“Smooth, creamy, with a bit of crunch and so decadent and healthy. Who said you can't have the best of two worlds?? It's definitely on the pricey side but it's in a popular part of Chicago so that's to be expected. I stopped by here after many runs I did during the 100 degrees weather weeks.. and the delicious smoothies were worth every sip! They can customize them to your liking if you want to swap out certain ingredients. Service was super friendly and recognized my sweaty face after my second visit which made me laugh. I especially loved the maca protein smoothie. Take my money.“

“First off, the service was excellent. Michael did an amazing job. He knew the menu from front to back. He spoke loud enough so everyone at the table could here him even in a noisy, crowded restaurant. He deserves a big shout out! The food came out quickly and was presented in a very nice manner, congrats to the food runners. The food was absolutely delicious, congrats to the kitchen staff. Over all it was a great Mothers Day choice and we will certainly be back and not just for a special occasion.“

“Hands down 5 stars. The food is very delicious, especially the pancakes which are all unique. I really like the berry pancakes. The mushroom omelette I had was phenomenal ( I added Swiss cheese and avocado to the original) and my mother had the gluten free s'mores version and loved it. The veggie skillet was decent but probably wouldn't order again. We also had crepes which were very sweet. The service was quick and efficient despite being totally packed. You didn't feel rushed or forgotten. We put ourselves on the virtual waiting list because there is always a wait, even on weekdays.“

Got seated right away and after reviewing the menu, went with Hokkaido Cha-Shu Ramen and small order of Karrage.Chicken was perfectly fried, only had few pieces and took the rest home because I wanted to enjoy the ramen. Now, I'm not a fan of miso ramen, but their version was better than what I had expected and had in many other joints in the states. I was bit lost with the two potato wedges they threw in there and the cha-shu was bit dried unfortunately.Service was awesome, water got filled w/o me asking and food came out quickly. The place got busy after 5pm and by the time I left, all the tables were occupied. Would recommend you visit before the dinner rush.“

“I decided to have french toast because of the attractive pictures on here. I tried the monthly special ube french toast. The sweet cream sandwiched between the toasts and the ube sauce were delicious. It looked very artistic too! I also like how the toasts were not drenched in syrups. My boyfriend had the smoked salmon plate and he enjoyed it too. This restaurant seems very popular as I had to wait in line for around 15 minutes on a Sunday morning before getting seated. Glad the waiting area had chairs so I didn't have to stand in line. This place is right across from Advocate Lutheran General hospital where my boyfriend will be working at. It was our first time here and he was suggesting coming here again!“

“Ethio Beans Ethiopian Restaurant! Authentic Ethiopian food in Carol Stream, IL, we are fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive from our house. We've been ordering lunch/dinner from there for the last 6 years or so, the owners are incredibly kind as they take our orders and as they present our takeouts.We absolutely love the Special Spicy Chicken curry which is Chicken curry seasoned with Blend Red Pepper and Veggie combo, which is Lentil Curry, Yellow Split Peas, Greens, Cabbage. Of course, all accompanied by famous Ethiopian flatbread called Injera (a well fermented flatbread we use to pinch and hold the food with our fingers (no need for silverware)). We recommend getting a family platter with a few different veggies and meat options so you can taste multiple dishes. Everything is delicious, from the veggie’s combo to the meat variety to the coffee...amazing!!! The location is a bit hidden in a plaza so don't miss it! Parking, no problem!If you happen to be in the Carol Stream area, we highly recommend trying Ethiopian food at Ethio Beans with a group of friends/family that want to try something new, so much fun with kids as well. It's absolutely a great social way to eat. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. We have been going there for about 3 years now, and I can say with 100% honesty, no other place treats us better and like family more than the staff there. The staff is always so genuinely happy to see us, remembers our milestones (we just had twins and the staff have gone above and beyond to be accommodating in ways we’ve never experienced before) and always make us feel special.And that doesn’t even cover the amazing food and service they provide every time we’ve gone.
