“We had Morgan and she was phenomenal!!! It was our first time here and she recommended some amazing options and we went with her recommendations. I got the pumpkin pancakes and I was so excited to eat them, I forgot to take a picture. My husband got a bowl of soup and it was so big we laughed. My husband loved the cream of chicken chipotle soup. We will most definitely come back and ask for Morgan.“

“We started with glasses of wine- a red and a white. We ordered tuna salad and the salmon salad. We split those. They were excellent and more than enough for 2. Coffee came next with key lime dessert and a totally chocolate delight. Very busy so slow points, but the food and waitress made it delightful“

“We dined at Seasons 52 to celebrate both our 50th wedding anniversary and my birthday. We requested and were seated in a booth in the main dining room. Our waiter Gani Keyifli was amazing. When he heard our reasons for celebrating he brought two little signs for the table. One saying Happy Birthday and one saying Happy Anniversary along with two cards for the occasions. Gani made excellent menu recommendations. The ahi tuna tartare, chicken pesto mozerrella flatbread, wood fire grilled filets and martinis were delicious. Gani surprised us with a indulgent dessert too. He made the evening special. Thanks Seasons 52 for an excellent dinner and experience. I can't wait to return for a lunch or happy hour soon!“

“Good was very good. Service was very slow. Ordered a bottle of wine and a blue moon. Beer arrived at least five minutes before the wine. Bar staff brought the beer but they waited for server to bring the wine. Very loud in the place. I don't believe Frances had too many tables, she was just slow.“

“This place is delicious Filipino American fusion food. We came in for brunch and the service was fantastic and the food even better. Will come back again. Glad to finally find a nice contemporary Filipino dine-in restaurant in the suburbs. Atmosphere is a vibe.

We ordered the ube chicken and waffles and the classic tocino spam breakfast, and pandesal. Wish there were more pieces of spam for the breakfast, since the dish only had two thin slices. The Chicken was a hit! Pandesal was pillowy soft.“

“On August 16, 2024 my dear friend Eberta Wright celebrated her 103 birthday. We celebrated it at The Lazy Dog Restaurant in the Highlands were we used to go for lunch every Sunday after church. Our waiter was always Carlos. One Sunday he told me to let him know when she was to celebrate her next birthday because he wanted to do something special for her. I called him and told him it was here so he talked to his manager and WOW!!!!! Kyla, Alexa, Andrea and Carlos put together a spectacular birthday celebration. Mrs. Wright and I both were so surprised and delighted with what they did. The decorations, the gorgeous flowers the cupcakes that Kyla made and decorated to spell out her birth year. Everything was just wonderful. Carlos came in on his day off and got to have lunch with us. He is a very special young man. In fact everyone there is very special. The Lazy Dog will always be my number one restaurant not just because of the good food but because they are a group of very special people.“

“Dined on a Sunday evening, arrived without a reservation & was seated in minutes. Dark wood interior, low lighting, real candles burning on tables.
Steak rolls with spicy ranch appetizer were very good. We had sea scallops & grilled Ahi tuna, both were delicious!
Team service was fine but not attentive considering it was not busy.
Overall a lovely experience for the $$$.“

“My friend had heard good things about the food at Modern Plate, so we decided to give it a shot. Very glad we did! The weather was delightful, so we were able to enjoy their outdoor seating. However, their indoor space looked very inviting. We started with a few very tasty cocktails (shout out to the blood orange gin fizz!). We ordered a variety of appetizers and dishes. While everything was delicious, the short rib parmesan risotto was my favorite. But the best part was truly the service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything that we ordered and were able to tailor the orders to some of our pickier eaters. I look forward to visiting again soon!“

“This is the best restaurant in Wheaton. The menu is constantly changing and the chefs continue to knock it out of the park. The ingredients are top of the line (example: the tuna crudo offers better quality raw tuna than any of the sushi restaurants around here), the dishes are creative without being over-complicated, and the cocktails and wine options are fantastic. Lastly, the service is incredible. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable of the food and drink menus. Worth every penny.“

She was attentive, efficient, and friendly. She accommodated a party of 15 and made it look easy. We never had to look for her because she was constantly making her rounds and checking on us. I couldn’t be happier with our experience and it made my birthday one to remember. We will definitely be back!“

“We went for an early dinner on Sunday night and it was delicious. My husband and I had the salmon. I high recommend it. All of the food was VERY good. Even the Tiramisu (which I’m usually not a big fan of)was so good! So glad we tried it. We will definitely be going back again!“

“We had the breaded tenderloin and avocado grilled cheese. Both were very good. We sat on the patio which was nice, chairs hardish for a long sit and tolerable noise from Irving. We spent about an hour and a half, eating and chatting.

The dining room area is very nice and they have peppermint candies!! Hardly ever see that anymore.

Can be a bit difficult to take a left out of the parking lot.

“Tried I Love Fries for the first time today. I was seriously blown away how tasty, fresh, and delicious my order was. The fries were crispy and not soggy eventhough it was covered in cheese and bacon. It's a hidden gem in Villa Park and worth a shot. I will be back soon to try other fries.“

“My husband and I love Perry’s Steakhouse! The steaks are the best, Cesar’s Salad, calamari, and cheesecake is phenomenal! So tasty and our favorite waiter is Edward, what great personality! “Tonight our family took fall portraits and our photographer gave our daughter a plastic spider ring that quickly became a very prized possession. After photos, we went to dinner at Ditka's Grill. Our daughter was using her bread plate to play with the ring. At some point during dinner, the bread plates had been cleared… ring & all. I went out on a limb and mentioned it to the hostess. My daughter had gotten curious about the ring but so far, we had avoided meltdown territory. The hostess let the General Manager, Zach, know about the situation. About 10 minutes later, Zach approached our table, knelt down in front of our daughter, and held out the (freshly cleaned) ring. “I believe this belongs to you, miss?” he said. My jaw is still on the ground. Thank you Ditka’s Grill and Zach for going so far beyond customer service. You are a GEM! Also the steak, seafood, cocktails, and wine were spectacular - as usual.“

“Pumpkin's Place is in the heart of Maywood. The atmosphere is what is expected of a carry-out neighborhood "joint". However, the food is great! The Turkey Tips, Rib Tips and chicken wings are so quite delicious. The meat is seasoned well, then the amazing BBQ sauce makes this one of the best places for BBQ. I've never tried the sides because they don't look appetizing, but I did have the cobbler once. Surprisingly it was good. I say that because restaurant cobbler is usually unremarkable. The only downside is that it closes at 5 p.m. and the tips are usually sold out early. The great thing is it's open on Sundays so I can get my meats right after church.“
