“Sen Sushi is a tad hidden off of Oak Park Street near Addis’ Cafe. It’s a clean no frills place that offers good amount of specialty rolls and great Sashimi and Nigiri sets. They don’t take reservations and it is small, but seems like turn over is pretty fast. Definitely a place to try if you want decent sushi this side of the burbs.Parking: There is paid parking in front of the building or if u go about half a block down, free parking in front of the houses.“

“Can't believe I haven't dropped this place a review yet. It's my go to place for a summer day when I'm looking for a little bit of a lighter vibe for lunch. I've always gotten the build your own bowl and it's yet to disappoint. Portions are generous. Have gotten the donuts a couple times and they were light and tasty with plenty of amazing sounding options. Consistent, good quality tasting food. Always have ordered online and always given the correct food with timely, friendly service. Inside is kept very clean. Will definitely keep this place in rotation and at some point will have to try some more of the menu. Glad to have this place in Elmhurst!“

“Ever since my go to restaurant Hong Min closed, I have been searching for a new Chinese restaurant. I live 4 minutes away and my girlfriends wanted to try this new restaurant Harmony in Palos Heights. They both ordered Pina coladas and they said it's pricey but pretty delicious. My dirty martini is gross. Dirty martini was my choice of drink so I've had quite a few and this is one that normally tells you they don't know what they're doing. It's just straight up vodka. No vermouth and no brine. Nothing but vodka with ice.Service was pleasant. Very friendly and the place was pretty big. Love how spacious the booths are which was very comfortable.Pot stickers was big and doughy and I had the Mongolian beef and it was delicious but it is spicy. I can eat spice and this was right up my alley. Chicken fried rice was also pretty good. Love how big the portions are and not skimpy at all.If my dirty martini was good, I probably would have given them 5 stars. It is my fault for ordering a dirty at a Chinese restaurant but with a liquor license, I expect that's doable. They could have simply say, please order from the menu or wine. We don't do martinis. Still a decent 4 stars. Will definitely be back for other dishes maybe no alcohol for me.“

“Food was delicious. We wanted to find a ramen spot and we were not disappointed in our orders. It would have been nice to have more than the two options for ramen, but it was well prepared and flavorful. The noodles I especially enjoyed, since they were a little chewy. We also had appetizers and a miso soup, which was also very yummy. Service was reasonable and responsive. Music was modern and pop, too.“

“Hamds-down my absolute favorite sushi restaurant in the western suburbs of Chicago. The Asian Tacos and Crazy Jalapeño are a must for starters and I've yet to have a specialty roll I didn't love, to include a few off-menu rolls. Be sure to ask your server about those. Speaking of the staff, very friendly and equally attentive. The speed of service is also above par. Nabuki is certainly a spot worth visiting the next time you're in Hinsdale.“

“We tried BNK for the first time last night, and could not have been happier! The mini crab & veggie spring rolls were delicious (we fought over the last ones) and the Spicy Peanut Sauce dish with chicken was so good I licked the plate :)“

“I recently ordered here and had the for to taste the spicy chicken and beef wagyu which were delicious, but the tokoyaki stood out more than anything for me. The ability to order and readiness was also worth appreciating. Highly recommended“

“While it's a wee little place that often isn't crowded, the staff is on the ball and the food is better than you might expect. They do a serious take out business for a reason and their prices are reasonable especially for the fresh food.“

“Loved it and I'll be back! So I'm new to the burbs and was ecstatic when I found out there would be this trendy fusion restaurant opening up. My husband and I stumbled upon it on a Saturday early evening - just in time for an early dinner. I'm a huge Mexican food aficionado so I know my Mexican food. It's not your typical authentic Mexican food that you'd find in the city, but a bit more contemporary and still flavorful - and I can appreciate that! We ordered the guacamole with chips and salsa which I thought were great. We also ordered the Al pastor tacos, the chicken tinga and carne asada. We ended our dinner with the Mexican donuts. Overall, I would go back and order all of it except the chicken tinga which was a little too sweet for my liking. My favorite was the Al pastor. My husband loved the carne asada. I also had a delicious watermelon mocktail not listed on the menu but something the bartender created on a whim. Best of all, the staff and our server were extremely friendly and attentive. We had such a great experience, I would definitely be back and it feels wonderful to have something fun and new in town.“

