“Went in not too long ago on a Saturday for lunch, from the time we walked in, The owners greeted us with a smile and were very personable, which is a lost art these days, so we were very comfortable from the get go, at that time we had multiple questions about the menu and AGAIN the owners explained every question we had in detail with no fluff, I ordered Italian Wedding Soup which is the BEST I’ve ever eaten, and finished with The Mostro… Great big portions and the food itself was amazing, we finished with desert and when we got the bill… again we was pleasantly surprised… I recommend to the highest powers that be that Ammirato’s Meatball Cafe is a hidden Gem and will definitely return for a different item on the menu”

The driver arrived 10 mins early to get in position and started serving immediately after opening the window. The driver was professional and courteous. “I called to ask about having a birthday party on short notice for my son’s 30th and during the holiday weekend and received a call from the owner letting me know it wouldn’t be a problem at all! I could bring my own food and decorate and he would have a DJ for the night. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating for anything we needed! Service was exceptional at the bar! My family and friends complimented the establishment as soon as they walked in the doors. We look forward to future gatherings or parties here for sure! It was a wonderful evening had by all!”

“When we went apple picking in NW Indiana near Chicago (Oct. '24), we discovered New Oberpfalz Brewing in Griffith, IN. What a great brewery+pub with outdoor and indoor seating to observe Oktoberfest! German cuisine on their menu was very typical of Gasthausen (guest houses) in Bavaria, The variety of their beers, lagers, and ciders created unexpected options to choose from to pair with the menu. The town of Griffith around the brewery has specialty shops to visit and there's a massive Serbian Orthodox Church on the edge of town with striking architecture. We plan to return to explore Griffith and tour New Oberpfalz' brewery.”

“We went for lunch, group of 4. Food was good. Drink specials on Monday and Thursday. This day they were repairing tables right in the restaurant area! The hammering was driving us crazy! Good thing it was only for half of our meal time. We planned to stay and drink some more, but couldn't take the noise.”
