“My boyfriend and I are regular customers here. There is no food that feels quite like a warm hug quite like Yokohama. I get the chicken fried rice with extra chicken every time. Portions are always so generous. Quality is always consistent dine-in or carry out; they’ve never gotten an order wrong. I also love the atmosphere of the restaurant, very calming with beautiful decor and gentle piano music.“
“I was nearby so I popped into GreenGinger for lunch. The restaurant was quiet and tastefully decorated, the ambiance low-key. I ordered a pot of hot green tea to drink and I had the sashimi lunch - 10 pieces of sashimi that come with miso soup and salad. I also ordered gyoza as an appetizer. The soup was good, not terribly flavorful but perfectly acceptable as a starter for the meal. The salad was very fresh and crisp, served with the usual orange ginger dressing. The dressing was very good and just the right amount. The gyoza was excellent, perfectly pan-fried (as it should be), delicate and with a nice dipping sauce on the side. The sashimi was served without rice - two slices each of five different types of fish. It was fresh and not fishy, but flavorful. All in all it was a nice lunch that was satisfying without being filling. With tip it came to about $33.00 for one person.“
“Tasty food! My son likes to go to red sun with friends and we tried takeout tonight! Hibachi chicken and hot n sour soup , lobster Rangoon, brown rice and teriyaki chicken were all delicious ! Very good quality chicken and very fresh! Always have to get extra yum yum sauce to make it complete! We will return ! May be our new Go-to for Chinese!!“
“This is by far one of our favorite places to get habatchi. We drive about 20 miles to enjoy this restaurant since the one locally isn't up to par. The restaurant is always clean and the food has been good every time we have went. Roma is one of our favorite servers and has always gone above and beyond each time we have went. Most of the cooks do a great job of interacting too for a pleasant experience. Only complaint I would have is to wait until finished eating to clean flattop. Would highly recommend for families and groups. As we all are happy with our food and service.“
“This is an family run restaurant, clean ,very friendly, easy parking. I order Crispy Pork Cutlet - fresh made, I even can hear from outside, when the owner working my food from kitchen. My wife order Pho - rice noddle soup, the soup is very tasty, you will like it after 1st try. Yes, I finish all my food and soup.“
“Every dish I've had here is perfect, it's not overly salty like lots of other Asian food. It definitely has the best boba around. The staff bring your food to your table and clean your table when you're done they have great service.“
“Went for a birthday present, and it was absolutely wonderful! We were educated about the history and culture behind the food, and got to eat our tasty morsels! Our instructor was funny and a great teacher! We did the sushi class, but I can’t wait to take the street food course!“
“Beautiful place! Me and my husband shared the gyoza aka 6pc pork dumplings. Then we shared shrimp tempura roll, california roll, and angies roll. Angies roll was GREAT! All in all the food across the board was excellent. I had Friday special $3.95 Bahama mama. Great service all around from several people. We will be back.“
“Wow! Hands down the best sushi around these parts! Blown away by how fresh everything tasted. I have had both the sushi and the hibachi steak. The sushi rolls are exquisite and taste delicious. The menu is great and I am so grateful to have found this gem of a place!“
“If you're interested in trying different sushi this is a great place. There is an all you can eat option and they have a lot of food choices. It can feel kind of crowded on a busy day, but their servers are always great, so at least it doesn't feel like you wait long.“
“First time in had the spicy crab poke bowl. Flavor was excellent, and as a chilled bowl it was perfect for lunch. Bowls are filled to the absolute top, and neither of us could finish them. Daughter had the crispy chicken poke bowl and loved it. Hers was served warm, and we both agreed it would be a better dinner option. Brought home a shrimp bento box to wife and she really enjoyed it. Both girls are the counter were very nice. Hope this place survives because the flavors were great and the serving size was well worth the price.“
“I absolutely LOVE this place. It's always clean and staff is very welcoming. They have a hibachi but their sushi is so good that I haven't been able to try it yet! Also I am generally out with my disabled teen and its walkways are roomy enought for them to get around with both their cain or walker.“
“This place popped up over night. Ordered two teriyaki chicken bento boxes and an order of gyoza to go. The food was very good! The crab Rangoon in the bento box was the best I’ve ever had. The staff was nice and the service was quick. This place reminds me of quick counter service restaurants that I loved when I lived in Japan. It’s awesome to have a “fast food” Japanese Resturant in the neighborhood.“
“This is one great dive!.. from the outside you think ? I dunno... lol But the food and service, speaks for itself at Tomo..Japanese Steakhouse classics in a diner atmosphere without the tableside hibachi. But there is no lack of quality or taste to this little treasure. The family running it, is the prime example of putting your heart into your craft. Great food, great service, just a little left to achieve on the atmosphere and curb appeal... but this place is fantastic. 5 stars from this Hibachi fanatic.“
“It was overall a terrible experience, but the worst was the cook asked where my husband was. I was so shocked I didn't even know how to answer. 1) It's none of your business. And 2) That's so flippin rude! Who does that???!!! That was 2 days ago and I have been appalled ever since. So rude! And they added gratuity on their own account. There was only 2 of us.“
“The atmosphere is relaxing and welcomes you in. The music is sweet and with a couple of people or even several groups would not overpower the conversation at a calm level. The sushimi is melt in your mouth perfect, tender and succulent. The rolls are amazing with crispy and decadent with sauces that compliment without over powering the delicate flavors of the fishes and other ingredients. You have a choice of jasmine as well as the general green tea proffered in most establishments. The seaweed salad is everything you want without any of the slime you find in most buffet bars. You MUST try a roku roll, but my favorite may just be the jalapeno roll. Bawi is a good hostess. Polite and professional making sure your needs are tended sufficiently. So with such an awesome review why the 4 stars? The 5th star is missing on the environment because this place is hot, wear light clothing or you will melt!. For the foods' lacking star i blame two things. Too much pepper and cilantro. The fact that eel is NOT available with the buffet is sad but can be purchased on the side. The ray of light is the size of the portions. They are totally worth it. I am excited to find Roku shuhi and pho and can't wait for the next food coma this place will put me in. Shushi showdown?? You bet!! And my bets are hedged here.“
