“I loving refer to Sukey's as my Chinese hood spot. It's a great local restaurant that serves that comfort Chinese food. When we order carry out, we get sweet and sour chicken, beef Lo Mein, crab Rangoon, and egg rolls. The sweet and sour chicken is plentiful and very crispy, with plenty of sauce. The beef Lo Mein noodles are cooked well and taste great, but my favorite part of the meal is the crab Rangoon and their one of a kind egg rolls. Of all the Chinese restaurants I've been to, no one makes egg rolls like Sukey's. When we dine in, we get the dinner for two. You can beat the price for the amount of food. Why did I only give my favorite Chinese restaurant 4 stars? The restaurant is not pretty. The interior is a hodge podge of cheaply done work, but it does have a certain charm. The folks that run the place are the real deal. I am sad to say there is a FOR SALE sign in the window. I've been afraid to ask if it's the building for sale or the business. I hope they don't close. The people working in the restaurant are older and I fear this is the end. It would be shame, they seem like nice people and I would miss their take on classic Chinese dishes including the St. Paul sandwich, which is a St. Louis original.“
“Got there late so they never refreshed the food or brought out new, But what was there was still better than most buffets we have been to.Dietary restrictions: Not really allergy friendly. It's a buffet so not really anything they can do.“
“I am very pleased with my service they were quick and pleasant. I'm not sure if it was an accident, but they threw in a couple cans of soda too!! Haven't even tried the food yet, but I've seen many good reviews and so far it's been a great experience. Thanks for your hard work!!**UPDATE**The food was great too! HUGE shrimp in the coconut shrimp ?“
“There is just no other Chinese food restaurant in the area that measures up to this place. Tried it for the first time tonight and was shocked by how much flavor the food had. The General Tso's chicken was actually spicy and the vegetable lo mein had so many vegetables in it. The crab rangoon is the best I've had in the area, and the egg rolls were huge and stuffed with flavor. And this place is so cheap compared to other places in the area! You get the most for your money, that's for sure. I will only be coming here for my Chinese food from now on.“
“The food is great! The service is great! I highly recommend going there to eat and have a great time! The employees are always super friendly and willing to help you out. Brandon especially is so kind and helpful! He understood I was having a bad day and definitely made the moment right with me. Pearl is an amazing owner and I’m so glad to have a family owned business so close to me to support!Parking: The parking is a little small and tight. Accidents can definitely occur if someone is not perfectly straight and in their lane.“
“Lived in the area my whole life, this place has always delivered amazing food. Obviously, just your average "China Star" but the family that owns the place is awesome, delivery is always surprisingly fast, and the food never disappoints! Surprisingly cheap “
“I have looked for Chinese food that is as good as what I eat in Florida and I was thrilled to discover the food at China King is as good if not better than what I eat in FL! Really, outstanding flavor and freshness. The portions are huge and the service great. Unbelievable pricing too. We have had the orange chicken, honey chicken, Kung Po chicken, General Tso chicken, crab Rangoon, and egg rolls. All fantastic.“
“We absolutely love 88 China! The food is always delicious and you can't go wrong with the dinner combo plates, I'm able to get two meals out of my dinner combos! The food is always amazing, and super hot even with delivery, which is always super quick! Customer service, and the delivery drivers are always so sweet! If you're craving Chinese food definitely give them a try!“
“I was in search of a great St Paul sandwich. I was told by a friend to drive from St Louis County to Alton, IL for such a sandwich. I was not just happy with the quality but I was now spoiled for all future St Pauls that were not Chongs Chop Suey! Sandwiches include Egg Foo Young patty, full with your favorite meat and vegetables - , green / regular onions, bean sprouts on white bread with mayo, lettuce and pickles (sans the pickles for me) The patty has a crisp coating and adds flavor to the sandwich - yumm!! I also bought a small pork fried rice with bean sprouts - it was really good. Seems that they add a lot of pepper to the rice so ask for light pepper but I'm a pepper lover and loved it! Ignore the online hours posted, they seem to be incorrect. They open at Noon on Saturdays! After looking up the weekend hours, which said they open at 10am, I drove to Alton ti make an 11am lunch order, but they were closed. I waited til noon, and they opened promptly! Call during daylight hours to ensure they are open for your visit! I will continue to drive to Alton every Saturday to enjoy this wonderful sandwich!“
“Updating my review: I chose Hing Wah for dinner last night after reading reviews of other Chinese restaurants in the area (I definitely didn't want to go to one that reviewers often say is "dirty" looking) and was pleasantly suprised. They only have 3 tables but they were all wiped down, the chairs were clean, the floor looked mopped, and there were boxes all over the dining area but they were neatly stacked and organized. I ordered from the Specials menu and it was great. It was one of the few times I ate the entire thing and not throw away half into the trash. Even the white rice seemed better than other restaurants. I'll definitely be going back.Great inexpensive Chinese, and they have the St. Paul sandwich.“