“This is a hidden gem and hole in the wall. If you’re a fan of Wasabi Ramen, this ramen is a close second on the west side. They have Studio Ghibli themed decor, relaxing vibes. BYOB. I’ve come here a few times already! There is usually one waitress there at a time. If it’s packed, be prepared to wait a little. My only complaint is that it’s always cold in there, but bring a sweater, you’ll be fine.“

“Sushi House in Oak Park is a true gem! Mike's exceptional service, combined with the best margaritas I've ever had, made our visit unforgettable. The fire dragon roll stole the show, presented with a torch for added flair. Everything was so good that we had to return the next day. And don't forget to check out the dope speakeasy in the basement—it's a hidden culinary haven that adds a touch of sophistication to the overall experience. This spot is a must-try! ????“

“Nice entryway. I was greeted immediately upon walking in & seated right away. The waitress (Annie) was nice and prompt. The restaurant was clean.I ordered the Alaskan Roll with Miso Soup & Edamame. I ordered shrimp fried rice to go. Everything was fresh and came out quickly. The rolls were thick and meaty. The meal was accompanied by wasabi, soy sauce and chop sticks. However, the sushi doesn't need sauce or any additional items. It was delicious. The fried rice is some of the best I've tasted.Parking: Free, but limited parking on the street.“

“I have celiac disease and Teriyaki Madness has quite a few gluten free options. I had been missing chicken teriyaki and fried rice for a long time and was so happy when I found out that TM offers them gluten free. I come here way too much (a few times a week) and feel totally safe with their gluten free options as they have never made me sick in any way. I hope this chain expands so I can have a location closer to home! (Naperville).“

“Strip mall sushi spots now populate virtually every urban area in the U.S. It's funny to think that 25 years ago, sushi restaurants were few and far between, and for most folks the notion of eating raw fish was completely absurd. 25 years later and they dot the landscape like fast food chains. Most people have their go-to spot for strip mall sushi, and Ichiban is probably that spot for a lot of people. They're not breaking any new ground here, but the service is good, the restaurant is clean and the sushi is delicious. I've only been there a few times for their all-you-can-eat lunch special, and at $21.95/pp the value is right there. They do offer an extensive menu that features a bigger variety of sushi, as well as Cantonese and Hibachi entrees. I would like to visit again in the evening and sample some of the other items offered on their menu. The all-you-can-eat lunch special features appetizers, pieces of nigiri, common rolls, and a selection of specialty rolls. All of the items I've had have been really good. Great spot to go for a reasonably priced, delicious lunch!“

“The food was pretty good! We started with the shumai which came with a delicious spicy sauce. Our rolls were all pretty good, with our favorite being the turtle roll. The spider roll was probably my second favorite after that. The only thing we didn't love was our rolls came out in waves instead of all together which was kind of annoying, but maybe they were busy or something. Our waitress was also very kind. Overall solid dinner and we both agreed we would come back if we were in the area again.“

“I am honestly so confused by this place. We visit family in the area about once a year and I always look forward to the Pad See Ew here, they get the noodles so wonderfully crunchy, they are the best noodles I've ever had. The Pad Thai on the other hand is pretty disgusting... overcooked, mushy noodles, generic, bottled sauce, and hardly any veggies at all. I know that the owners are not Thai but how can they do one noodle dish so well and fail so hard at another??? Egg rolls are good.“

“I am changing my old negative review. I missed their food and gave them another try. To my amazement the food was like when they first opened. The fish seem fresher and the bowl was filled to the brim. The best poke bowl ever. So happy to see they turned things around with better quality and quantity.wiseMy old reviewI had been going there since they opened. The last time was a repeat of my vomiting the smelly tough tuna all over myself. Originally the bowls would be filled to the top. The photo shows my last meal there. Probably half of the how the portions used to be. Needless to say I have not gone back. This is the only sushi place where the tuna has been smelly and tough.“

“Me and wife went for dinner, we're Sushi lovers and we ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls, plus the agadashi tofu. They were delicious, I can't say the best, but there tasty. I would definitely recommend the place.Service was great, no complaints about it.The atmosphere was ok, we could talk over dinner and enjoy ourselves, not like other loud places.Place wasn't crowded even on a Friday. So we were sitted right away.I can't say this will be my new favorite sushi place, but I will definitely come back eventually.“

“First time here and it was amazing! 4 adults and one baby, seated right away. Service was top notch, super friendly. Food was really fresh and soooo good, better than we expected for an all-you-can-eat meal! Lots of options on the all-you-can-eat menu, too. Sushi, Mochi dessert, salad, and apps were all excellent. We will absolutely be back!“
