“I grew up in buffalo grove and yen yens is hard to beat! But green garden is closest to home out in woodstock! Their hunan chicken and singapore noodle my goodness so yum! Their egg rolls are my fav. Love the owners lived herev16 years and they never dissapoint!“
“Fun, kitschy old-fashioned tiki bar with great cocktails (especially mai-tai’s), yummy egg rolls, and various tasty and reasonably priced Chinese dishes, nicely presented. Our favorite is the Har Sue Pea Pod. If you’re lucky you might have Danny as your server; he has been there 54 years now, and I’ve never had better, warmer customer service! Live music adds to the atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights or try karaoke night for a lot of fun. In the summer, the large outdoor patio is lovely too.“
“Little Rice Is one of the best Sushi Restaurants I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot but this one is one of my favorite because there sushi Is just perfect, Also by the back you can find the chefs making And cutting your sushi. (You must Order a Sushi boat if you’re in a group, So good!)“
“Pretty good food with generous portions. I paid about $14 per person, but got more than 3 meals out of the "large" size meals. This is one of the few restaurants my kids request other than fast food. Keep in mind it is CARRY OUT OR DELIVERY ONLY. No dining room.“
“we've been going to Chen's for over 30 years at least once a month. people are awesome, the food is outstanding and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. disregard negative reviews. anyone that goes there on a regular basis would highly recommend. a nice family restaurant not a chain.“
“Lovely Chinese-American food. Run by some rad bachan (grandmas). The food was so good. My pepper beef actually tasted like pepper, and the beef was so tender. My wife got the sesame chicken and the flavor was so delicate. They even have a full bar. Absolute classic. Support them today. Do expect some relaxed service and the seats have tape on them. But the place is just old school. It's worth it.When bachan points to a menu item and shouts "yum yum" and gives you a thumbs up. Order that item. You can't go wrong.I'm going to head back sometime and see if I can elbow my way into some secret menu items. I would bet if you ask nicely they'll make you some "real" food. People who know, know.“
“Chop Suey Hut's entrees are the best chinese I've had around. The drunken spaghetti was the definite winner and SO flavourful, but the basil chicken was also yummy. Maybe the best crab rangoon I've ever had. Entrees were $15-$16 and portions remind me of places that serve family style - each one was 3 meals. Our waitress was fabulous. We will definitely back!“
