes or cakes, they’re always delicious! Everyday items or special occasion cakes, we only go to Kirschbaum’s❣️”

“This place is the best! The employees are always very kind and helpful, the cupcakes are always moist and delicious, and I love that they custom make gluten free cupcakes! Another cool thing about this shop is they’re always innovating and trying new things - supporting local coffee vendors by selling cold brew, selling ice cream, and making really beautiful custom designs for cakes and cupcakes. 5 stars for sure.”

“We dined at Hillgrove Tap for a Moms day out event today. They were fantastic handling our group. Service was excellent. Food was fantastic. And they were so organized. “I've been going there ever since they opened up many years ago. There are many of the same staff there and they work their butt off! And the place is just the absolute best hands down! I just found my new fave sandwich...the Turkey on a plain toasted bagel and it comes with lettuce, red onion, tomato &some sort of mustard. It's amazing!”

if ur an adult all the teenagers come here and it’s super crowded, it took me 20 mins to get my order.
They had 3 people behind the bar kudos to them.
To be fair it’s the first day that they released the winter drinks but omg I had to say excuse me several times just to get through.”

“Quick friendly service to make sub sandwiches just the way you like them. Miss the $5 footlong that now cost $10 or more, but it still is a freshly made good quality sandwiche that fills you up. Place is kept nice and clean with easy to read menu on the wall. Good location near LTHS South Campus so you always see students and staff from school at this location.

Parking: Close to store is public parking lot, have always found a parking spot anytime of day.

“My husband and I stopped at the Salerno's location after picking up some bakery at Kirschbaums! I grew up eating pizza from the Berwyn location(which moved to Oak Park). Our waitress was very nice and helpful. We ordered the largest pizza, so we could have leftovers too! Was delicious, as all Salerno's pizza!”

“Great place for tacos! Ordered the dinner combo with three pork belly tacos. The rice was okay, but the refried beans were excellent. Tacos were exceptional! Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Staff were very friendly and served us quickly. I am looking forward to returning and trying other menu items.”

“My husband and I were very impressed with the food. It's made fresh and is delicious. The fries tasted great and were not greasy. My husband had a huge delicious hamburger that he couldn't finish in one sitting. I had the steak shawarma which I enjoyed very much. We sat outside because the weather was perfect for it. The people working there were friendly and polite. We were definitely impressed.”
