“Friendly welcome when I entered. I ordered Hibachi chicken dinner with onion soup for carry out. The wait took about about 10 minutes. They offered a beverage at no cost while I waited. I asked for sweet tea. It didn't taste very good. The chicken dinner with veggies and fried rice was delicious. Everything had an unexpectedly strong grilled taste which I like. The soup was pretty good too. Definitely worth the drive for me from Fort Harrison.“
“I visited on a Thursday evening around 6:00pm and it was bustling inside! I am in between a 3 or 4 star review here; I'm unsure if it was just an off day, but my sushi rice was a fairly hard. It had the taste of day old rice / not fresh. It was unfortunate since the fish itself was great! The miso soup came with our meal and was delicious. The server was very attentive and food came out quickly.“
“This place is top notch food with top notch service. Our waiter was beyond accommodating and so helpful when choosing what sushi rolls we wanted. He even was able to modify something for us based on our taste. I had a crispy tempura roll and a California roll, both classics, but great! My friend had a smoked salmon roll and decided that might be their new go to roll! The spring rolls were small, but perfect size to share between two people. The sweet sauce to dip was a great addition. The place is big, but has low ceilings so it feels cozy and small, but in a good way. There is a pedestrian entrance off 116th, but if you park (they have a lot) then you'll actually end up going in the back of the restaurant. We will be returning!“
“Very good appetizers, the crab artichoke dip is officially one of my favorites now. But sadly after spending so much on the twin lobster tails I was severely disappointed. I could barely cut the meat, let alone chew it… had to spit out two bites because it wasn't chewable…. I had to get a steak knife to even attempt to cut it and even then had to tug and rip just to get bite sized pieces. All the effort to be chewing what felt like pure connective tissue and no meat with every bite. I was so excited as it was my birthday dinner as well, live and learn. If I come back again I’ll stick to appetizers and maybe a burger or something for my entree./update. They personally reached out to me to apologize for my experience and refunded my mother, who paid for my birthday dinner, in full for the lobster tails. I truly believe it was just an unfortunate one off. I should have sent them back when I first had the problem. But I’m too polite and non-confrontational for my own good.“

“I have to admit, Htaw Metta was not our first choice on a Sunday evening, but our favorite Thai place was closed and the reviews were great so we gave it a try and so glad we did, a new go-to spot! We ordered takeout and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. Staff was very polite and friendly, even at the end of the day. Interior is pretty basic, don’t expect anything fancy. We ordered the banana fritters and chicken spring rolls for appetizers and both were good. The entrees is where things went to 5-stars! The Pad kra Prao with chicken was outstanding, perfect mix of vegetables and protein, super-flavorful, and spot on for spice level! Same for the yellow curry with chicken. Portions seemed fairly generous, we both had seconds with enough left over for one more meal from each. As with other Thai restaurants, prices seem a bit steeped compared to typical Chinese, but on par with other Thai restaurants and love that they have some Burmese options too. One word of caution, if you’re like us, it’s so darn good that you just may eat more than you planned!!“

If you have every had ceviche before please order here. Their ceviche is so lovely...just spicy enough...with such a nice citrus addition. It's a bit pricier than some places but I admit - they earned every cent from the service to the food quality. The Godzilla pics on the wall where we sat also were the best and entertained everyone in our area. I plan on Blue Sushi being one of our regular date nite locations.“
“Best sushi in the area by far. I am a vegetarian and they make fantastic veggie sushi rolls with a lot of variety, I recommend the garden roll with cream cheese added. Most sushi places don't have as many veggie options! My boyfriend eats meat and he loves the kani tempura roll and the dynamite roll. They also have great sides that we both really enjoy. We typically get take out, but the restaurant itself is also quite nice and the staff are always very friendly. It's a bit small so you may have to wait a short time for seating if they are busy!“

The owner Keith is very involved with running the business and doing whatever is necessary from making drinks, taking orders and running plates. Keith is very personable and makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend Chiba and don't miss the spicy tuna and spicy Salmon. Keith makes a mean Sazerac too. I ordered the “triple double mini burgers” two mini burgers, with double patties and triple cheese. The ground beef was very good, juicy and with burnt ends. The crinkle fries that came with the burger were a crispy delight. And while I was here I decided on a sushi roll. The “crunchy munchy roll” fried crab, cucumber, avocado, seaweed, sriracha; topped with tempura crunch, shrimp & sushi sauce. The food was slow to come out of the kitchen but was also worth the wait. Inside you’ll find two separate bar and dining areas. Both offering booths, tables and bar top seating. Lots of big screen TVs and a mixture of background music from country to hip-hop. “i went here for a school trip just recently! the food was incredible, and so was the presentation of the dishes. The staff was incredible, they were very nice and the service was speedy! the restaurant itself was super cozy and the seating was very comfortable. I have sensory issues and had no problem with the restaurant’s atmosphere, the temperature was comfortable as well. It’s aesthetically pleasing as well! not to mention the bathroom is nice, unlike other public restrooms. overall a 10/10, i would definitely recommend to check out this restaurant!“

“Nori Japanese Steakhouse offers hibachi and sushi at a reasonable price with a great staff. I've noticed some area Japanese hibachi restaurants offer hibachi, that is cooked in the kitchen and brought out to your table after its been prepared. Other area Japanese hibachi restaurants don't offer sushi, but Nori had everything we were looking for. I believe there are 4 or 5 hibachi tables spread throughout this medium sized restaurant in a strip mall. The staff were very accommodating as we didn't have a reservation but were sat right away. There is also a bar in the middle which offers a good unobstructed view of the hibachi. The chef for our hibachi experience was the best. He was funny, knowledgeable, and accommodating and would definitely be a reason I will be returning. Even if Nori is a little out of your way, it's absolutely worth visiting.“

Thank you for understanding. I really appreciate it.I went there with my friends today for the first time and I didn't order anything the minute I saw the menu. But my friends insisted to try something so I tried one tiny role of rice and avocado wrapped in black thing which tasted weird. After that I didn't eat anything. By the end service came and forced me to pay even though she knew I didn't eat anything. They should have informed us that regardless you eat anything you still gotta pay. May be with menu they should have given instructions.but nope, nothing. She was constantly staring at us. That was totally awkward vibe. Few minutes later she came in and demanded for us to tip and I told her that I didn't even eat anything but you forced me to pay just to sit there with my 2 friends. When I came back from there, I noticed that they charged me extra by fraud so now I am feeling like cheated. I basically sat in that hostile environment and paid them for what. And they were not satisfied by that and they thought it was okay for them to put fraud charges which I am gonna dispute. That was really rude and unethical. I DEFINITELY WOULD MOT RECOMMEND A NEW CUSTOMER. WOULD GIVE ZERO STAR IF THERE WAS OPTION. I need my money back. I feel like I was robbed. You didn't care 1 bit about customer's safety at all.“

“We have lived in the area for a couple of years, moved here from Chicago. We have finally found a good all you can est sushi spot! The food is prepared well and in good proportions, not shaved too thin and not too thick to easily bite into. Their menu has several rolls, but not many choices for sushi and sashimi, which was the only negative we experienced. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the helpful servers. We will definitely be going back !“
