I went there with my husband recently. Everything was excellent, from the food to the service to the ambiance. FILET OF SALMON and FILET MIGNON SOUVLAKI KABOB were excellent, the service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance was welcoming and warm. We had a great time and will definitely return soon.
We have now dined twice at this fairly recently opened Greek Tavern just north of Evanston. The food is excellent. Squid appetizers, the moussaka, lemon rice soup, all great! I had the sea bass which is grilled whole and then fileted at the table by your server, if you wish. So so good! Y’all need to visit Taverna Naxos in Wilmette and have an Aphrodite‘s Kiss made by Rosanna. It’s their Greek version of an Old Fashioned and is truly fantastic.
