“We stopped at this location on our way home to Lexington KY from Kansas. This was the first time we have eaten at this location but we stop at Bearno's almost every time we visit Louisville. We always order the Super Mama Bearno's special and take it home and eat it for a few days. The pizza at this location was THE BEST one we have ever had! “This was a really good Papa John’s experience. The store was clean and super busy when I went in to pick up my order, but they were appropriately staffed and had everything moving quickly.

My order was ready fast, everything was hot and fresh, and the food looked and tasted great. Even with how busy they were, nothing seemed rushed or thrown together. It was also 100% correct; exactly what I ordered.

Overall, just a well-run location with quick service, good food, and a clean store. Exactly what you want from a pickup order.”

“A couple of my friends and I were absolutely starving and nothing was open. In desperation, we walked to taxo bell in hopes that maybe we'd catch them open. These absolutely amazing people not only took our order past closing time, but they didn't charge us and gave us extra food. And they held a nice conversation with us. The people here are amazing. The food was amazing. They deserve a raise PLEASE. We are so so grateful for their kindness and we genuinely love this place.”

“I gave him one stir on atmosphere because obviously I went through the drive-thru because it's McDonald's. You're generally not going to McDonald's to get a sit-down meal unless you have children and you just need to get them out of the car. So the drive-thru worked just fine. But I couldn't tell you what the atmosphere because it wasn't inside”

“We went to Repeal Steakhouse last night for a bachelor party with a group of 15, and overall, it was an excellent experience.

While there were a few issues with getting our large group seated at the beginning, the staff was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Their hospitality truly stood out and ended up being one of the best parts of the experience.

The bourbon selection was absolutely out of this world, and the food did not disappoint. The appetizers were excellent, the steaks were amazing, and the desserts were great as well.

For a large group, they could not have been more accommodating, and we really appreciated everything they did to make the night special. The hospitality alone put the entire experience over the top for us.

“I've eaten my way around the world — mom-and-pop kitchens tucked down alleys, street stalls with lines out the door, and a handful of spots from the World's Best 50 list. I say that not to brag, but so you understand the weight behind what I'm about to tell you: dinner at Decade is one of the best meals I've ever had in my life.

Andy and his team have pulled off something I genuinely struggle to put into words. The genius here isn't rare truffles or gold leaf — it's the opposite. Decade takes homey, everyday ingredients, the kind you'd find in any grandmother's pantry, and transforms them into something you simply won't believe. Each plate builds on the last, flavors folding and unfolding in ways I didn't know food could do. Familiar comfort turned kaleidoscopic. Textures that caught me off guard, flavor combinations that made me stop mid-bite and just laugh. If you could have an acid trip on a dinner plate, this is it — and I mean that as the highest compliment possible. This is the most creative menu I have ever encountered, and I do not say that lightly.

But great food is only half the story. The care behind every course, the rhythm of the meal, the sense that this team genuinely loves what they do — it all came through. You feel looked after. You feel like you're sitting at the center of something special that's only just getting started.

And it is just getting started. I'm genuinely excited to watch the Decade restaurant group grow, because there's a vision here that deserves to reach far beyond Louisville. One personal hope: I understand the co-owner has roots in San Francisco. As someone who calls the Bay Area home, I would be first in line if they ever opened a spot out west. Please make that happen.

If I lived in Louisville, I'd be here constantly — no question. Decade isn't just a meal. It's an experience I'll be telling people about for years.

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.”
